Bojangles

I’ve eaten here very often (in fact, I’m about to go there now) and I’ve never truly been dissatisfied. Let’s remember this is fast food and mumbling over a few crumbs on the trays, table, etc. is just silly. There will be a few minor messes and this establishment is the cleanest I’ve come to find.
One small complaint is sometimes the sweet tea tastes bitter and strange as if not made properly; maybe left out too long? Most times the tea is perfect.

I have eaten at this Bojangles many times over the years and until now I have never been disappointed. We usually use the drive thru but the kids and I decided to take the time and dine in. I should have turned and walked out when I glanced the sanitation grade 93.3. Shame on me again for staying after seeing the condition of the food being kept warm under the hoods at the front counter. Everything just looked un-​tended. We got tea with our combos and I was bothered that lemon wedges had been added (I’ve seen a special on tv about the bacteria on fast food lemons). Yuk.
The ding room made things even worse. The carpeting looked as if someone had turned toddlers loose with biscuits. We then noticed that one of the trays our food was served on was dirty and cracked. The bad thing is while we were there the cleaning lady was on the floor. She swept a small section. Then walked away and came back with a dirty grey looking mop and mopped a bit before she disappeared again. She came back out and pulled a rag that looked as if she had cleaned tires with that she proceeded to wipe a table with just before she dropped it on the floor.
Oh yeah. The food. I love the seasoning Bojangles puts on their fries but it was so much sodium on these dried out picnic fries it was almost unbearable. The wretched lemon laced tea was not sweet the the Bojangles tea I know, it was sour and stale tasting. The chicken supremes, the Bo-​Berry biscuit, and Cajun filet biscuits were not bad. The dine-​in conditions in that Bojangles just made it hard to swallow. Did I mention the flies that were moonwalking across our table???
