This is a great place to go and bring the kids! Lots of flavors and toppings to choose from, not too expensive either mine is usually about $ 2.50!

I love Jandys great froyo! I have to say the variety here has more than the competition in town! California tart is my absolute favorite. With the bobas and just fruit. Little lighter than candy or syrups… lol its my kids favorite place to come but they made me a believer too.

This is possibly my son’s favorite place to eat. I have to bribe him with dessert here to get him to eat at Bluefin(in the same center) during the summer. The yogurt is always frozen, and tasty. The toppings very from cold to hot. When combined they are much better. Wow, some people write very long and lengthy reviews. I don’t. Enjoy.

Jandy’s is a solid fro-yo place with a clean atmosphere and friendly service. They also give a discount to anyone with a Berry College ID, which is terrific. Their website always highlights the current flavors — there are several you’ll always find on tap, as well as a few that make appearances certain days of the week. I was delighted to find my favorite caramel sea salt pretzel there tonight — it’s as good as it sounds! Otherwise the flavors and toppings aren’t really different from those typically found in a frozen yogurt chain. They would really make my day if they started offering mochi! Still, the place is always looking spotless, the prices are very low when compared with their competitors, and I’ve never had a negative customer service experience there. Overall, I’d recommend Jandy’s to just about anyone.

I’m a little confused as to why I have been attacked by a fellow reviewer. I thought Unilocal was a venue for honest opinion – and not for flaming. I’m not here to ruin the reputation of any restaurant— but to give a direct translation from tastebuds to text. Furthermore, as a fair taster, I gave Jandy’s in Rome a second chance(Note: before reading the flaming reply here this evening). My hubby and I decided to try the fruity sorbets, as my friend Timber suggested. I chose the pomegranate raspberry mixed with tropical sorbet. While the initial flavor wasn’t terrible, I still found the flavors to be overly artificial and sweet. I’m not sure if I’m spoiled on homemade sorbets and icecreams(or if my supertaster genetics play a part in this), but I just don’t think this is prime froyo.

I love the Valencia Orange Sherbert but overall it is worth a few visits during the week after a long hot day at work. It is a very clean shop with a nice interior, a couple of large LCD tv’s and free WIFI.

I go here all the time. There are two types of yogurt at Jandy’s, I refer to them as either being ice based or cream based. The fruit flavors are ice based, they are more yogurty and composed of tiny ice granules. The flavors like cheesecake, espresso and chocolate are cream based and you cannot feel the ice granules. The cream based yogurt has a soft serve ice cream consistency and it is my favorite. I never get the ice based fruit flavors(except peach which is cream based) because they are way too sugary. The same goes for the fruit toppings, I think they have a sugar additive and I really hate that. However, there are a couple of flavors and toppings here that I really do like, enough to keep coming back for. I always eat outside though because it’s always so crowded and loud.

My friends and I regularly go to Bluefin for lunch on Fridays. It was on one of those many Fridays that my obsession with Jandy’s was ignited… several weeks – possibly months – prior to the business actually opening its doors. Every week I peered inside to mark the progress: painted walls, tables, yogurt machines.(I blame this obsessive behavior on a somewhat recent infatuation with Yoforia and a subsequent move to an area which is completely devoid of froyo.) On Wednesday, I happened to diverge from my normal route home, and as I coasted past Jandy’s, I noticed the«Coming Soon» sign was down. I grabbed my dinner to go elsewhere and drove right back to Jandy’s. They have a dozen flavors or so from which to choose. You get a cup and fill it with frozen yogurt(1 flavor or as many as you want), then select your own toppings. They had fresh blueberries, kiwi, strawberries, pineapple, toffee, coco puffs, nuts, and various other toppings. After you’ve selected everything you want, you pay according to the weight of your cup. On its opening day, I chose strawberry yogurt with kiwi and blueberries on top. When I checked out, the cashier informed me of their incentive program. Whenever you visit Jandy’s, you enter your cell phone number. After 10 purchases, you receive a free frozen yogurt. Of course I signed up! One the following day, I went on my lunch break to try blueberry and peach yogurt with the same toppings as before, and then the next day I chose pomegranate and mango. Though I was tempted, I abstained from driving to Rome this weekend just to get more frozen yogurt. Obviously, I’m WAY too excited that Jandy’s has finally opened. My friend loved the polka dots on the walls, and I love that there are several tables and plenty of room to sit. Some of the toppings I would like to see are chocolate covered raisins, mangoes, and white chocolate chips… but those are just some of my personal favorites.
