I purchased a groupon for $ 39 for two adjustments with Dr. Weinberg, which I was really happy about because in the past when I’d seen chiro deals they were usually just for«evaluations» or «exams». I’ve worked for two different chiropractors so I am used to getting adjusted, and I have long-standing issues with my spine(ugh a lot from stress/tension– especially my neck), so I really thought it was cost effective enough to check the place out(plus it was close to where I live and I had seen the building before). Still, I was a bit guarded when I went in, but I liked Dr. Weinberg and he didn’t seem too pushy. Now this may be relevant to people who have only seen chiropractors before, but he adjusted my neck when I was in a seated position(rather than lying on a table) and I felt A MUCHBIGGERDIFFERENCE than with neck adjustments I had in the past. After my two groupon visits I’ve been back about 4 times I think(around once a month) and while at that frequency the treatments haven’t cured me(I know I need to go more), but they help me significantly. I’m giving the place 4 stars overall because of the office/environment. My first two visits included physical therapy, and the PT area had florescent lights that were so bright it was agitating. The adjusting room in also VERY small(I’ve only ever been in one so not sure if there are more), although Dr. Weinberg is still able to do his work. The place just looked a little rundown, and I think they realized that because last time I went they had painted the walls a new mauve color and it looked MUCHBETTER. I guess I can’t complain about the regular $ 58 for an adjustment if you pay out of pocket because that seems to be the standard rate, but of course I wish it were cheaper! So overall I’m glad I found this place, so I guess the groupon did what it was supposed to do!
