Was seated on a busy night for Valentines with is 5 min. Party of 2 at 7:30, Great service, Ronnie upstairs bar/​server was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and quick. The pizza takes about 25 min because everything is hand made. Pizza was some of the best I ever had.

Fantastic service and great food! Huge variety of beer and awesome happy hour specials. Based on Kasi’s recommendation we got Spinach dip with pita, half holy shiitake and maui wowie pizza. great flavour and amazing crust. Kasi also suggested the Top Shelf Margarita and it was superb. Best pizza place around!!!

Absolutely delicious. We got the Maui waui and the mighty meaty, each bite was packed full of flavor. The mighty meaty had bacon and ham and other meats, seriously, did this pizza fall from heaven? Both were absolutely perfect. We had the pretzels and the meatball trip and those were perfect meatballs, the pretzel was so full of homemade goodness flavor. On Mondays they have half off appetizers.

Was looking forward to going to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend.
Greeted at the door and we were seated immediately. New restaurant neat décor and pleasant staff.
As I was looking through their beer menu our waiter approached and recommended the pumpkin ale that was a special $ 2.00 off. I agreed and we placed our pizza order. We were told that it would take 15 minutes since they prepare the pizza from scratch.
Comes back and tells me that the pumpkin ale had run out. Changed my order to a sweet tea.
After 19 minutes he came by and told us that it wouldn’t be long. At 26 minutes he said it was coming. 32 minutes he brings us a pizza. But it is not the pizza that we ordered. He leaves to check what may have happened. He then comes back and offers us the same pizza and tells us that he had corrected the order which he had put in incorrectly.
46 minutes after ordering our pizza, we leave. No apologies. Oh well, wish you better luck.

I have, after many years found a substitute for my favorite pizza place Fultano’s (Oregon based pizza)…plus they have 72 beers on tap! If in Texas eat at Mellow Mushroom! Cool atmosphere less than 2 miles from my house. Best pizza in the South!

The food was decent, but the service was lacking. I spent most of my dinner without the offer of a refill on my water, or an offer for another beverage. This place could have made much more money off of me. Although I sat at a table in the restaurant, the female bartender who was waiting on my table seemed to be put off by having to wait on kids.. The beer selection looked good, but I don’t know if they can match the specials of Flying Saucer, down the street. My future dollars will be spent elsewhere.

This is our first visit to the Mellow Mushroom.
Ambiance: if you are looking for a quiet dinner-​not the place for you. It is loud and everything echoes. The patio has a beautiful view and is the best seats in the house.
Food: The food was ok. Pretty expensive for a pizza. Nothing really special here.
Service: the server was great. Attentive and really efficient. Refilled our drinks and checked back to make sure everything was ok.

I like how casual this place is. The way the workers present themselves by their uniform and the way they serve shows how laid back it is. Pizzas here is great, but family actually came here for their pretzels and hoagies. The dough is our favorite thing of this place, which they uses it for everything. Pretty much the food is a 5. The service was excellent. Server checked on us often. The only reason why I took off a star is because the hostess. When she was handing us our menus, she scratched my face pretty hard with the menu. I only it was only an accident but the way she apologize didn’t even seen that sincere. Like hurting your customer happens a lot, and it’s not a big deal. But maybe I’m being dramatic. Overall great food, great place.

I always like the pizza at the mushroom. They only get four stars because they are overpriced on everything. And yet I still pay. They have one of the best beer selections you will find in a chain restaurant.
The bar is generally good, and the food all around is good. What is not to like about that.

Overall a nice dinner. We walked in at 7pm on a Friday and there was no wait. Our waitress was very friendly.
The pretzels made from pizza crust are pretty good with the different dipping sauces, although I prefer them a little softer. Everyone ordered their own small pizza and was happy with it. I recommend you order a side of honey to dip your pizza crust in. Yum!
They have a very nice and large selection of beers which was a nice surprise. They list them by group and even include the percent, it was sort of like going to Flying Saucer.
All in all a nice pizza experience.

We came for lunch so it wasn’t crowded so we got seated right away. We had the cheese bread appetizer it was delicious and came with a side of red sauce. yes I know what you’re thinking a pizza appetizers for a pizza restaurant. .so not the same this was on a nice crusty french bread really good .
We ordered the house Calzone comes stuffed with mushrooms spinach tomato and cheese. .I was expecting so much more. Based on the restaurants «hippie» them I was expecting mother earth goodness in the ingredients.. More homegrown flavor but found the tomatoes soaked in oil and salt and not having a roasted quality to them. There was more than enough cheese for my Calzone and at 1 more. The outside crust had a great crackle and crunch. but the inside was coated in olive oil. The food was ok.
The 4th star is for out waiter he was great kept our glasses full and checked on us often.
Will I be back? Not anytime soon.

So far I’ve only ordered takeout from this restaurant.
We had the barbecue pizza and it was underwhelming and lacked flavor. It was really pricey for what we got.
I’m willing to give it another try, and will perhaps update this review at that point.

I haven’t tried much, or I’d rate them higher! What I did had, was great.
The building is new and well decorated, feels eclectic.
The menu is pretty darn big. Lots of apps, salads, sandwiches and pizza. The hummus was good, but I wouldn’t order it again when they have so many other yummy sounding apps. The mushroom soup was amazing, creamy, fresh and rich. The buffalo chicken pizza made my buffalo wing sauce dreams come true. The mushroom pizza was decadent, rich and I wish I had ordered it. Instead, i just stole some slices from my mom.
good service, not slammed on mother’s day like the gross waffle house next door.

I’ve been to 4 different Mellow Mushrooms and this one was a disappointment. Beer selection is nice, but the food was meh…
My app came out cold and the wait was long for the incredible amount of people they had running around. Just seemed very disorganized to me, and I didn’t get that comfortable hang out vibe. I’ll go back again and update my review, but so far I’m not real impressed.

Yes!!!
This last visit was a take out order. My second of this kind. This time was much better and reminiscent of my very first memory at Mellow Mushroom. The flavor of the pizza was on point. Back to the top quality I have grown to love respect and admire. Yes I know that sounds a tad sentimental but I love my pizza people.
Yeah, I was a little disappointed on my first take out experience with the pizza. But I gave it another shot tonight and I was not disappointed.
The small was perfect for me. Trying to maintain portion control! Yes for me there is portion control hahaha. Hopefully I will be brave enough to try something new but right now my ½ mellowterranean and ½ house special combo is my usual.
