Bad customer service. We waited 45 min for a waitress to come to our table. They gave us a booth, but the server never returned to our table to take our order. We’ll never go back! Very disappointed.

I ate here a Sunday afternoon. The pizza was really good and had me full for the rest of the day. I also enjoyed the garlic bread appetizers; they were fantastic. It had the cleanest bathroom I ever seen in a restaurant although I wish they didn’t have a door handle. The only downfall was the service was kinda slow so that’s why I took a star off but overall a great Pizzeria and plan on eating here again.

Came in for dinner the Sunday of the 4th of July holiday weekend. We were excited to try their pizza but unfortunately were never greeted by our server, offered beverages, etc. We left without a server ever having stopped by our table to offer an apology or simple explanation that they were backed up, etc. I look forward to trying this again in the future — hopefully.

Great Pizza and a snappy place to eat. I enjoyed the food and the service. The veggie pizza was loaded and taste great. Nice selection of Brews also.

It’s nice to be able to order pizza by the slice. The only negative is that they don’t have milk for the kiddos! Some mom’s don’t want their kids to drink soda!

Pizza was delicious(Steak n Cheese and Hawaiian), the waitress(Chalsty I think) was super friendly and helpful. They even allowed our dogs by one of the tables outside. Definitely coming back.

The food is fantastic! There is a lot of seating and they are usually pretty fast. The only bad thing is that the bands are too loud at night. It’s not the place to go for a one on one date. You can’t hear anything.

Very courteous staff and decent Stromboli. The two large TVs are well placed, but not as bright in the daytime as I would like. I would go back to watch more football.

Came here with a group of girlfriends to have a few drinks because it’s one of the only places to drink in town. Got TERRIBLYRUDE service from the girls at the bar, who I guess knew I was pissed at how terrible their service was because they made, hands down, the worst long island I’ve ever had. And I’ve had plenty of crappy long islands in college bars, so it’s serious.

After several bad dining experiences in Rome it was great to finally have a good meal AND good service. The White Pizza was phenomenal and the spinach salad was tasty. Nothing special to it, just fresh ingredients and nice. The very sweet waitress forgot to ring in our garlic knots which looked really good but the pizza and salad were so filling that, in hindsight, she actually did us a favor. She was very apologetic so I don’t mention it as a criticism at all. Next time I am in Rome I will be stopping here… heck, I may go to Rome just to get that pizza again.

After a negative experience at another Johnny’s location, I didn’t have much hope when my sister picked this location for our mother’s 60th birthday. The reason was the live music from Scott Thompson, a family favorite(if you’ve never heard him, he’s great). So, my sister called a few days in advance and told them we’d probably have around 35 people. Well, the were very accommodating! They set aside one area of the restaurant near the music for us. We had at least 2 servers assigned to us and several more helping out. It went very well for such a large party. They also stored the cake in the fridge for us and provided all the forks we needed(we brought small plates). And, the food was good. I had the baked ravioli and the rest of our party had many different things, from other pastas to several kinds of pizza. All reported it was good. Well, not too else much to say except they did a great job accommodating our large party and the atmosphere was NOT what I expected(the last location I went to was a bit seedy, but this location was very nice on the inside). I don’t get to Rome too often, but when I do, I know where I’ll be eating! The restaurant did get crowded while we were there, but we were never once pressured to cut our party short or leave. We stayed just at 4 hours.

I’ve only been to Johnny’s once, but I’ll definitely make it a regular stop during my monthly visits to Rome. It’s got a great, low-light atmosphere with good areas for groups and a bar well-suited for watching sports. I was by myself on this visit, so I sat at the bar. They have a good beer selection, but I was in the mood for basics. Calzone and a couple Miller Lites. It was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time, and I eat pretty well. I ordered a Johnny’s Meat Deluxe Calzone. I’m kinda serious about my calzones and this one was great. Huge, triangular and delicious. I’m 230 lbs with an appetite to match and I had a hard time eating just a little over half of it. Best $ 8.25 I’ve spent on a meal ever!
