These tacos are the best I’ve had in my life! The chicken and steak ones are phenomenal. I’ve only gone twice so far so there’s a lot more to try but if you’re a taco fanatic, go and try them!

This place is great! Reasonable prices for authentic style Mexican food. Carne Asada Tacos(with cilantro and onions) along with the Carne Asada Super Burrito are my go to menu items. The chips are hot and fresh. They make a very tasty Horchata here as well. I find myself going here very often. I’ve yet to see this place not busy. The manager is a super cool guy.

I was so excited when I was driving down weber and saw there was a new Mexican restaurant in romeoville. I had somewhere to go but when I was driving back I stopped by. I ordered a taco dinner and a steak tostada. I brought it back to work and it was alright. The meat had no taste, I had to put extra sauce on it. The only thing I liked was on the tostada there was a big cut of avocado but that had no taste either. I let one of my employees have a taco and she said it was bad… sorry won’t be back.

My biggest regret about moving to Chicago is this place… and well Buchos on Rt 53. This place makes their meat really good and the sweet and salty flavors that come out of every dish is perfect. I’ve never had a Burrito quite like at Taco Diner. Staff here is friendly, for a fast-food place I’m used to the typical rude levels you get in Chicago during a work lunch-hour. They are always helpful and polite. The place is a little small and sometimes seating is a problem, but during the warm months they have outside seating. The mood is warm and they have a tv which is sometimes tuned into Novelas which is typical for a Mexican fast-food place. Whenever I visit the southwest suburbs, Taco Diner is on the top of my list… definitely 5⁄5.

Clean restaurant, very friendly service, great food. Steak fajitas and tamales are delicious. Hard to leave this place without spending a lot of money because everything is so good. Worth it! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely amazing food. My husband and I love Taco Diner, we were ecstatic when they open the Romeoville location down the street from our house. It is the same owners at both the Bolingbrook & Romeoville locations so the food is just as good at both. Everything we order is amazing. This is our go to spot at least once a week. Delicious, affordable authentic Mexican food. Highly recommended.

We ordered take out from Taco Diner. I ordered the combination platter it consisted of a tamale, enchilada and a side of rice and beans. My enchilada was dry my tamale was dry and hard. My son ordered shrimp tacos and was not pleased to find out the shrimp were not deveined. He was none to happy. We will not be frequenting Taco Diner any time soon. Too bad because it was close to home. On a good note. The chips salsa and guacamole was tasty.

Steak tacos are so good! Tastes just like they cut a ribeye up for a taco! Free salsa and chips if you eat in! Horchata is perfectly sweet! Rice is a little bland but nothing a little salsa on top can’t fix. I really like they have 6.99 combos-pick two things plus rice and beans! We will definetly be back!

Very good, inside is new/clean. Wait for food was not long at all. Free chips and salsa when you eat in. Chips are thick and crunchy. Salsa and two sauces provided. Food is not greasy. Definitely a step above the average joint. Manager or owner came by to check on us which was cool.

Delicious food and wonderful service. The prices are competitive and the servings are standard and accurate. I am happy that I came here and tried it because now I know I will come back and next time with more people. I would recommend this place to others.

Very fresh and authentic. A very good restaurant for authentic Mexican tacos. Yummy! It was honestly a lot more than I expected. Try the pastor tacos with sour cream. It’s absolutely delicious.

Awesome tacos! Was so excited when they decided to open one in Romeoville. The meat is amazing. My favorite orders would be the steak(asada) and the seasoned pork(al pastor) tacos. I even tried a torta and it was amazing as well. This will be my go to Mexican restaurant for years to come.

I was so excited Taco Diner opened a new location closer to my house and I was not disappointed! Took both of my children there last night and it was just as good as their Boughton Rd location near my work. I had their steak tacos, my daughter had the kid’s taco meal, and my son had their chicken quesadillas. Everything was fresh and tasty.(Just like their other location) Love their complimentary chips & salsa when you dine in. My 5-year old daughter was spooning their mild red salsa on her chips she liked it so much. Service was friendly and fast.

This was our first time dining here. I had read many mixed reviews on the Romeoville Residents Facebook page most claiming that the food here was good. Our experience at Taco Diner was GREAT! They knew we were first timers when we walked in so the gave us menus, and since we were dining in– free chips and three different delicious salsas for dipping. My husband ordered the Burrito Suizo with pork and I had the Camarones con ajo. Both dishes were delicious. The pork meat inside the burrito was seasoned perfectly. The burrito itself was big enough for 2 meals. We capped off our meals with Horchata which was delicious and had a delicate cinnamon balance. My only regret is I didn’t take pictures to post how great everything looked.

Service was good, staff was very pleasant and food presentation was excellent. Chips and salsa are provided when you dine in. Unfortunately, the food didn’t have any flavor. My wife had the chicken flautas and I had the taco dinner(Pork). There was no discernable flavor in either dish.
