My children are very happy here. The masters motivate them to work and try hard while teaching discipline and respect.

My son absolutely loves going to Taekwondo. He can’t get enough. Teaches children discipline, coordination, confidence, and keeps them in great condition. The instructors are great. KS Choi Taekwondo Center is a great place to train.

This is an amazing Taekwondo studio! If you want to train to become competitive in the Olympic Taekwondo scene or just come to work out and burn some calories, this is the place! I have been training here for 9 years now, and I have never been dissatisfied with what the studio has to offer. Grandmaster K.S. Choi, Master Danny Choi, and Master Emmanuel Soria, who each teach in their own ways, combine into a trio that teaches Taekwondo in the most effective way to teach students of all ages and skill levels. Grandmaster K.S. Choi still teaches the traditional style to discipline and harden his students, while Master Danny has a modern style approach to be patient, yet firm with students; this duo creates an effective teaching method that instills respect in the students, but just enough ease for them to not feel overwhelmed and stressed. Master Emmanuel is also extremely intelligent in the Olympic Sparring scene, and although he is a recent addition to the teaching staff, I have learned more about sparring from his lessons than anybody else. Even though students attend group classes, the amount of instructors and masters there often creates 1-on-1 time between students and instructors/masters within the group classes. The studio has a flexible teaching schedule, with beginner and advanced skill level classes everyday of the week(except Sundays). The studio also has dedicated sparring days, Poomsae days, advanced kicking days, cardio/conditioning days, etc. What makes this studio better than other Taekwondo studios is not the location, the low prices, or the resources they have, but it’s the people there. The studio attracts students who are interested in getting better and meeting others, and the masters are experienced and love teaching students, which in turn creates an excellent learning environment that is often hard to come by in the modern Taekwondo business atmosphere.

A great studio, that offers classes for students of all ages! Something that I think is interesting is the mix of teaching styles in the studio from multiple masters. Grandmaster K.S. Choi still brings a traditional approach and teaching style, with a lot of discipline, but Master Danny has a new school approach to properly teach students of all ages. Master Emmanuel also has his own approach, with emphasis on practical movement that comes from his experience in sparring. There is also good variety in the classes, with sparring-oriented days, cardio-oriented days, and poomsae-oriented days, so you are constantly being challenged in new ways. Overall, coming from someone who had earlier spent time at another studio in the area, I can say that K.S. Choi has a very progressive and diverse approach that still has respect for tradition, but is still open to teaching in a more modern style.

Great studio with excellent guidance from the Grandmaster himself, K.S. Choi. I believe that his son, Master Daniel is teaching almost all of the classes now but the Grandmaster is always around making sure things are in order. Let’s not forget to mention the other instructors who also assist with technique and form during the classes(Instructor Emmanuel is one of our favorites). My son started training at this studio when he was 3.5 years old and he LOVES it! Master Daniel is firm when need be but he is also patient and understanding. When dealing with 3 – 6 year olds it’s important to be flexible and not so rigid. He emphasizes discipline but also incorporates fun to keep the little ones engaged. But don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen him teaching the black belt class and he means business! If you’re looking for an activity that promotes respect, discipline, accountability and a healthy lifestyle(all while learning self defense), this is the place!!!

I have been training with coach Danny(Master Choi’s son) for 8 years now. This is one of the original local training studios. They have jiu jitsu classes here now too; I get great personal training with the coach, which is hard to get these days. Most jiu jitsu spots are packed, and the coaches don’t even know what your name is anymore. For the tae kwon do people, Master Choi’s credentials are very impressive! He has coach the Olympic team before plus I think he is the president of the tae kwon do association a as well. Great, well rounded place to train!
