Shear Cuts

I walked in this place in desperate need of a haircut with someone who could cut wavy to curly hair (they’re really hard to find). I waited a while but I was expecting that since I just walked in. Sue did an excellent job trimming all the dead ends off while keeping my long layers so my curls can work. I also wanted to change my part and she cut it so I could wear it on either side! I don’t dye my hair anymore but I’ll definitely be returning to cut my hair!

Erica is our hair stylist and my wife & I have been going to her for well over 3 years and are very, very satisfied. She has a great personality and is a master at her craft. We love the new salon and the friendly personalities of the other stylists. Michelle the new owner is doing a fabulous job. We hope everyone enjoys this salon as much as we do.

I am the type of girl who gets her hair done every 6 weeks to the day. And because of that, over the years I have become quite the hairdresser whore. I have never gone back to the same hairdresser more than once, until I came to Shear Cuts. Michelle, the owner is my primary hairdresser but I have had the other stylists in the salon cut and dye my hair as well. I always leave happy! Prices are very reasonable and fair, the salon is a happy clean place, and the stylists are up to date. Try them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Went to shear cuts this morning to find that the original owner is back! Thank you Michelle for buying back the salon. Walked in to the beautiful, clean salon it once was. It was refreshing to see old familiar faces come back to the salon. Reading all the bad reviews won’t help you if you’re trying to make a decision on where to go. Go in and give it another try. You owe it to yourself. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Best cut and color for the best price.

I needed a hair cut fast and Michelle was very accommodating. She did a GREAT job and I will definitely be back!

I spent 3 years trying to find a great hair stylist when I moved to Rohnert Park… I finally gave up and decided that I needed to travel to a more upscale area if I wanted an amazing cut for my curly hair. But paying $ 100 a cut became too big a burden and so I finally took my husband’s advice and gave his hair dresser a try. Michelle, who very recently took over Shear Cuts, is absolutely fabulous. I «discovered»” her at a different location and then followed her to Shear Cuts. She is consistently amazing. I always walk out with a gorgeous cut and am so grateful to have found her. Her biggest downfall is that she way undercharges but most clients likely wouldn’t be upset by this.

I recently moved my mother up from San Diego. As you can imagine it was hard for her to make such a huge change, let alone find a new hairdresser she could trust. After bravely trying 5 different hairstylists in Santa Rosa where she lives I convinced her to come to Rohnert Park to give Michelle from Shear Cuts a try. She loved the cut. She loved the color and she loved Michelle. I was thrilled to see my beautiful 83 year old mom smiling. FYI her hair is challenging; thinning, straight. Michelle knocked it out of the park.

I went to shear cuts about 8 years ago and met Michelle and followed her ever since. That salon Has changed in so many good ways! New décor, new stylists that know all the new techniques! They are so many good people in there. It’s a fun environment and every one Is so nice. And They have amazing prices!!!

I’d like to start by saying that Shear Cuts has new ownership, so the two previous negative reviews do not reflect ownership by Michele. I have been getting my hair styled and colored by Michele for the past three years, and I followed her to her new salon here at Shear Cuts. I can’t speak for the other stylists in her salon as Michele is the only one that cuts my hair. She also cuts my grand daughters hair and she too only trusts Michele to cut her hair. Michele is very professional at what she does, respectful, courteous, and reasonably priced. She always asks if I want any changes in color, highlights or style and does a fantastic job. I’ve never had as many compliments on how nice my hair looks as I do now since Michele started styling my hair. I refer all of my friends and co-​workers to Michele’s salon. If you’re looking for a new stylist and you want a fantastic cut, new style, or color, I would recommend Michele. You will not leave her salon disappointed.

Shear Cuts is under new management and there are 5 new stylists. Renovations and improvements are happening, Salon is still up and running. Coupons and flyers are soon to be out with great color deals and cuts. New stylist are color specialist and working with new trends and styles. Come and visit us at shear cuts walk ins are welcome!

Loved the way Suzanne did my hair. She is super nice and listened to what I wanted. She offered to fix the highlights a few days later if I didnt end up liking it. Would definitely go back!

Worse haircut ever. Will never go back. They should of paid me for butchering my hair.

i must say that i have been going to erica for haircuts for years and she does an excellent job!

Not going to name names but I went to a lady there and was very sweet and added me in last second BUT she did a terrible job. I asked to go golden blonde and I now look like Ronald McDonald!!! I also got a ‘hair cut’ which looks so choppy. I’ve been to beauty schools and gotten better hair cuts and dye jobs. I’m going to go back so someone can hopefully fix it but after that I wont ever go back. I was always told spend the money on dye jobs and highlights and now i know why!

My friend and I had our hair cut here a while back. Maria was my hairdresser. She was HORRIBLE. She literally cut a straight line across my hair and was done in 10 minutes. She cut WAY shorter than I asked; same situation with my friend. I will never be back!
