Stopped in for lunch yesterday 2.8.16…our first time… feels like a real London Pub… dark, earthy, and eclectic. We ordered the Scotch egg… great flavor but the egg was over done… my preference is a bit runny… and I realize that is tough to do… but again, flavor was great. Love their beer on tap menu… many Local and Texas breweries… Revolver Blood and Honey is great and Guns and Oil Stout was very rich. Reuben Sandwich was very good and the hand cut fries are some of the best. Can’t wait to go back for dinner and some late night Pub Atmosphere!

Everyone was nice and if you are coming to hang out I think it would be good for drinks with friends. However, I don’t recommend the food based on what we had. We had the Potato Croquettes which were ok. We didn’t know what we wanted so we split the Fish & Chips and The Tower of London Burger. The burger is supposed to be a blend of hamburger and brisket. Well, I have had brisket blend burgers before and this isn’t is! It had no taste except the grease and taste of cheap meat. The Fish was good though a little greasy. As for the hand cut fries, they have some kind of coating and seasoning on them. When I think«hand cut fries» I think FRESH potatoes cut up not frozen or covered up in something. Soooooo, where as it would be a great place just to hang and drink, I think they are missing the boat where the food is concerned! Really quite a disappointment!

i went there for the fish and chips. Got there and made myself comfortable sitting at the bar. i tried a local brew and enjoyed it very much and changed my mind after reading the menu and elected for the corned beef hash instead. it was very tasty and the portion was a typical size but I was still feeling hungry. By this time the place was emptying out and i could hear the kitchen radio in the background competing with the sound from the tv’s and found this irritating. i asked the bar tender if she could get it turned down and she said she would. anyway long story short, i could still hear the kitchen radio and cut my visit short. i had intended to stay for at least another hour trying out another beer and ordering the bangers and mash. As someone who is in the construction industry i am constantly being forced to listening to Mexican music. Music is a personal matter and should not be forced on anyone else, even from a restaurant kitchen.

Still enjoy the place, food & servers. However, we’ve been in twice now where we’ve notice incorrect prices on our happy hour bill. The first time we just let it go, however this past Friday we brought friends. When we checked out, 2 beers were rang up @ the wrong price and an item our friends did not receive, was not removed from their bill. I’m just saying ALWAYS check your receipt before paying the bill, HERE and EVERYWHERE!

We loved this place. Then they took their drink menu away, and the quality of the food has begun to decrease. I hope they fix it! This was one of few places we frequented in Rockwall.

Not sure what happened to other reviewers, I love the Londoner! The service is fine(its not McDonald’s folks). It has always been laid back and relaxed when I was there with my wife. We love the cheese fries and the burgers are delicious! Had one beer there one time(not much of a drinker) and it was nice and cold. Come by and enjoy!

Great fish n chips, better than half the fish n chips I had in Edinburgh. Sadly there is no English cider on tap, only angry orchard, but they do have cans of strongbow, which is something.

The Londoner in Addison used to be my favorite destination for a pint and conversation. Making the trek to Addison isn’t something I enjoy now so imagine my delight when I discovered the Rockwall location. Both visits have been with large groups(20+) and both servers handled it very well, which is not an easy task. The food is standard pub fare and isn’t going to win any awards but works well to provide a beer sponge. The interior is dark and woody, as a pub should be, with an area for a band. The standout is the huge deck out back complete with cooling fans in the summer and heaters in the winter. The Londoner fills a much needed spot in Rockwall when you just want a pint and conversation.

Terrific ambience, great patio and really tasty food make for a really nice dining experience here. And — please don’t judge — the fries are the best around. My husband and I both try to avoid fries, but someone invariably orders them and we simply can’t resist.

My husband and I stopped in for some ‘fish and chips’ at the demands of our son. He said these were the best he’s had. Our first mistake was ordering an appetizer! However, the scotch eggs I am in love with. These could be a meal all alone! A boiled egg wrapped in sausage, breaded and deep fried, served with mustard and a jalapeño raspberry jam. Heaven! We ordered the fish and chips. Perfectly crispy fish though a little greasy but that’s traditional. The fish flavor was fantastic. We also ordered the Sheppard’s Pie. Looked amazing and tasted just eh so so. It was basically a bowl of mashed potatoes with cheese and a small amount of meat. We could have skipped this but some may like it. Not saying it was bad just not what we were expecting. I think more meat for sure would make this better, lots more meat! We are looking forward to coming back on a nice weather day and checking out the patio area. It was cold and misty the day we came so we sat inside. It really feels like a genuine pub, music and all!

The food here is AMAZING! The homemade mac ‘n’ cheese is out of this world! The fish and chips are the bomb! Everything I have ever had here has been top notch! The Londoner is a quaint little place that is a gem. A definite must-go!

My wife and I arrived at 11:15 wherein we were seated on the patio. We waited over ten minutes without any contact from wait staff despite being their sole customers. We left!

Today was my 3rd visit and the best so far. I am giving it 3 stars. I like the atmosphere. It has a real English pub vibe. Good selection of beers and ales on tap from local breweries. The food has been great but the service is inconsistent. Lets get to the the food first. I really like the Fish and Chips. They are big chunky portions nestled in a tasty crunchy batter. The house tarter sauce is good too. I splash on vinegar then dunk em in the tata sowse –yum! I have had the burgers and they are big and juicy with a good soft toasted bun. On this trip however,(Saturday, Lunch) I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala. It did not disappoint! I figured if this place has the guts to put it on the menu. it better be good. I know the Brits love their curry so i had to give it a try. I work in Irving, Las Colinas area where there are more Indian restaurants than burger joints, so I have attained a pretty refined palette when it comes to a good Masala. I will rate the Masala as a solid 4.5. The Basmati rice was cooked just right and the bread was a soft pita rather than Naan, but hey I didnt expect Naan. I partied on the outdoor patio with the Rockwall Blonde Ale –I’m droppin a 4 on that! Very tasty on a September afternoon. My wife ordered a salad that had blue cheese, pecans and strawberries with a sweet poppy seed dressing. That salad could not have been better! I would have rated The Londoner a solid 4 if it had not been for the poor attitudes of the chick bartender and host on our first two visits. I don’t think they work there anymore. Many compliments to the chef! The food is 10 notches above typical pub fare.

Just had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. Even though it is August it is still bearable sitting on the patio. The service was great and the food was cooked to order and came out on time. The food was excellent! Being Brits my wife and I had the UK dishes. I had the Guiness Stew which was outstanding and my wife had the Fish and Chips which were amazing too. We will be back another time!

Great beer selection and solid service. I only wish the patio were bigger. The food is good but on the heavy side for my liking. If that’s what you want you’ll likely enjoy it!

Sweet little location down under a grove of pecan trees. Long pub style interior leads to a large patio w a fireplace for winter, coolers for the rest of the year and an upstairs patio for smokers including cigars. Typical hit or miss Londoner food but waitresses have worked hard each time I have been here.

I’m tossing in another star to my previous rating simply due to one thing: a server named Adam. Dude gave my wife and me the best service we’ve had in a very long time. He was personable, attentive, and got everything out quickly and correctly during happy hour on a Friday. That being said, I’m currently sitting at the bar on my day off from work, alone. I sat here for 10 minutes with an empty beer. The bartender is a nice guy and seems like he’s attentive, but it’s a little too slow in here to sit that long with an empty glass. All in all, service seems to be hit or miss here. Food is still delicious and the portions are above average for the price. I don’t know if the staff needs more training or if management is to blame, but service could definitely improve. I’ve been here multiple times and never seen a manager. Just down the street is Oscar Delta, where the manager is constantly checking on ALL tables. I’ll keep coming back. Still rooting for these guys to succeed, but improvements need to be made.

Great food. Good beer selection. Terrible patio. Last year Mosquitos &, later, bees — this year(& it’s only March, mind you), Mosquitos, in troves, already. Just no.thank.you. Hire someone to spray the(small) swamp under your property. K Thx.

Atmosphere was ok. It was really dark. We ordered the shepards pie. Oh my! It was delicious. Loved it!!! The service wasn’t all that. But it’s kind of silly to have only two waitress’ on st Patrick’s day. The prices aren’t too bad. Depending on what you order…

What a letdown. I had no options in picking this place. I checked in and saw the reviews and prayed for the best. Cute pub, we are seated immediately and the waitress was quick to get the first round of drinks to the table and that’s pretty much where the terrible service started. Our waitress was very young and sweet, but her inexperience was painful. She would forget everything. There was not a single item we asked for that she didn’t forget at least once. She told my friend the dish that he was ordering was going to be massive… no…it was tiny. She had no idea what many of the drinks on their menu were. Final issue with me was she wouldn’t keep my water glass full. I’m not much of a drinker on the regular so I drink an alcoholic beverage, then a glass of water… this was a lost concept on her. I got the ribeye sandwich that came with French dip. It was good, but I asked for a different side than fries and it never came after I asked her 3 times. God love ‘em here. If you’re forced to come here like I was, keep it simple for the simple-minded staff.
