Spyglass Property Inspections

We used Spyglass recently on the purchase of our home in the suburbs, and before that for our condo in the city. Ryan was very thorough. He found a number of issues we never would have even thought to check. In the case of the condo we were able to use the inspection to get the seller to fix some things before we moved in. It saved us a bunch of money. That was really appreciated.
If we ever move again, we’ll definitely use Spyglass.

So, I hired this company to inspect the condo I was going to purchase to determine if there were any problems that I should be made aware of before signing the papers. Now I understand that things break and need repair or replacing, but from the day I moved in the furnace did not work at all, the bathtub would not drain, the garbage disposal did not work, there was a leak behind the refrigerator causing significant damage. I would not hire these people again to inspect a pair of socks.

My condo is in Chicago, so I wasn’t sure if they worked in the city, but it was not an issue. Ryan Foley did my condo inspection. From our initial conversation, I could tell that he was thorough and professional. He gave me a full review of what would be included in the inspection, the cost, and what to expect. He was prompt on the morning of the inspection. Before the inspection started, he gave me a full overview of what he would be checking and how he was going to inspect each part of the condo. Any time he found something, he came to get me to show me what the problem was and how it could be fixed. He also gave me a full explanation of my electric, furnace, and water heater. It was amazing at how well he was able to explain things to me, considering I can barely hang a photo on my wall. This is the second inspection I have had done, and I truly regret that I didn’t find this company for the first.
