Like all Bruster’s, this place offers really good ice cream at prices that show just how proud they are! This particular location makes it easy to forget that you’re spending $ 6 or so on a sundae, though, because the folks who work here are just so friendly. On a recent balmy evening, I enjoyed a frozen treat while sitting on one of the plentiful wooden benches with a friend, and even my dog lucked out. The extremely nice girl behind the counter offered a «Free Doggy Sundae,» and while my lab has always turned up her nose as gourmet treats like ice cream for dogs in the past, she positively inhaled whatever that scoop was hiding beneath the milk bone. I recommend anything that comes in one of their waffle cake comes, though there are also waffle cake cups if you’re on the go. The peanut butter cup sundae is every bit worth the workout it takes to earn, the original flavors like Tin Lizzy are classics, and the friendly service makes Bruster’s a go-to place for summer treats.
