Absolutely loving this taqueria! In a newish shopping center in Rogers, the place is large, bright, and very clean. The typical chips and salsa offering is ok, but they have BEER, so yay! I order my Negro Modelo, then have to decide on something from the menu. I usually order too much, because it all sounds so good. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Everything I have had — tacos, sopes, and gorditas have been great. The normal offerings for those are asada, carnitas, al pastor, adobada, barbacoa, picadillo, chorizo, pollo, buche, and lengua. Between the hubby and I we’ve tried everything but the chicken and the buche(one is too boring, the other one pretty darned adventurous!) They bring you a hot dried red pepper salsa and a milder green salsa for your meal. They will, of course, make burritos, quesadillas, or tortas with any of meat, and also offer chimichangas, enchiladas, and some mariscos(coctel, ceviche, or fried whole tilapia). One of these days I’ll get around to some other things, but breakfast is next on my list, because sometimes you just need some chilaquiles in your life. The business is open at 9 a.m. every day, closing at 9 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. on the weekends. Saturday and Sunday they have the weekend staples — pozole, caldo de res, and menudo, You can also do carnitas or barbacoa by the pound. My only disappointment was that mama hadn’t made flan when I was there last. Next time!
