Pretty good pizza. Nice staff, very friendly, great location. We tried the 18″ half hamburger and half pepperoni. I have no complaints, but the crust is nearly identical to Napoli and Villa Vinci in Wylie. I REALLY wish someone had a thinner, less chewy, New York style crust around here. My favorite us still Urban crust until someone serves up something better. 3 stars because it’s decent pizza but needs to set itself apart from the others in some way. Too similar to other restaurant pizza.

I’m from the NOrtheast and was REALLY craving some NY style pizza by the slice. I asked around on a Rockwall: My Town Facebook page and was recommended to check out Andy’s by s few people. I went right over and it did not disappoint. So, SO good!

Been here several times, my order has been wrong both times in the past two weeks. Yes they have fixed it, but when your eating as a family it’s not much fun waiting on items that were wrong or forgotten. Not sure how many do overs I have left.

Our go-to pizza place just across the street. Owner cook. NY style pies. Free delivery. Eat in too.

This was my first visit :) The people were friendly and the service was good(Dine-in). The pizza: Great crust and it was fresh. 5⁄5 The pizza sauce was lacking the New York-style taste, although I liked that they didn’t skimp on the sauce. 2⁄5 The cheese was good and what you would expect of NY-Style pizza. 4⁄5 Overall, 3⁄5 for the pizza. Not the best I’ve had and not the worst. I’d recommend giving it a try, but don’t expect true NY-style. Glad to have them serving Rockwall and I hope they do well. Update: I ate here again today(a month later) and the pizza tasted totally different! So, pizza taste is inconsistent. Interesting.

Got 2 pizza slices here to try them out and they were delicious! Italian sausage had plenty of fennel seeds, that’s how I tell quality. Any meat that claims to be Italian better have fennel seeds. These were slices though and not the crumbled up italian sausage I’m used to seeing from pizza chains. Thought it was odd at first but tasted great, I dare to say even a little tastier than pepperoni… maybe not. Love the cheese and crust, crispy, but not scratch my mouth hard. Cheese wasn’t super salty like some buffet places, and didn’t burn me. Was just right temperature for immediate mouth shoveling. I was very impressed with the waitress’s level of courtesy. I did not expect that from a pizza place. Turns out she’s also the delivery gal. Left some bucks in the tip jar for her to show my appreciation. Was not impressed with the complimentary bread and dipping sauce of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Two reasons, the bread looked and tasted highly processed. The olive oil was almost flavorless. I know it’s a quaint pizza place, I shouldn’t expect Genesio olive oil and unbleached flour and big uneven bubbles in the bread… but it’d be a nice plus. My suggestion would be to leave the bread and dipping out and save some cost, put the focus on the delicious food. Hunger’s a great spice. Update: Knock off 2 stars for inconsistent quality. Jan, 22. I went again for lunch, they were out of ready slices. So they cooked some new ones for me, but it came out not completely done. Soggy pizza is nasty, the first piece just tore in half and toppings ran off a bit when I picked it up. Different waitress this time, but she’s good too. 20% tip as usual.

My wife and I was hoping to find a great pizza place near to our house so we decided to give Andy’s pizza a try. We were hopeful based on some of the Unilocal reviews, I guess you can’t always trust Unilocal. We ordered a large veggie pizza to go. They were very quick in making and baking the pizza, that’s where all the greatness ended. It took us about 5 minutes to get home and we were very disappointed with how the pizza looked to start and then to eat it was even more a disappointing. The pizza was very mediocre, the sauce was not tangy, the crust was a little gooey and the toppings were ok. For $ 20 you would expect more. If I had to compare this pizza to another I would say it was a step below a pizza at Costco and double the price. Unfortunately I can’t recommend Andy’s and will never go back. In an area as big as DFW metro area you would expect better quality because there is so much competition. At the end of the day both my wife and I wished we would have went to Domino’s for a fast cheap pizza.

Used to love this place. Everything we ordered was fantastic. We have now decided after the last time we will never eat it again. Used to love the Ziti with pink sauce the past few times we ordered it was super runny and the taste was not the same. Pizza is not as good as well. Calamari used to be amazing now it tastes like rubber. And the salad is a joke. We usually order to have delivered and the past four times they have messed up the order. Plenty of chance to get to right. So disappointed because this was our go to on nights we didn’t feel like cooking.

The hubs and I were hungry for pizza today, but didn’t want what we have had in the past. This place made our taste buds smile and say thank you a million times over. Oh my goodness… try this place! If you like great tasting, hand tossed pizza, here it is!

We have been regulars there since we live in the neighborhood and usually dine in. The owner is super friendly and the staff is always welcoming. Ordering delivery, however, was a disappointment. My husband ordered a calzone and it arrived burned on the outdside, and hollow on the inside. Sick. He cut it open and it was barely edible. Was it frozen? It sure looked like it, which is odd because everything else is so good. This was 2 stars, but I added 1 for the calamari.

Consistently good New York style pizza. It’s a little greasy at times, but it’s easily the best I’ve had out of 5 – 6 joints in Rockwall. However, the cheesecake was not worth the extra $ 3 – 4. Definitely worth the price when you consider the competition.

I was excited to try this place, but was very disappointed. Last week I ordered a meatball sub at 1:45. The sandwich was burnt & dried out(see pic). There wasn’t nearly enough sauce & I ended up throwing most of it away, which is a shame because I’m sure it tastes a lot better when made properly. I was quoted 30−45mins, but I figured that was an overestimation since the lunch rush was over, the food has a short cook time & the restaurant was only 0.3 miles away. But it arrived 47mins later. Normally I would have asked them to remake it, but I had meeting at 3& I highly doubt they could’ve gotten a remake to me before then. I needed something quick & tasty, but Andy’s failed to deliver.

Andys pizza definitely has some really good things going for it and some really bad things going for it. Environment and customer experience: POORTOAVGATBEST. Besides the owner, everybody in there really doesnt seem to care much to the customer experience. One time, they gave a my youngest a piece of paper and a box of crayons to color while we wait. When she reached in the box, she pulled out a couple dead little cockroaches and one that was still alive. It was pretty sad to see this Food: GOOD. of course this is totally objective and my likes may differ from everybody else’s but the pizza is not bad. My favorite pizza is that mushroom place along 30 so this place cannot compare to that place. But i find it better than all the chain places. The crust is good and the taste to the pizzas may need some more flavor. Price: good. I think the price is good for the quality and quantity of pizza you get. The XL pizza is pretty big so thats a huge plus Overall: I continue going to this place mainly because it beats out the chain places and that other place along 30 can get pricey. I really hope they improve their staff and cleanliness.

This pizza really is really good! I grew up eating Andy’s Pizza at the mall in Greenville. Please don’t judge the pizza by the mall. :) This is great New York style pizza. After visiting new york a couple of times and eating pizza there… it is nice to pick-up the phone and get it brought to the house right here in Rockwall! Try it extra crispy. We have a daughter who does not care for pizza(I know it’s strange) but she loves Andy’s Pizza! We order the extra large just to have leftovers the next day!

I think we found a hot new Italian spot And I can literally walk to it!!! They have everything-homemade. New York Style pizza, subs, seafood, chicken, veal entrees, lunch and kids specials, desserts, soup, salads, beer and wine house specials and all homemade pastas!!! Very good prices too. Big plus — you can buy pizza by the slice and it’s hand tossed!!! Dine in, pick up, free delivery, catering! And they are open 7 days a week. Rock on Andy’s.
