Braum’s Ice Cream & Dairy Stores

Only got stars for the mini mart. I like Braums milk, and their ice cream cartons to-​go. However, I would never eat in this place or order food because it is FILTHY!

Great Iced Tea, bad salads. Usually brown greens and on this occasion — Slimy Carrots.
I think I’m done with this store.

This place is NASTY! I’ve been here twice and it has been filthy both times. The floor is disgusting, the tables haven’t been wiped down, and the trash area is a mess. I won’t be coming back!

It has been a couple years since I’ve been here. Was a little disappointed. The floors were dirty. There was not any catsup in the tubs. They had to be told twice to fill them. The food was just okay. The hamburgers were a bit dry but the fries were good. I think I might wait another year before I come back.

Ordered the chicken fried steak sandwiches. These were so bad neither one of us could finish them. I don’t know how long those piece of something had been sitting in a bin or what was going on this was the worst thing ever served on a bun. I guess ice cream and burgers are the speciality.

We pulled into the drive thru and ordered shakes for three of us. The lady at the drive thru taking the order wasn’t very friendly, I must say. One chocolate shake and two mint chocolate chips, all mediums. The drive thru here is so slow. It took 10 minutes from the time we ordered just to get to the window to pay. The wait time is quite long for a drive thru and the parking lot wasn’t that full when we pulled in. We finally got our shakes and although my sons chocolate was full to the top the other two mint chocolate chip ones were only filled ¾ of the way full. Definitely wouldn’t come here again for shakes. Braum’s has great shakes but they don’t fill them up at this particular location. The boy who handed the drinks off also forgot straws… Well that pretty much summed it up right there! No-​go for a repeat!

I love their milk. I will only buy Braum’s milk.

Milk jugs are sometimes VERY dirty and nasty looking and dented in.
I can not believe the manager (if they have one) allows their employees to put out dirty or smashed in jugs of milk. I go to this store once a week for milk and see this often. See the picture.

I needed to pick up a gallon of milk on my way home and it was already late so rather than driving over to Wally World and hassleing with parking and long check-​out lines, the light bulb in my head went off and I thought of Braums. Wow! I love their little mini-​mart. I only went in there for milk but left with some bananas and also picked up some of their hummus for a late night snack. The friendly young girl at the checkout register told me how «I couldn’t go wrong» with that brand of hummus and she was right! I loved it (considering it was store-​bought). What really impressed me was their selection of fruit and vegetables. They had lemons the size of my FIST — instead of the little ping-​pong ball sized lemons you tend to find at Walmart! (Yes, this kind of stuff excites me). They also had rib-​eye steaks and ribs and all kinds of other dinner options. I’m not much of an ice cream eater but I will definitely keep this place in mind when I have to pick up some quick things on my way home!
P. S. — will definitely have to check out the pound cake on the recommendation of another reviewer.

Braums is a safe bet for every meal. Their breakfast is usually always good and their biscuits are usually so soft and fresh they fall apart while eating them. Normally I don’t like that but a fresh biscuit is a fresh biscuit. Lunches are pretty normal. The burgers are usually cooked fresh and seasoned pretty good with their crinkle cut fries. As far as ice cream I would rank it pretty much on top. They also have chicken sandwiches and a chicken fried steak sandwich. As well as being a fast food joint, they also have a small grocery store with all the ice cream and milk products as well as breads, meats, and cheeses. The plus side of this, if you are needing a gallon of milk on your way home or a loaf of bread, just pull up to the drive thru and order it.

Love Bram’s and their food, malts and ice cream! Staff a usually friendly. Lost two stars for the swarm of flies EVERYWHERE in the store and unacceptable filth everywhere behind and in the dining area.

Braum’s is always a great choice for quick food and great ice cream treats at reasonable prices.
On other occasions I have enjoyed their hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. On this particular visit I had their Grilled chicken breast salad. It was the perfect size for a late lunch!

I used to rock Braum’s on the regular but then I don’t know what happened. I think I got more conscious of my food intake and stopped with so many burgers and krinke cut fries and brownie fudge sundaes and mixes with the coookys (lol).
Seriously though…
I like their mart inside! It has lots of good items and options that surprise you. It’s convenient. I get fruit for lunch or other stuff to top my dessert.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the pound cake. Can you say… MMmmoist. That’s the way a pound cake should be. No lie. Try it!!!
I was feeling the grilled chicken sandwich too. Extra lettuce and tomatoes please.
Solid selection for occasional splurges.

I feel I have to put them on the map! Braum’s is not just an ice cream shop, it’s also a mini mart, and a burger joint. Braum’s has good old fashioned ice cream and hamburgers. No fancy sauces, names, or flavors here. Sometimes the staff treats you like a number, but who cares when you are getting a great scoop of ice cream. Their prices are very reasonable and they don’t «weigh» your cone.
