Be careful and do NOT spend your $$$ here.
This place has awful customer service. They do not return your telephone calls, do not have accurate phone numbers, and do not show up for appointments.
I highly recommend that you do not waste your time and spirit on this place. I spent a considerable amount of time getting a refund from Living Social. The discounted price was not worth the hassle or agony.
Trust me, it’s not worth your precious time.

Horrible service. Their phone doesn’t work, they lie, and can’t get to the third floor to do carpets. They are a mess.

I bought a living social voucher for a carpet cleaning service. I tried numerous times over 2 months to contact them. It is impossible to get a hold of them. I called Eco Carpert one more time this week and got a message that this number is longer in service. What a scam! Luckily Living Social is willing to offer me a refund. Never again will I purchase a carpet cleaning from Groupon/​Living Social.

Similar experience, using AmazonLocal. I’ve been apposed to Groupon and Groupon clones since they first arrived. They are a cancer to small business, as they do not foster loyal customers or long term relationships. They encourage non-​sustainable business practices.
That said, I was looking for a local business that performed environmentally safe carpet cleaning and thought I’d give them a try. I made several attempts both by phone and email to schedule an appointment with them. This went on for two months. They never got back to me.
So yeah, this place is probably already out of business. It’s sad, really. I’m almost certain they had decent reviews prior to this. I could be mistaken though.

I am waiting for them to show up for our 3pm appt. so far they are 45 minutes late so i thought i would check their Unilocal reviews and now i dont want them to show up because i am scared that if they do, they will ruin my carpets. I purchased a living social deal and have been trying to make this appt for over a month. I did get a lady on the phone but she was rude and told me to email her. I ALREADY HAD. I am hoping they dont show and i will get a refund from Living Social. I have had great deals through them so far, great for small businesses, but it I realize how much it is worth to do some research before purchasing!
Update: i got an email at 4pm «the tech just left San Fran». I waited. .. nothing. At 7pm i got an email «Please be advise the carpet guy will have to clean you early on the Morning 8:00».
I have already got a refund back from living social. No one should have to deal with a business like that. One star is an overstatement!

Tried to schedule an appointment — never returned my calls!

Bought the deal through living social. Had to call several times to get an appointment and the woman that answered said I should call back later and couldn’t even write down my phone number because she was too busy. They scheduled me about a MONTH out and then they never showed up. I had moved all my furniture around, vacuumed, etc. to get ready for the appointment. Ughh — SOOO frustrating. I have called 3 times today and they never answered nor called me back.

they apparently need the money and customers if they are using living social discount site. would be nice if they had some real customer service!

ditto everyone’s reviews. avoid any groupon or living social deals. i’ve requested to living social not to do business with them. poor customer service. finally was able to get an appt and THEY NEVER CAME!!!
never have i ever experienced that before. not even with comcast or plumbers! they’ll at least call to reschedule.

Absoulutely do not use them. Waste of time at best.

Stay away. They are TERRIBLE. IN fact if there was a FRAUD Setting or ZERO setting I would give them that. They don’t return emails /​phone calls and are a SCAM.

I had two properties done by Calvin and Keith of Eco Fresh. Price was right. They were right on their appointment time for both houses, did a great job of spotting and cleaning and put in quite a bit of time at it. Hard workers, pleasant and polite, stayed busy! Educated me about my floor coverings and were generally a pleasure.
I’ll have these guys out again!

I bought a voucher from Living Social for this company’s housecleaning service, and boy do I regret it! It was way too cheap to be true. Horrible customer service and rude on the phone! I had an 8:30 appointment with them this morning (I’d cleared my entire morning for it), and when they didn’t show up after 20 minutes, I called. They told me they had to cancel because they couldn’t make it (they were in Palo Alto at the time; I’m in SF). They weren’t planning to call me about it either. I run a service business too and would be out of business if I treated my clients this way. Do not hire this sham of a cleaning business!

This company does not even deserve one star. I purchased a coupon through living social for their house cleaning and carpet cleaning. I emailed to schedule and never heard back from them. I called a few times and finally got a hold of the owner (who is just a naturally bitter sounding person) and scheduled an appointment. I got a call back at 9PM the night before they were supposed to be at my house and they canceled. I rescheduled for the following Saturday… and they never showed up! I spent time preparing my house and I made plans to be home, so it was a waste of time. Absolutely disappointed!

I second both previous reviews. From the first day that I called them I sensed something off. Today I stayed home from work and had a noon-​3pm appointment with Ecofresh and I called them to make sure they know where to park, and they said «sorry we can not come, we are having difficulty in San Francisco because of parking» I have a spot for them in my garage and they said, «well sorry we can’t come today».
This is the first group deal I have purchased and it will caution me for buying deals for small business’s in the future who are not equip to handle costumers.

I could not agree more with Barbara B’s previous review. I purchased a voucher (through Amazon) and was stymied at every attempt to use it.
Phone calls NEVER returned; I always had to initiate a followup. Booking an appt. was a hassle: deceptive info re available dates. Inaccurate info given for inability to book sooner: «It takes 4 – 5 business days for us to know whose credit cards are valid and whose are not.» Rubbish! In the end they refused to clean my carpets and hung up on me. In hard times, businesses need to do everything possible to attract /​retain customers. This company demonstrated total contempt for the customer at every level. If only I could give 0 stars.

They were scheduled to come to our house between 8:30 and 9:30 this morning and still have not arrived. It is now 3:10pm. They have not called, will not answer the phone and will not email us back. Incredibly frustrating. DO NOT use this company. They are unprofessional and who knows if they will even show up.

STAY AWAY… trying to make an appointment and they don’t return my calls… Will try to get money back from living Social… Total waste of money and totally dissatisfied… the first negative review I have ever written on Unilocal

I found this company to be extremely unprofessional. They rarely answered the phone when I called, I had to call 6 times to make an appointment. I left a message each time, and my call was never returned. I found that to be incredibly frustrating.
Once I had made an appointment, the cleaner was 40 minutes late. I had left work to let them in, and ended up having to just leave the door unlocked since I couldn’t stay and wait 40 minutes. I don’t think that they would have shown at all if I hadn’t called. I specifically requested a receipt, and upon calling to double check if they had left me a receipt, they had not. The cleaner acted annoyed that I wanted one, asked me why I needed one, and finally delivered one.
I would not recommend using this company to clean your carpets, they are unprofessional.

I’m not sure what happened with jennifers experience to make her think this was terrible. I’m shocked how anyone could say this about them! They are the sweetest couple ever! And my carpets look fantastic. The difference with them is that they actually get on there hands and knees and scrub the carpets by hand instead of just going over them with a machine and calling it good! Best customer service I have ever experienced. They even spent extra time on one particularly difficult stain and didn’t even charge us! Hands down best cleaning service for there very modest prices. Would never go anywhere else again! And when It came to communicating with them they were on it always received an email back within a half hour! Trust me and go with them because I’ve never seen my carpets look so amazing and we’ve had them cleaned before by other places. They look brand new! :D
