Mr Taco

Typical Mexican fast food place although I give them 4 stars for not making total gringo food. As a quick bite and fast service place it’s good and siple place to stop by. I wish they had some Mexican soups to offer but o well I’m just one person out of thousands so no big deal. Overall good experience, will be back to try something else next time.

Had to be the worst experience so far. Ordered 2 burritos and three tacos. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get my food. I live 2 miles from there. Wasn’t to impressed. Never will I order there again. Terrible

This used to be my favorite place for tacos. Over the last year or 2 it’s service and food have drastically declined. They don’t have the salsa bar anymore and the food is always cold. On top of that my last 2 orders were prepared wrong. How hard is it to take an order and cook it accordingly? It’s sad to say but I will be looking for a NEW favorite taco spot :(

Mr Taco is by far the best mexican food in town. I eat there pretty much once every week. The tacos are great, but their TORTAS are to die for! It is delicious!

I always have to wit here and they get my order wrong. The food is ok but there is a place in Bolingbrook that’s top knock. This place is convenient.

Husband tried to order food, talked to Rosie who he had a hard time understanding. After talking to her, she threatened to tamper with his food. Said he wouldn’t like it if he still ordered for delivery. Don’t even want to give 1 star but I have to

this place is just south of I-​55 and weber road about a mile south on the east side of the street. its in the strip mall where dominicks used to be. anyways. the shrimp tacos are awesome! I highly recommend this place. great prices and the food is pretty darn good!

Almost as good as the mr taco in cicero. If they wpuld cook the cheese on the tortillas so it gets crispy fried I would live that. The nachos are huge and I almost didn’t finish. Definitely has good steak. You know its hard to find real meat in these places around here.

had a steak torta, was good but they were very skimpy on the meat. had also ordered a ½ gal. of menudo that in my 34 years of eating menudo was the worst. it was all mostly grease and the flavor was not at all appetizing. i immediately took it back (first time ever for returning menudo) and they did not want to refund my dinero. as the cashier looked at all that grease she stated that is the way it should be… if you go here do not eat the menudo, ruby’s isn’t the best but it is far better than this one. also across the street is mi tierra their menudo is much better tasting.

This place always cooks really good food. When you need a Taco fix or a burrito go here you won’t be disappointed.

Great flautas and jr. burrito, very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, good value. We would definitely come back if in the area.

Ordered through Grub Hub a delivered meal, variety of taco, tostado, flauta, quesadilla, beans rice. It smelled awful and the taste was far worse. Nothing fresh at all, just smelly old meat and greasy with hardly any Mexican flavor. Tried two bites of each and asked Grub Hub if they would ask them to take back food. Of course they refused and Grub Hub stepped up with a partial credit. Avoid this place if you can. Very bad and they don, t care.

Whenever I am craving Mexican food, this is the place I order from. Their not the best, but it hits the spot. Their nachos are good and so are the burritos. The Guacamole is delicious.
I order from them through GrubHub. They come between the estimated time of delivery.
Unfortunately, more times than not, they forget something…
They’ve forgotten my horchata just about every time. They forget the extras I pay for (ie: sour cream, guacamole, ext.) So, that’s annoying.
But like I said, the food hits the spot!

I think mr taco has great low-​priced Mexican food. It has a huge amount of nachos on the mr nachos. Every time I go there I get the nachos, and every time it is amazing. Full of beans meat and has amazing guacamole on the side. I also find the burrito to be good. It is packed with with lettuce, tomatoes, beef, guacamole, beans, and other Mexicano stuff.

Every time I go my shells when I open the pack my taco shells are soggy. Nothing worst than messy old shells.

Me and my finacee got very mild food poisoning last time. This place kinda went down hill from what it used to be. The steak is sometimes good sometimes not, inconsistent is not good. I love the condoment bar they have. I do not eat here any more I go to El Barrio near At’s A Nice, way better place there.

Went balls out and got the super Mr. Burrito and tacos. The tacos were pretty solid. Not sure how big the regular burrito is but the super Mr. burrito was a foot long. Chose the carne asada filling as it sounded like its what they’re known for. The steak quantity amount in the burrito definitely wasn’t lacking and the steak had a seasoned sour cream taste to it and the meat had no fat on any of the pieces. Food was a lot better than I thought and the service was good as well.

This place is as legit as a greasy Mexican takeout place named «Mr. Taco» ever could be. I made a midnight stop here tonight with some friends of mine who live in the area, and couldn’t believe how lively the place was. You know how when you hit up your typical greasy burrito place late at night they’re open, and there might be a couple people there, but by and large it’s pretty dead? Well, Mr. Burrito was JAMMIN’- To the point that there was only two open tables when we got there.
I got the «Mr. Nachos» (everything on their menu is a «Mr.» something) and couldn’t be more satisfied. A base of great chips is layered with tons of cheese, beens, tomatoes, jalapeños, guacamole, and sour cream, and served to you on a plate that’ll make you think, «Wow, this is about three times as big as it looks in the picture.»
If you’re a bad enough dude (And, I’m happy to report that I am.) you’ll be able to demolish the Mr. Nachos in one sitting. Yes, it’ll induce the food sweats, and you’ll wonder what went wrong in your life that you’re shoveling this much grease down your gullet, but just imagine the feeling of accomplishment (and remorse) when you join the Mr. Taco clean plate club.
I’m hitting the gym extra hard tomorrow, but, holy hell, what a plate of nachos.
