The last 2 times we have had food delivered our order has been wrong!!! Very frustrating, especially because the food is just ok at best.

I hate giving bad review but this place is not good. I had their fried rice and it had no taste at all. The chicken were thin strips and had absolutely no flavor. Their egg rolls were more like fried spring roll and had an off taste. The only thing I ate was their chicken wings. Pretty disappointed.

Food quality is great my family orders delivery from here once a week. Service is fast and I have yet to receive an order that isn’t exactly what I asked for even if I customize it(switch out sauce etc or ask for extra crispy or extra spicy)

They had good service! You can sit down and be waited on or get carry-out. I liked the Shrimp Lo Mein and Wonton Soup. Their menu is the typical Chinese take-out menu with many items to choose from like shrimp, beef and chicken dishes. I would recommend this place and I will return there again for a meal.

Left me on the phone holding forever trying to order(over 10 minutes) late with delivery and food was cold.

I was not impressed with this restaurant. When you walked into the restaurant, you are overwhelmed by the odor from the nail shop next door. Could not enjoy our meal and will not be back.

Decent food with a reasonable price. I had the garlic chicken, rice and egg roll soup. The soup was amazing, but the meal wasn’t anything to brag about.

It used to be really good. Recently, it seems like they’ve gotten cheap on the meat. We ordered the combination lo mein and it was greasy and the meats were teeny tiny. I’m so disappointed.

We have lived Rockwall for about 8 months now and have used China Taste for pick-up and/or delivery about 7 times. The first time we weren’t impressed by the food(dumplings were doughy and sesame chicken had an odd texture). But we decided to give them another try and each time since has been good Chinese food that we were hoping for. We suspect it was just a bad night for the chef that first time. We typically get Beef and Broccoli, Sesame Chicken, Fried dumplings and some other app. Good flavor, arrives hot when it gets delivered, always packed good so it doesn’t spill all over the place. Our favorite place for Chinese food! The actual location is in a small strip center over looking Walmart. Can be hard to find a close spot to park but you can find a spot. While typically not a lot of people in the restaurant, you can see their main business is pick-up/delivery. The hostesses are constantly on the phone taking orders and always seems to be someone at the counter picking up.

My wife, and I really didn’t care for this restaurant. We didn’t like their sweet & sour sauce, then tried their beef broccoli sauce, and it was just a little okay. Didn’t receive the fried rice until we were about to leave, then waitress brought it out, and apologized. I told my wife while we were sitting there, that I smelled something like finger nail polish Very Strong. As we were leaving, I noticed a Nail Salon next door! We won’t be back to this one, although they did have customers coming in and out.

Alright, yes the food is somewhat average tasting; guilty as charged. But hey — when you’ve been at the State Fair all day, eating Lorak knows fried-huh-what-on-a-stick and your kids say they want Chinese for dinner — this place is Safe for stomachs that have already been traumatized today. We have been eating here for 9 years now — when we want decent Chinese food that we know will not aggravate stomachs — China Taste is the Place! When we want new and different and a ‘cuisine’ experience — we go elsewhere. If you want Consistent & Fresh Chinese food, delivered in 45 minutes even when they tell you an hour — this one is a keeper. The storefront is okay to eat at as well — the staff is friendly(and family friendly with our autistic ADHD youngest) and parking is usually fine. The décor is as predictable as the food, but hey this is a strip mall, not the Taj Mahal. Well-above the ‘Threshold of Disappointment’ on their worst day and dwelling upon the ‘Threshold of Awesome’ when you are exhausted, don’t want to cook and the kids are whining for dinner and they get it there in the same amount of time it would take to throw a meal together yourself.

This is my favorite delivery place. I have never been disappointed. They have great cashew chicken, awesome fried rice, fabulous hot and sour soup and my kids love the teriyaki chicken. This is great place to sit and have a quiet relaxing alone time lunch as well. They are so friendly and sweet. Sometimes you need that alone time to just veg out and breath and this is the perfect place. I love ordering hot tea and a great meal off the lunch menu.

I have probably ordered delivery from China Taste hundreds of times. The food arrives hot, inside nice plastic trays which my wife keeps and uses to store leftovers. As others have reported, it is standard Cantonese-American — your basic cheap Chinese food with no surprises. Sweet-and-sour chicken with that nasty clear red sauce that kids love. Egg foo yung with mystery gravy. Kung Pao chopped into identical particles. Etc. I hope I’m not making it sound bad, because it’s not — it is exactly what you get at, say, an inexpensive buffet. I have a gaming group at my house every Saturday, and we order delivery from China Taste about half the time(the other half, it ‘s pizza). It’s decent and everyone knows what to expect. Sometimes I like more adventurous Chinese food. But you can ‘t find that in Rockwall yet, and if you could, I doubt it would deliver. So this is perfect for an effort-free meal at home. We have ordered from other chinese deliveries here — hunan, van chan’s, etc. but they are no better(sometimes worse), and don’t come in those useful plastic trays my wife adores. Seriously.

Fresh and good American Chinese food. Flavorful and really cheap. $ 6 for huge entrée is not bad all. But of a wait, but wonderful when craving some Americanized Chinese.

Very fresh and delicious. It takes time to get your order, but worth the wait. Great lunch values for around $ 6.00.

Wonderful. Used . First time for China Taste and . I usually order from Hunan but wanted to change it up. Glad I did. There was more selection and more meat on my entrees. Food was fast. Nothing was leaking in the bags and we ordered a soup. The walnut shrimp was just like how we get it in China town. The kids loved the Chicken with Veggies even my 3yo. Food was reasonably priced. Fed a family of five for around $ 23. Of course I tipped so it was a tad bit more.

The options for Chinese food, even the cruddy Americanized variant, are pretty limited east of the lake. This place is nice enough inside, the staff of young HS students were bright-eyed and bushy tailed. Very helpful and responsive. Ample parking for a strip mall establishment. The problem? The food was, well… bland. Uninspired, just lacked flavor, how do you make shrimp fried rice tasteless? They managed. The shrimp were fresh, the veggies were even fresh… it was just bleh. I ordered beef, water chestnuts and chilis in a szechuan sauce. Holy-mother-of-waterchestnuts! It looked, and tasted, like the guy busted out a can of La Choy water chestnuts and dumped them water-n-all into the wok with some premade La Choy szechuan sauce. Everything, again, was cooked properly and the ingredients were fresh… just well…(ran out of ways to say tasteless/bland). I got a pair of what appeared to be fresh pork eggrolls… and I assume they were home-made because of the utter lack of pork in them… they were more like cabbage rolls with some specs of pork. Fresh again, but uninspired and bland(how does something deep fried STILL come out bland *boggle*). I’ll keep trying other places in the area, it’s pretty limited and all-in-all this place is better than Hunan whateveritis in DT Rockwall. Sadly, the food at Panda Express is tastier than China Taste :(
