I love the pour-over. It’s a good environment for studying, though probably because this place isn’t so well known. I wonder whether I’d like to keep the knowledge of this place to myself, or tell people about it to the point that the place is too full for studying. On a different note, it’s difficult to justify coming here to study during the week because it closes at 4pm, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays it closes at 3pm. I expect to come here on weekends for study time. I recommend the Ethiopian pour-over for those who love the taste of black coffee.

Came here due to the good reviews — wanted something quick to eat and drink. The girl making my coffee forgot to make it, so 5 – 10 minutes later when I walked up to the counter she realized and didn’t apologize. The girl making our food wasn’t wearing gloves and touched the bread and food she was making us(ham and cheese croissant, and a lox bagel). I was disappointed in the quality of our food and my coffee drink, which ended up tasting just like milk instead of a hazelnut latte. We are traveling so we probably won’t go here again but I don’t recommend it anyway, especially if they aren’t using proper food safety.

Terrible food Terrible coffee They just warm things up or toast them. The coffee is expensive which I don’t mind but it’s super week.

Coffee was great, all fair trade organic brands, and the accoutrements were abundant. The atmosphere was fairly quiet, but with good music. A local artist was in there hanging her work and it looked good. All in all, solid local place to drink coffee, maybe get some work done and relax. 5 stars no doubt.

Went early on a Sunday and enjoyed an Americano and pourover coffee. Staff was very friendly and helpful and let my husband choose the type of pourover coffee he wanted. Coffee was good. I would definitely visit here again.

Service was fast and chai was great. Didn’t try the breakfast but it looked good. There was a mix of breakfast burritos bagels, some other baked goods and breaky sandos. Don’t think they have gluten free options but didn’t ask.

This is a local coffee shop located in a strip mall right next to a golf course, with a focus on locally made art. Art quality subject to the beholder of course. I liked most of the paintings they had up, but this months artist multimedia work needs… more. Especially if they expect people to pay for it. By people i mean me, just my opinion of course, one persons trash is anothers treasure. There’s plenty of parking due to the strip mall. There’s some comfy plushy chairs and small couch right up front(by the parking entrance), but most of the seating is outside on the patio thingy facing the putting green. There are two entrances-the one by the golf course putting green and the one facing the parking lot. The cashier and serving area is closer to the golf course entrance. Most of the inside is long and narrow, dominated by the counter area. They went for a bright airy look with clean white walls and plenty of natural lighting. There is a small book and game section. The surprise here is the stock of Spanish language graphic novels. I don’t know how/why they are there, but if you read Spanish and like comics there ya go. The staff when I was there were super helpful, friendly and quick, but the best thing here is the coffee. I’ts pretty awesome. The mocha, espresso and house coffee options are superb. The have a limited breakfast menu, and the usual range of bagels, croissants and pastries. Coffee and a sweet will run around five dollars or a bit less depending on what you get. The WiFi is free and faster then I expected, enough to get some work done for sure. There’s a steady stream of business, mostly from the golf course but also from the parking area. Usually the artist responsible for the wall deco is on site. The only downside was the older lady who appeared to be related to either the artist or one of the owners/workers having a 30 minute screaming argument(on the phone no less) with her boyfriend/lover/drug supplier/useless male appendage. Always great to be an unwilling part of those spectacles. Not really anything to hold against the business really however, and with any luck at all you won’t have anything to do with this on your visits. So far this is the best coffee I’ve found in rohnert park.

Their cold brew coffee packed a punch! I got the Sweet New Orleans and was hyped for the rest of the day. I tried to order a bagel with lox but they had run out of salmon so I got a green burrito instead. The burritos appear to be premade and microwaved — still tasty. The green burrito has potato, green chili, onion, and egg. They have a loyalty program and you keep your card in a filing system at the café instead of keeping it in your wallet. I haven’t seen that since Santa Cruz. The place seemed clean and the barista was attentive and friendly.

How stinking cute was Honey Badger! In for the night and stopped by on our walk from the hotel. Super awesome, happy, fun loving staff with great coffee(KEY)! We will be back next month and I can wait to have a cute designed drink and high end tasting coffee again!

The barista was on their phone and being very loud the entire time I was there. There wasn’t music playing like other coffee shops so hearing the baristas phone conversation wasn’t pleasant. Latte was very good. Upset I didn’t get latte art like from the pics other helpers posted. Lox bagel was ok. I’d cone back for their latte.

Honey Badger don’t care bout your review! Quality non New York bagel though. Not too fat and doughy, boiled before baking like the real bagels it imitates, all in all a good bagel right here in my town. A+ guys.

I was pleasantly surprised that there was a good coffee house near the hotel I was staying at(DoubleTree). It’s always fabulous when you don’t have to subject yourself to Starbucks(ick!). These people know how to make a mean drip and espresso drink. According to my cousins the breakfast sandwiches were pretty tasty. Support true local coffee shops!

So this is a small chain shop with better than great coffee. It is a fun spot to hang out with the regulars. I’m local and its a daily grind, wifi, friendly chat house. It works for me !!

The coffee was alright, and the environment was okay, but the lady with the long dark hair who was working the counter made me feel very unwelcome and judged. I even tried to engage her in conversation about riding, being a fellow horseman myself. The other dark haired gal was nice enough, but the over powering bad vibes and feelings I was getting from the other woman, I don’t think I’ll be going back. Too bad too, I’m a great regular customer and I liked the location and I know a few great musicians who could have done a few nice gigs there. I’m drive the extra distance to A’roma Roasters in Santa Rosa. 2 stars because the coffee was pretty good.

Great small local town café ambiance. The price vs quality are very reasonable. The service is very friendly style. The food taste is ok. Great outside seating area too, overlooking the golf field — perfect on a great sunny and warmer day.

I wasn’t really impressed. The food options are very limited. Bagels made elsewhere, boxed oatmeal, premade eggs, limited spread options for the bagels(just ordinary cream cheese, butter etc). I had a cappuccino, which was actually very good. The interior is really what brought this place down. Limited seating, kind of plain walls, a big ugly commercial sized refrigerator in plain sight. It feels a lot more like a deli than a café, not somewhere I would want to spend time and get work done.

Nice little coffee house! We stopped here on our way out to go wine tasting. The service was great and the coffee was great. I ordered a Red Eye and it was honestly one of the better ones I’ve had. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a shot!(Espresso Joke)

Been traveling back and forth to rohnert park for work these last couple of weeks and it’s been messing with my sleeping patterns. When that happens, I try and use coffee to wake me up in the mornings! Was recommended to go to this place because I was craving a bagel with lox, and some good ol cup of joe. And it was on the way to work. I definitely was not disappointed! Will come again for sure. The friendliness of the staff is worth the visit!

Stopped by to pick up a coffee and oatmeal for breakfast. The service was fast and nice. The coffee and oatmeal was pretty standard. It wasn’t anything to write home about, but it did the job for that morning. In the area, there is not much to choose from and I didn’t want to spend $ 15 for breakfast at the hotel.

Honey Badger or Golden Bean as it’s labeled is a narrow out strip/slice of real estate in a commercial center. some inside seating. brew: french roast(m.2.40) «equator» brand? –smooth, not robust, not much body –came from thermos, got the last drops out of it. 3.5 stars drips: –coffee may have tasted bolder at first brew as the last drops, it was still ok, not stale.

My hotel had terrible coffee and expensive breakfasts. I wish I found Golden Bean sooner during my week long trip. I tried a variety of different kinds of coffee while visiting — espresso, New Orleans, iced, etc. It was all great! One of my favorites was the iced coffee because they cooled it properly. I hate watered down iced drinks. I watched my drink being prepared and the technique was right on. Even when back at the hotel at my conference, the drink held up and tasted wonderful! They don’t have an extensive menu here but it offered a break from the overpriced food at the hotel. Simple breakfast sandwiches, prepared ahead of time, and reheated. It did the trick. The service was excellent at all times. I encountered at least 3 different staff members in my time there and each one was friendly and efficient. I appreciated talking to some locals on my visit and found our conversations pleasant and informative.

I love this place! The coffee is amazing and they are so family friendly. My daughter and nieces and nephews invade the place every Saturday morning and they are greeting with smiles and coloring books. It is great to have this wonderful shop right down the road.
