This was our first time at this restaurant, the atmosphere is excellent, the prices are very reasonable we had the meat lovers pizza and it was great, we plan on eating here often.

My rating is 3.5. The atmosphere is great and the service was good. The calamari was excellent. Fresh, perfect texture, not too much breading. Calamari 5⁄5. The pizza was average. The cheese didn’t have enough flavor and the sauce was weak. Pizza 2⁄5 Great service! Good people. I will return to this restaurant. I would recommend giving it a try as well.

The ONLY reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because: A) Mike was a great server and gave us great service. B) the frozen bellinis are great! Went there last Friday night. Family birthday. I thought, «has 4 star reviews out of 77, must be pretty good», right! Nope. I ordered the Chicken Pesto. Barely a hint of pesto or flavor, but at least the texture of my chicken wasn’t hard, dry and rubbery like the Chicken Tetrazzini my boyfriend ordered, or the chicken picatta my mo ordered. Just not enough flavor for the price of over $ 12 per entrée. Bathrooms are also smelly and gross. I have no idea why in the work this poace gets 4 stars. It’s not as though there’s a shortage of restaurants in Rockwall. Or is there?

Their pizza is one of the best. We had such a sweet waitress. When we were at the door owner took the tip from our desk. Food is great and the waitress is great too. Not as great as we had in NY

Never heard of this place just decided to stop in… was really wanting some really good authentic Italian food! Went on Saturday night about 8. place was not crowded at all… we ordered the chicken parm. dinner(does not come w salad) chicken & pesto dinner(comes w a salad). they bring large garlic knots to table which are really good!(does not come with any oil or butter just bread) we decide to order a «dip» for out bread… olive oil & garlic. which they bring in a bowl completely filled w oil, garlic, & a fresh basil leaf… this would have been great if they didn’t put sooo much garlic in it… the chicken parmesan was decent but you can get better at olive garden… the chicken pesto however was horrible. the fettucine was way over cooked the sauce was very bland & runny… I didn’t eat much of it… the salad was made of lettuce &1 sliced tomatoe so that should tell you how great that was… the ranch dressing was good! I gave this place 3 stars only for the service… the service is amazingly excellent… very attentive & super friendly staff

Came for lunch with some coworkers, some of whom are regulars here. It didn’t disappoint! Service was prompt and attentive. Fresh large knotted rolls came out hot and to perfection. Traditional Italian fare with plenty of options to keep you second guessing your decision(everything sounded great)! I went with the classic Chicken Parm. Nice thinly pounded chicken breast that flavorful yet not overly breaded. The pasta was the perfect compliment and sauce was fresh. Although I had to ask for some extra as my dish was a little light on the sauce(yet admittedly o do like extra sauce normally). Not a problem for the service though and it came in less than 60 seconds(awesome because I hate asking for something once my food comes only to wait and wait and wait on it while my meal gets cold and others are eating… or worse waiting on me).

Cute, Italian restaurant off Highway 205. Food is really great. I think we’ve ordered just about everything on the menu. Highlights include the stuffed tilapia which is what they usually have as a lunch special. Their angel hair basilica is delicious and light. The gnocchi is really yummy. It’s a great place for big groups and families. Looks like they get pretty busy on weekends. We’ve ordered takeout as well and its still really good. The best part is their garlic bread which is huge twisted buns of heaven! Try this place out if you’re in the area.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in Rockwall. I have tried many things on the menu… Everything on the menu is tasty. They are very generous with portions and the staff is extremely friendly. This is our go to Italian restaurant in Rockwall. Pizzas are fantastic as well.

Best Italian Restaurant around. Chicken and Veal Ariabiata are amazing. Bread is always fresh and delicious. Management is friendly, social, and curtious. Doesn’t get any better than this.

I ordered lasagna there it came out quickly but it was just a hot sloppy Goo in a hotplate I guess what I was looking for is a big square high pile multi layered lasagna not slop. We had good service and the waiter was awesome but the next time if I go I’ll try something different!

Sooooooooo yummy! Start with the Bob’s Dip to eat with your bread, get a bottle or glass of Clean Slate Riesling, & then, for your entrée, I would recommend either the Pesto Pizza or Chicken Parmigiana.

Always have great service every time I go here. Decent prices. Awesome food. Just sucks that they’re always so crowded and it’s always freezing in the restaurant. The tortellini is fantastic!

We used to love this place, and normally when one of the original owners are there, it’s rocking and rolling — but today I called in an order and two girls answered the phone both trying to understand me when I’m trying to order gnocchi. Ultimately, they get someone else on the phone who laughs and takes my order. I then get there when they said it would be ready, and the kitchen is chaos. The little 20-something manager(?) is running around trying to pull everything together. Of course, my order isn’t ready, and people are piling up everywhere. Maybe this is a bad night, but it looks like this place is heading down hill.

One thing this metroplex is missin’ is some home cookin’ Italian restaurants. Not Olive Garden, not Macaroni Grill, not Johnnie Carino’s. But we are totally short on the types of places where they make their own sauces and home made pasta and everyone is happy and drunk on nice italian wines and homemade bread. Luigi’s isn’t one of those places either. BUT they are damn better than the chains. There are lots of choices that are off the beaten path here. I had the pesto chicken pasta and it was very tasty– the sauce was a creamy pesto kind and it was really delicious. Ben and I headed over and had a pizza recently and it was also good– and HUGE for the price we paid. Like, so big we two only ate ½ of it. And we are eaters. Like, in love, chubby style people. #justsayin. Hey, we’re working on it. :) The wine list is tiny but CHEAP, most bottles in the $ 20 range. Overall, you could do worse for Eye-talian in Rockwall, and it’s not one of those meh chains!

Not a fan. I can’t understand how this place has a 4 star review. Their marinara is disgusting and that’s the heartbeat of an Italian American restaurant. I ordered fish and vegetables and they were overcooked. I’m only awarding stars for the service. The waiter was good and he was honest about what food was fresh and what was previously frozen… It’s just too bad they ruin fresh food.

Great food. Can’t say enough about this place. Friendly service, fast food delivery, but not been sitting under a heat lamp fast. Highly recommend if you are in the area an want some good Italian food.

We really enjoy this place. I love the lasagna, my husband normally gets the sausage and peppers, little man gets a slice of pepperoni pizza. He’s a picky eater and they will even adjust the cooking of it so it’s not so cooked on the bottom. I like the garlic/olive oil dip with the garlic rolls. Wish they had better ranch dressing so I could add a salad. The fat kid in me likes really good dressing, preferably homemade and REAL butter on the tables. Not margarine… which is one element away from being considered plastic. Overall, great place. There’s another one in Fate where we live that we go to occasionally but for some reason this one tastes a little bit better although it seems the same. Lol if that even makes sense. Go here… you’ll like it… you’re welcome!!!
