The Center for Innovative GYN Care

Note: the review is specifically for Dr. Elizabeth B. Chahine.
I had met with only one other OB/​GYN prior to my visit at the Center for Innovative GYN Care. I kind of called last minute — I tend to read WebMD to sort of figure out what symptoms I have and what those symptoms may align with. I had read some articles the night before and convinced myself I needed to meet with a doctor the next day!
The staff members were really fantastic in the sense that they accommodated me and gave a same-​day appointment. Ideally, I would have preferred either an early morning or late afternoon appointment. But I really can’t complain considering that I was a first-​time patient and I was able to meet with Dr. Chahine the same day I had called!
My prior experience with another OB/​GYN (
) had left me feeling pretty violated. Comparatively, my experience with Dr. Chahine was beyond phenomenal!
I gave Dr. Chahine all sorts of relevant (health related) history and she made appropriate notes; she sought consent and she verbally walked me through all the steps she was taking during the examinations; and she gave me a summary printout of all things we had discussed. Prescriptions are electronically sent to a pharmacy of your choice; so you can avoid an extra trip to drop off the prescription. I also appreciated that she had a brilliant sense of humor. She laughed, she joked, and I totally and absolutely felt comfortable with her.
Dr. Chahine created a secured environment that I could easily tell her all health related details without hesitation. Doctors are probably the only people you can’t hide things from, and it’s so fortunate to be able to identify a doctor who can make you feel comfortable and relaxed.
I am a huge sucker for doctors who treat me like family, and there was one instance when Dr. Chahine mentioned I am probably just a tad bit older than her daughter. I am convinced that was my ‘aha moment’ that I was meant to meet Dr. Chahine! In summation, I am absolutely content with Dr. Chahine. She is definitely a very intelligent woman — I am very confident in all her medical capabilities to diagnose and treat patients.
