They would not honor a reservation price adjustment set up with corporate. She told me to try to call billing at 12 midnight. The woman at the counter was rude and kept calling her supervisor who would not come to the counter. VERY unprofessional to say the least. I had to wait to call corporate billing the next morning. The corporate billing with Avis was fantastic and apologetic, sent me to a location that would. HUGE inconvienece and lost a day of vacation. I learned my lesson and will never use that location again. I will definately use Avis/​budget, just not that location.

No problems returning a car here in the rain today.
Efficient and courteous service even with the bad weather.
Dropoff is a parking lot open to the elements though so be aware if you have to lug your baggage to the terminal which is close by.
Was charged exactly what I was quoted. Hertz, Budget, Thrifty, National, and Enterprise rental car is also on site here if needed.

This was my first experience at this Avis site, pleasantly surprised ! Made reservation online, also used a discount coupon which I found via Internet. I always put the LDW insurance at $ 9 per day at this site, I’ve learned through experience to have this insurance added to save on the frustrating questions if they find something wrong like scratches, scuff marks etc. I also used the pay now feature online, also saving money ! Happy with my experience and will use Islip MacArthur Airport Avis location again

The worst of the worst. Overcharged us $ 150 saying that we chose a more expensive upgrade. We did not! The car they gave us broke down. They had to send out a tow truck. Just received a letter in the mail from Avis telling us we owe them $ 53 for the tow truck fee. Never again!!!
