I have had a few root canals now, and by far my most pleasant and comfortable experience has been with Dr. Roumani at Endodontic Associates. He was very thorough in his work, and his knowledge and expertise quite obvious. Moreover, he is personable and has a noticeably good, professional working relationship with his staff, who were all very friendly and helpful — kind of like family:) I appreciate both their care for my tooth as well as for me as a person.

Unprofessional, dishonest, shady procedures. Had to go somewhere else afterwards to have the root canal done properly. Girl in office very rude and uncaring.

Words I did not want to hear from my dentist«Well Sharon, looks like you’re going to have your first root canal.» He told me to make an appointment with Dr. Michael Weber of Endodontic Associates of Greater Washington. The office is located right off of Rockville Pike, next to what was White Flint Mall. There is plenty of free parking and the office is on the first floor across from the pharmacy. The office staff was not only pleasant to deal with but they were very helpful. There was a small problem with my insurance and they told me not to worry about it, they’d handle it, and they did. The doctor and his assistants were caring but also extremely efficient. Everyone knew what they were doing so the procedures went smoothly and were painless. The doctor was aware of any discomfort I was experiencing, not from pain, but from having a lot of equipment in my mouth needed for the procedure, and he would give me a moment to take a deep breath. So my experience was very similar to Tara’s and I would recommend this practice highly.

I came to Endodontic Associates for my first root canal a couple months ago. Everything about the experience was quicker, less painful, and less expensive than I expected(I guess my parents told me a lot of cautionary tales over the years about the many reasons I should try very very hard to avoid root canals?). Anyway, I met with Dr. Elliott for a consultation, and he was very straightforward in explaining the tests he was doing and the pros and cons of moving forward with a root canal. I’d already gotten the acceptance stage of the grieving process re: that tooth, so I was ready to do the surgery, as he recommended. On the day of the root canal, Dr. Elliott was again straightforward, professional, attentive to my comfort, and according to my dentist did a great job. Plus it didn’t hurt at all during or afterward. The whole office seemed very streamlined, friendly, and professional. I would certainly go back, although of course I hope to have flawless teeth from now on and never need them again!
