Considering the level of expertise of the stylists, this salon charges way too much for their so-so services.

I just moved to the area from San Diego over the summer and had been getting my hair done in Vegas while I am there on business(which is a lot). Still, it had been way too long and I needed something done before embarking upon my first business trip of the year. The hair was looking baaaad. I was flying out on Saturday, January 2nd and January 1st a lot of salons were closed. Since Brieshi is in the mall –score!- they were open on New Years Day. Alas it’s usually a warning if a salon is in the mall, but I’d walked past and they seemed legit. I was also really happy they use Aveda products. I make an appointment online and I am quoted pricing via their online system. Their system required a $ 65 deposit. Now, I understand no-shows suck, but in South Beach, FL(where I am from), San Diego and in Vegas I have never once encountered a deposit to see a stylist. I could have met her and decided she wasn’t the one for me, but I was already $ 65 in. Usually the consult is free, they give you pricing(because really an internet program cannot do that) THEN you decide. That should have been red flag #1 for me. I see Courtney who is VERY nice and we go over what I want. I show her photos and I tell her I want to be lighter. Not bleached and not a peroxide look, but about two shades LIGHTER. I leave darker… and I was charged for toner; which is supposed to be used to a) either to fix something that went wrong or b) to give the desired color after lifting — I wasn’t going red or strawberry blonde, so I wonder why she did this instead of a gloss. The color looks fine, it is definitely better than how I walked in, but it wasn’t what I asked for and Courtney should have quoted me costs BEFORE getting started if they were going to be different than what I was emailed. Oh — and I was charged $ 55 for a trim. Not a cut/style — a trim. When I checked out my bill would have been $ 255, however they applied my $ 65 deposit and a $ 20 first time customer«coupon». That still seems pretty steep to me. And yes, I have paid much more for color/cuts, however, in this instance the price was not commensurate with the services I received. Alas, my search for an actually GOOD salon in Northwest Arkansas continues. I find their practice unethical; if she was doing«custom color» on me and the pricing was to be higher than she should have notified me of such. The screaming child no one attempted to comfort just added to the ambience… My rating: thumbs down on this one.

The worst experience of eye brows waxing. The person literally took off a chunk of my eyebrows and said sorry. I have never ever experienced such bad experience ever. On top of that she forgot to wax a part of my upper lips. It was like a joke. Will never ever go there and will never ever recommend anyone for eye brows or upper lips waxing.

This place is a joke and the customer service is awful. I had made an appointment to have my hair colored and cut a few days before going in. I showed up on time and was told the girl that was coloring my hair was running 10 – 15 minutes late. I sat there for over an hour waiting and no one said anything else or apologized for leaving me there for so long. I understand running a little late, but an hour is excessive. While sitting in their waiting area I called another salon and was able to get in right away and they did a great job. As I walked out I told the girl to cancel my appointment, and she had the nerve to ask if I wanted to reschedule. I declined and informed them I didn’t want anymore of my time wasted. The manager, who was standing right there, said nothing, no apology, no acknowledgement, nothing. People’s time is valuable, and they deserve to be treated better. Don’t waste your time on this place

I just got my hair cut there and it was awful. I brought several pictures and asked the lady if she thought my hair would do something like the picture. She glances at the picture and is like…“um sure.” So she asks me about the length and I tell her I want about an inch below my collar bones. She cut it too short. Doesn’t even hit my collar bones. But the worst was my bangs. I told her I wanted bangs just below my eyebrows. Not too thick and not too thin cause thin bangs can be stringy. So she chops them too thick and VERY blunt just at my eyebrows. Then she proceeds to try to feather them which made them even shorter. Worst haircut ever. They gave me 10 dollars off the price of the cut and had the nerve to say it didn’t look that bad and that bangs grow quick. The girl(Courtny) even said she should have cut my bangs longer and then feathered them to keep them from being too short. What a revelation! Don’t they teach that in beauty school?!! I’ll never go back. Stay away. From my experience the training and customer service was lacking!

I have been going here for the last year to have facials and chose this salon because they use Aveda products. My facials have always been very relaxing. Jessica is great, she is really knowledgeable about the products and takes her time to explain what she’ll be using and why. She customizes each time you go based on how your skin is feeling, any issues and how you’d like to feel when you leave. I always choose relaxed! Jess not only does a nice facial but also includes a wonderful hand and foot massage. I would definately recommend her. The reason I did not give more stars is because there is some inconsistency with some business basics i.e. my appointment has been messed up a couple times, the cover ups are old and need to be replaced, and they need better bolster pillows for facials and massages(to keep pressure off your back).

My appt was 4 weeks ago and I have been unhappy with my hair since. It was the first time I had been to Brieshi so I didn’t ask for a particular stylist and they scheduled me with Katie. All I needed was a very simple trim. I have mid-neck length hair with lots of wave/curl that I blow dry into a basic style. I asked her to take off a full half inch all over. Half way through the process I felt she wasn’t taking off the requested amount and asked her about it. She told me she was taking half an inch off. Not one to argue I let it go. We were leaving on vacation a few days later and I have been traveling ever since we got back. I kept feeling that one side was longer than the other but with the waves and curl I blamed it on my hair… until today when I did some measuring. One side is a good half inch longer! I called the salon and asked to have Katie correct the issue and was told I could pay full price for another cut but that was it. Two weeks past the original cut date is as far out as they would go for a «correction». Needless to say I won’t be back.

Worst hair salon I have ever been to! The stylist I had was supposedly a senior stylist and I wanted two shades of blonde highlights on top and my underneath section left dark. Well I guess this was too complicated because she got an attitude with me saying this was impossible to do even though I have had it done before. Four hours and $ 300 later my hair had been slightly trimmed with one color of golden brown highlights in a weird pattern when I just wanted blonde. I received an e-mail asking how my experience was, I politely replied expressing my dissatisfaction and have never heard back. For that much time and money, I expect much better quality and service! Do not waste your time!

Stylists here are in dying need of experience cutting hair. In addition to the poor job they did cutting my husbands hair($ 32), their customer service didn’t make up for it. After telling the stylist Lauren that his hair needed some improvements, she asked us to wait 20 minutes to get it fixed and upon our return they were unable to accommodate. They asked if we could wait another hour or come back another day instead of having the stylist fix it, which probably wouldn’t have taken more than 10 minutes. She didn’t even have the nerve to come out and speak to us personally and apologize for asking us to come back and being unable to keep to her word. This salon spa wants to be high end and coming from San Francisco, this place is far beyond that. They are trying way to hard to be something they are not. Our experience here was horrid and they should provide their employees to have more training and skills cutting and styling hair and more importantly they need to extensively educate their staff about customer service. We won’t be coming back here that’s for sure.

First, we went in the salon to get hair straightened without loosing the volume. We were suggested something and the procedure was performed. It cpst us around 190 $, including the tip. After couple of days, we realized that was not we wanted and a wrong procedure was performed on the hair. The salon gave an in store credit. We were happy and now that the salon knows what we asked for, we said we are interested in the correct procedure. That would cost more, but we were OK as thats what we wanted. They showed us on google how the hair looks before and after. We went home, saw the video of the procedure on youtube and informed the stylist about the usage of Henna 2 months back and also usage of cocunut oil and a dove shampoo, for which she said that it would not be a problem. we went ahead with the procedure called Aveda Retexturzing System. It was supposed to straighen the hair for 6 – 12 months. But after having head bath after 4 days after procedure, the hair was still curly, though little less that what it was before. We called the salon back to talk to manager, but she did not respond back. So we went back in person and met the stylist and she said that Henna might be the reason for the product to not work. We were surprised with the reasoning, as before the procedure, we oursleves asked about henna applied 2 montha back and if that would cause any problem… At that time they said, No problem and thats the whole reason we went ahead with the procedure. On the whole, had i left this issue at the first mistake, it would have cost be 190 $, but after the second mistake, it cost be around 340 – 350 $, including tips. Management called me after few days to let me know that they would not refund any money or store credit and we have to live with it. We felt cheated and misinfromed and were asked to shell out around 350 $ of our heard earned money for something that does not work and management wants to wash their hands off. we(me and my wife) feel we were duped of our money. For the effect that the product worked a little bit, i can pay probaly a 100 $(i am being good to them) just for their time etc, but not 350 $.

I have always had a great experience at Brieshi. I have been going to Lacey for over a year now and I have always been very pleased with my cut and color. I never feel like anyone is trying to push something on me or trying to sell me on something.

I went to this salon a couple of months ago and was horrified by the experience. So much so that I am just now able to revisit the nightmare and share my experience with you. I’m pretty cheap so I don’t like to get my hair cut out here in california and find the prices back home much much cheaper. I’m not so cheap that I’ll go to Walmart or Supercuts but i’m just not down with blowing a hundred bucks just to get a trim. Through the advice of a friend i gave Brieshi a shot. I called and booked an appointment with Lacey after checking out their website. She looked nice and seemed like she had been doing hair for sometime. I went to the salon. It’s nice and in a great location. My sister went with me and was super pumped when they offered her some wine. I guess I should have had some as well but I thought so far so good. I brought in a photo out of a magazine with me of a really simple layered and long style. Nothing too difficult I’m not really that crazy with my hair anyways. I showed Lacey the photo and told her how long I wanted my hair. She took one look at the photo and threw it down on her table never to look at it again. Maybe that should have been my first clue. She then began to butcher my hair. When I got home I noticed that one my hair was WAY shorter than I had asked for(it STILL isn’t the right length months and months later), one side was LONGER than the other(!) and it was all one layer!(this causes my hair to make a weird curl under much like a «mom’s» haircut. I don’t wear mom jeans and i don’t want a mom haircut either. I’M STILLINMYTWENTIESFORPETE’S SAKE. We called and complained and refrused to let her touch my hair. This is where the story starts to take a turn for the better. Ashley was put on the job of fixing my disaster of a haircut and also easing very upset customers. I felt really sorry for her to have to be put in such an awkward situation. I went in to the salon to have my hair fixed the next day. Lacy confronted me at the door and asked what was wrong i told her and she began to argue with me about the length and the cut trying to ensure me that she had given me the cut i asked for. So the summary to all that is, Ashley is absolutely AMAZING. I would fly home just to have Ashley do my hair any day. Ashley is the ONLY reason I’m giving this place 2 stars instead of one. THANKSAGAINASHLEYYOUROCK! oh also my hair turned out super cute thanks to Ashley, while a million miles too short(not Ashley’s fault) but still cute.

I’ve been here once for a brow wax, when I was SUPER desperate and didn’t want to drive down to Fayetteville to see my aesthetician. It was nice enough, but one of those places where they don’t really have a place to DO brow waxes, so they just make you sit at the shampoo sink and stick your head in. Look, if I’m paying salon prices to get my brows waxed, I want more than craning my neck back in a shampoo sink, you know what I mean? They also don’t use any witch hazel or ANYTHING to even clean off any residual stickiness from the wax afterwards. Just send you out into the world with bright-ass red eyebrows with little sticky bits. No thanks. The girl did a really good job though, so I won’t complain too much.
