Usually I love this place it’s nice and close we could walk and the choices were always great however we went yesterday and unfortunately it was closed at 6pm though the hours are definitely later than that. Unsure if they are closed for the summer until school is back in session or forever.

I love going to Moxie Java before heading to the office. Bob makes a great double mocha with whipped cream(espresso borgia). I get an English muffin sandwich and a coffee and sit there check stuff online while I have my breakfast. Over the years, the other things I’ve tried are the mint chip frozen yogurt and sorbet fizz. The sorbet fizz is great on a hot summer day.

This is a locally owned coffee and lunch shop, The owner’s been around forever, and has a great if sarcastic sense of humor. He is also in the habit of saying things just as he see’s them. No holding back for political reasons. Ask him about the time he cussed out the mayor. It’s a great story. His coffee products-latte’s, espresso’s chai’s etc are rock solid. The hot dogs are likewise pretty dang good and price wise are a great deal. I’m not sure that the ice cream is tcby anymore, regardless since this place has been in the coffee and ice cream business since forever I suspect that they might be very good products. This is located right next to a high school and during the lunch times it’s overrun with teenagers. If you are grumpy and/or old you might plan to come around the lunch hour when it’s more mellow.

In deperate need of ice cream so while doing our laundry next door decided to give this place another try. Walked in to an employee on a labtop, greeted her but did not get the same warm welcome. She seemed irritated like we were disturbing her Facebook time. This isn’t the first time the staff at Moxies has been less than cordial but this also might explain the lack of customers. Will continue to give our services to chains like Coldstone and Baskin Robbins where theres no shortage of great customer service and they dont cheat you on what you order. FYI to owner read your prior reviews, your staff is closing your business quicker than you think.

Love this place! Friendly service at an amazing price. Best vanilla iced coffee I’ve had and half the price of Starbucks. Thank you for being awesome!

Free wifi and a clean seating area. The store is very nice inside and the staff is friendly. I was most impressed by the coffee: I had the classic dark blend and it was outstanding. On top of that it’s under $ 2 for the large cup. The owner also supports the local student run organizations from Sonoma State University and I appreciate it. Support fully reciprocated

I wish I could give higher than a 5-Star rating. Bob is an awesome guy! Always chipper, no matter what. He is SUPER dedicated to his shop– is their from opening to close a lot(unless he is umpiring a little league/high school baseball game.) Amazing fro-yo, fantastic polish, great Italian soda.

He has been in the neighborhood for years, just name change maybe. I have lived in the neighborhood for 38 years before this strip mall. I went in for yogurt because most of the yougurt places in RP out of business or lousy self serve yogurt. Not sanitary. He had only 3 or maybe four choices and the usual choc and vanilla. Got a tiny couple of tbs for my dog, a treat and a small for me with a topping. The cost was $ 5.93, what rip off. I should have just said no thanks, but got it and was mad at myself so hence the review. I have paid no more than 3 bucks plus change and gotten more at the other two self service, maybe that’s why is was cheaper. I did not find him pleasant. I will not go back and you can bet after 38 years in neighborhood, most of my neighbors will get the story of the cost. I realize, his only trade may be the young high school kids across the street, but how can they afford his prices. I guess being a Senior citizen it doesn’t count with him. I do want to say, his yogurt tasted more like ice cream and gave me a weak stomach all day. where the others didn’t do that. It was good, but I can’t eat ice cream.

Bob’s is great, awesome service every morning from the owner himself. We love our coffee and breakfast sandwitches, where he actually cracks the eggs fresh as hes making it. I will support my local coffee shop for sure! Go see BOB!

OK, wanted a coffee drink while doing laundry. Gal behind counter was very nice and very nice to the girl she was training. They made my skinny vanilla latte, then I discovered my debit card was missing. They offered to let me take the drink and come back to pay them. Yeah, more nice Northern Californians. RP is only 44,000 people. I drove 1 mile home, only to find my card stuck to my Otterbox! Sweet people, and man, the mint chocolate chip was ridiculously good!!!

My daughter and I went in to try their froyo for the first and last time. There was a girl there working alone and was not friendly at all. She did not smile and greet us. I really felt out of place. I would have just walked out if it weren’t for my daughter. We ask for a small chocolate icecream. Got it, paid for it right away. I actually was expecting to do self served like most Froyo places do. I asked about it, the girl replies«nope I’ll do it.». Ok, well I guess you don’t like my money and I will take my business elsewhere.

Bait and switch. False advertising. We went to TCBY because my family was in Rohnert Park and we love TCBY yogurt and are still mourning the closing of the Piner Road TCBY store. Except the yogurt was only passable and I was puzzled. And no white chocolate mousse, a TCBY staple. The owner sat and dissed TCBY management while we ate, blah blah blah and said he was changing the store name. So then I said, «Then this isn’t TCBY yogurt?» «No, he replied.» Indeed, I contacted TCBY and he hasn’t been associated with them for two years. And yet the TCBY logo is plastered everywhere. I will never go there again — I don’t like being deceived. I will take my business elsewhere.

Who said diamonds and pearls were a girl’s best friend? Definitely, it was a girl out of touch with reality. I would say it is more like coffee and frozen yogurt, and luckily, this place has both! YAY! This exquisite little jewel is in a mini shopping center between a delicious, «Sandwich Spot»(that’s the name!) and your average run-of-the-mill liquor store. If you’re not up for jumping spot to spot, fret not! This place also serves hot dogs, hot dogs, coffee, and fro yo, oh my! The fro yo flavors are your typical, along with the toppings. There is a yummy selection of ice cream for those full-fat avengers. Diamonds and pearls? Pfffffft… I’ll take my rainbow sprinkled, chocolate-covered lips, with a café latte on the side any day.

Bob(the owner) is a good guy. The place is what you’d expect from an ice cream joint. The menu is a little more rounded which includes hot dogs, coffee, etc. The place is more personable than some of the other chains in town. Definitely worth a stop.

Absolute lameness. I was up in Rohnert Park for work a week or two ago and looking to grab a quick coffee during my lunchbreak. This place looked local so I thought I would give it a shot, and grab a cup. Well, nevermind! So when I go in there, I have to pee really bad. I start looking for the bathroom, which appears to be in the back. I’m heading back there and this manager guy comes running across the store all«EXCUSEME! WHEREAREYOUGOING!?» With his panties all in a wad, and I told him I was looking for the bathroom and he’s like«WELLOURBATHROOMISFORPAYINGCUSTOMERSONLY!» So I tell him I was planning on getting a cup of coffee and he actually says«OH, YOUWEREPLANNINGONIT? WELLOURBATHROOMISONLYFORPAYINGCUSTOMERS» As if, I’m just putting him on so I can take a piss or something. Really? Are we all in third grade now? So I tell uptight manager man that I was planning on it, but now I’m starting to reconsider, and he says«WELLYOUCANJUSTGETOUTTHEN! I’M NOTGONNAGETIN A BATTLEWITHYOUOVERMYRESTROOMJUSTLEAVE!!» Which of course, I did. If I didn’t have to pee so bad I might have told him where to stick it, but alas, I only had a short break and was in dire need of my coffee, and aforementioned bathroom. I went to McDonalds and spent my money at the giant evil empire instead. But at least I wasn’t verbally assaulted for attempting to perform my natural bodily functions. Look man, I know your store is across the street from a school, but that’s not an excuse to treat potential customers with such disdain. Needless to say, next time I’m working in Rohnert Park I won’t be going here for my coffee, or anything else. Stay away.

Bob is one of the nicest guys around. I popped in the other day for a hot dog while I was waiting for a big load of bedding to dry at the near by laundry mat and struck up a conversation with him. he donates to lots of great programs locally. He has a ton of awesome thank you cards from kids who have come and done field trips and he is funny, and he thinks about and anticipates his customers needs. +1 star for all his community support +1 star for the fact that he has sweet AND dill relish. Bob you’re great. I wish you much continued success and I will see you sooner than later for another incredible hot dog.

Not only does the owner remind me of Dustin Hoffman, this place has the absolute best coffee in the world. I am seriously telling the truth. I stopped by here one morning because I used to live up the street and it was my day off, so I did the«day off ritual thing» and walked somewhere and made my morning productive and ended up here. I got some kind of bagel(which are good, and they have breakfast sandwiches now too) and then I asked for a coffee. Mr Hoffman(as I call him) politely handed me the cup and informed me it is self-serve, over in the corner. I paid my dues to the small business owner and walked to the corner of the shop, not expecting anything extraordinary. There, I saw a decaf blend, and a «Kona Island Blend.» I filled my medium-sized cup of coffee up with a Kona Island Blend, and Mr. Hoffman handed me some cream(he keeps it fresh in the fridge), and I put it in the coffee and mixed it up with some Splenda. I then grabbed a newspaper, and sat down at a table for a few moments. Because, obviously, I only read the newspaper as part of my «day off ritual» to make me feel like I’m retired or something equally fulfilling. I took a sip of the coffee, and the world disappeared. The entire world vanished — it faded to black, it ceased to exist, creation folded in upon itself, and the Universe had ended. This only lasted a few moments though, as God came back from vacation or something and the universe resumed, but it was at that moment I realized two things. I had tasted the sweet ambrosia of the heavens, and I would never find another cup of coffee as good as the«Kona Island Blend» from Moxie Java. With cream and Splenda, of course.
