Mario’s Pizzeria

I’ve been eating here since I moved to the area in 2009 and I’ve never been disappointed. I love their regular slice, chicken and tomatoes slice, and meat lasagna. My sisters pretty much take my nieces here and my mom normally pick up a pie or two here. This place is one of my favorite places to eat at and everytime I visit New York, I stop by to pick up two slices for me and my wife. She is from Chicago and she loves their pizza. Personally I feel that if you are ever in the Rosedale area you should stop by and give them a try. I’m sure you will love it!

Big disappointment … My husband and I usually cook but since we got home late we decided to go for some pizza. We purchased 2 slices one buffalo chicken and another chicken and broccoli. When we asked for blue cheese on the side we were told that would be $ 1 extra. Lol The chicken & broccoli tasted like freezer cutlets. The buffalo chicken slice was sloppy and tasted horrible. Save your money and go elsewhere

Ordered 2 large pizzas. The slices were very small. The pizza was more expensive than the listed price. The pizza was still hot when I got home from picking it up. The crust was extremely tough. My daughter almost choked trying to eat this pizza. The quality of the pizza reminded me of $ 1 pizza. Very disappointing pizza.
I’ve also purchased Chicken Parmesan sandwiches on multiple occasions. Their prices on their sandwiches are hard to beat. The sandwich portions are also great. The chicken is usually cooked well and the sandwich as a whole is pretty good.

Want delicious pizza but tired of Papa John’s or Dominos? Drive down Sunrise just past checkers and stop by Marios pizza parlor for pizza worth every cent ! Their grandma slice has just the right crunch and melted cheese with just enough marinara sauce topped with basil. And want something with a little heat? Try their buffalo pizza slice, its amazing and big enough to fill your tummy ! Dont be deceived by its looks you wont be disappointed!

It’s a bit pricey but it’s one of the few authentic pizzerias left. The slices are a decent size and very filling. Yummy

I use to like this place. The 1^st time I went here it was great. But the 2^nd time THE WORSTTTTTTT! my boyfriend and I ordered 2 slices, I got buffalo chicken he got a plain. I was asked if I wanted it hot, I said not too hot n sat down. The slices were then brought to our table but burnt. My crust had black pieces n so did my boyfriends slice. My crust was hard which is my favorite part so I was a lil upset. My boyfriend took back up the slices to let them know it was a lil too burnt and the owner then said what was he suppose to do, next time say not to hot (but I clearly did). Then he said he didn’t even have anymore of those slices, he was particularly mentioning the Buffalo (they were beginning to close up so the slices wasn’t in the window, but there were 3 that they took out the window was on the side.) After a back and forth of about 3 to 4 minutes, he then reluctantly gave us new slices after my boyfriend was very persistent and the nice service of bringing it to our table became a slam and napkins thrown on our tray at the table. Our slices were luke warm (pieces if my chicken was cold but atleast not burnt). I wanted to curse him out so bad, but I held back to write this review. The only reason they are even given one star from me is because at one time I did like this restaurant. NEVER AGAIN! It’s very unfortunate

I was surprised with this place. I had a cheese pizza and it was good. My friends got chicken and broccoli and a few others– all were HUGE. One slice is enough. Really fair prices.
They also offer pasta dishes and other Italian fare.
Seating is limited– two or three booths and a few bar stools, but the place is really small. I’d recommend take out– there is always street parking closeby.

I’ll make this short and sweet.
I will never ever order from or eat from this establishment again. I ordered a pepperoni slice and soda. I’m not sure why, but something told me to take the lid off my soda, and low and behold they’re are bunch of tiny bugs inside my cup!
I haven’t been back since, and I don’t plan to go back. If I could give no stars I would. They should be shut down.

This place has the best eggplant parmesan with ZD. Its to die for. Even though this place is a little too pricey, its totally worth it.

I always order the eggplant parm which is pretty good. Sometimes they tend to undercook the eggplant so I have to tell them to make sure it’s well done. But aside from that, it’s good and the pizza is amazing! Friendly people and always packed so you know the food is good. I just wish they delivered cause I know I’d order more often if they did.

Love a good pizza restaurant in Rosedale, but I’m sorry, the price for a slice of pizza is a bit too expensive. Yes it’s delicious, maybe slightly on the greasy side but too expensive. It’s my go to pizza spot especially when I’m starving. Always order the baked ziti and eggplant Parmesan, no flavor it’s just sauce and cheese. I Always have to end up seasoning it myself, maybe it’s just me being Indian and wanting some spices, but it literally has little to no salt. It’s cooked pretty well but it could use some seasoning. Overall It would have been four stars if it wasn’t for the prices and the seasoning, but because of that I had to give it a 3 star. Sorry bud.

Came here yesterday… The sicilian slice with fresh tomato and mozzarella was amazing! The plain cheese was also a solid NY slice. PLUS the pizza chef has a smile and friendly word for everyone.

Good local slice of pizza.
Pretty good crust and they don’t skimp on the cheese.
Had a sliced tomato and roasted red pepper slice that had a great flavor.
It’s a small place that, gets busy right around when schools get out, other than that it is a good spot for a quick slice.

They dont deliver which is not great but there pizza is delicious. I love just a plain slice it has great salty cheese and the right amount of heat and tomato sauce. Pretty decently priced. Very small and old school looking but makes up for it in deliciousness. Also try the buffalo chicken slice! Great people who work there too.
