Reported them to board of health because sushi bar exposes food to customers without using sneeze guard again after Boh corrected the issue all the workers could say was ok ok thank you very much. I weonder what other surprises that I don’t see. It worries me when owner don’t take my health seriously. Im choose the food of their menu thats right but expect it prepared and displayed properly to insure I won’t get sick from eatting it. Ask for new glass of soda no a refill too if you and your guest are drinking the same thing expecially if one has a cold.

The staff is rude and obnoxious. The crab legs came out every 20 minutes and maybe 20 to 30 legs. Because of this there was an ongoing crab line there was not a great selection of food and on top of that there’s a mandatory 12% service charge /gratuity regardless of the size of your party… will not be going back there

Not a bad buffet but not as good as golden Buffett. They don’t have as big of a selection as golden buffet but the food is almost as good. I would go there again but I would probably go to golden Buffett more overall then this place but it’s not bad at all.

Giving this place 5-stars. Used to come here all the time in ²⁰⁰¹⁄₂₀₀₂ then moved from the area. Now that I am back, gave it another shot and it still holds up as one of the best buffets around. Centereach one can’t even come close to this place. Was packed for a reason and everyone waits for their famous King Crab Legs. If you haven’t tried, try it.

This place is AWFUL!!! I paid $ 20 a person for 4 people!!! The food was awful AND they TOLD me what to tip! 12% tip and WE served ourselves! WE had to get our own drinks! Oh I forgot they brought us fortune cookies and removed 5 plates from our table! NEVER AGAIN will I go to this place! They are on Portion Road in Lake Ronkonkoma, stay away from this place. I complained to the owner and he showed me a very small sign that said 12% tip added to the check. Really?! It was a tiny dark blue sign with black lettering barely legible! Please share this if you feel inclined to!

Been going here for a few years, mostly because, realistically, it’s the only local option around. Food is just OK, nothing really jumps out out you — just your typical Chinese-American dishes. The waitstaff is great — polite, fast and very competent.
In my opinion, lunch time is better than dinner. Dinner time doesn’t have many different dishes and simply isn’t worth the extra money. The main differences between lunch and dinner? Dinner features crab legs, spare ribs, and 2 different shrimp dishes.
I enjoy seafood, but last night I waited for, and this is not an exaggeration, 50 minutes for a new batch of crab legs to come out. Once they did, the other customers pounced and they were gone in minutes.
Lastly, the owner/manager at the front desk is shady as heck. They offer take-out that is priced by weight. The scale is behind the counter, and 3 separate times, I’ve had the owner take the container, turn around with his back to me and his body blocking the scale and tell me «$ 10». When I asked him to place it back on the scale so I could see the price, it came up as «$ 6», «$ 7», and «$ 7». The $ 4 isn’t a big deal, but I’m certainly not the only one he’s doing this too and I’m sure it adds up quite nicely over the course of a week.

The food was pretty good, decent selection. I would eat here again…
The bad: 12% tip included in the price. While it is not a lot, one of the waitresses was crap. Waited for about 15 minutes to get a drink, when she came over with the 4 drinks, she just left them at the end of the table. I felt like her attitude was I am getting tipped anyway so get your own stuff… Her customer service was crap…
There was a guy that helped us also and he was good.

I’ve been going to this buffet for years and I’ve never been disappointed. The selection and quality is by far, the best in the area. I’ve been to Islandia & Centereach, and every time I do, I ask myself WHY do I even bother!!! The wait staff seems sufficient, hey as long as they take the plates away quick enough, I won’t require more. If I want to leave, I simply ask for the check. The deserts are of the typical Chinese wholesale frozen variety, just like every other place, but the coffee is outstanding. I always recommend this place to people I like, to the people I dont, I would send them to Islandia & Centereach ;)

This is a great location for a Chinese Buffett. Service is good food quality is acceptable but needs an improvement. The pricing is steadily raised with tip now included in the bill and the food quality is not improving nor is the interior of the restaurant. Always packed and plenty of stuff to eat but wish it tasted better and was fresher. Still a good place to have events or parties for a group that I still come for as you just can’t beat the price around.

Food is good, but if you plan to have a party here just don’t. My fiancees bridal shower was here and they only allocated 2 hours for the party and were rushing everyone to get out. Very upset with them for ruining my fiancees special day.

Oh God no. Just gross. Of course my daughter and her friend loved it because they are 10 and growing and were eating like crazy. Just not my thing. But hey if it yours who am I to judge? Check it out and see what you think. The price is right but you get what you pay for.

This place does the trick. If you want to get down and dirty on some Chinese Buffet and thats all.
Don’t come here expecting a 5 star experience because that is just silly. This place is for those days where you are questioning everything in your life up until and not excluding the moment someone suggests «crystal garden in Ronkonkoma?» and you say «Yes. Yes, thats the place i want to enjoy a meal and feel good about everything»
Its almost worth coming here and seeing the patrons. Its like the Walmart of Chinese Buffets. ¼ men and woman are wearing sweatpants. Its quite the sight.
I stand by my 4 star review, because its exactly what you pay for nothing less nothing more.
I will go back and hate myself again and again.

Food really good, the chicken on stick was awesome! The desert was really good especially the vanilla pudding with the vanilla wafers. It is the best in Suffolk county. If you are ever in Nassau county try Chen’s on Hempstead turnpike.

Good food but I would like to see a better selection at a buffet. Really crowded here today so it was hard to feel comfortable. Service was OK but I don’t like the fact that they include a 12% gratuity in the bill regardless of how many people are in your party.

Ate there recently, some of the food was good, but I got sick from the sushi. No one else had sushi so no one got sick, in fairness.
Go there for all you can eat, if you’re hungry, but don’t get the sushi.

This place is racist. I walked in with my blended family my oldest was a little behind the rest of us. They asked him to pay first before being seated. I asked the manager about this policy. He said they asked all teenagers this. Then when I asked why they didn’t ask a teenage girl that also came in. He had nothing to say. Just a bunch of BS racist crap.

I’m stuck going here when I need to because the other local buffets are terrible. The foods just OK.
Staff is often rude.
Btw. The website says they open at 11:30 on Sunday. That’s not true. They open at 12 and only serve soup. So prepare to wait !

First of all– they had the AUDACITY to include a «service charge» of 12% for their servers. When I asked the owner he acted like a real weirdo about it and got defensive. I told him one of the employees was standing there digging in her nose. I told him he shouldn’t be charging for tips because I DIDNT WANT to tip because they were gross AND RUDE and aside from plopping soda on my table they did absolutely nothing. how dare them. The whole time we were there they put crab legs once. And guess what? I ate the dirty crab legs and got food poisoning. STAY AWAY. Seriously. By the way — they put a good review for themselves after every bad one. Just read them you can tell who wrote it

The food was so great. Many people came here and really had a great time. There Chinese food are of great quality. Besides, they provides 3 different soup. Overall, this was a fantastic restaurant. It is a miracle for everyone!
