Our Mother’s Day plans were ruined for my wife and mother and law. We had a reservation for our party. We waited for nearly an hour and a half. As we looked throughout the restaurant we noticed there was barely any food served to those dining. They were clearly understaffed on the floor and obviously in the kitchen. That’s when we realized we should quit, cut our losses short and leave. We went home, ordered take out and celebrated there. It was pretty frustrating and disappointing to say the least especially since ownership/management didn’t have fair and reasonable answers or solutions until we were prepared to leave. The entire experience was a demonstration of a lack of leadership. They definitely took on more than they can accommodate. Otherwise, it looks like a great restaurant with great ambiance. Looking at the positive reviews in Unilocal is one of the reasons that led us here. Whether or not we’ll be back I’m not quite sure at the moment. I really like to support local businesses especially if there black owned. I struggled within as to whether or not I should write this review or sweep this under the rug and never come back but I would hope this gives Pa-Nash an opportunity to learn and grow from this experience just like anyone else, including myself. Finally, I believe, I would be open to coming back for a second chance… it just wouldn’t be for Mother’s Day anytime soon ;-)

What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon with friends. PaNash was the way to go. This past Sunday, a friend and I had dinner at PaNash. I would definitely go again… In fact, I have already made plans to return. The restaurant was gorgeous — colorfully lit boxes filled with a variety of alcohol line the wall behind the bar, lovely chandeliers hang from the ceiling, and the seating is intimate and comfortable without feeling crowded. The ambiance was warm, charming, and elegant, there was enjoyable live music, and the wait staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We ordered the house specialty cocktail and then apple martinis. The drinks were pretty as well as delicious. To eat, we had salad, shrimp and grits, fig wings, and rainbow cake. The salad was fresh, the wings were a nice balance of sweet and spicy, the shrimp and grits were very well seasoned, and the rainbow cake was moist and flavorful. The portions were great and everything was delicious. Additionally, there was parking and no wait to be seated. The owners were present and very engaging, There was lots of art on the walls and an art-walkway with art for sale for those interested. There’s even a lounge downstairs. This was was a great dining experience. Well worth the price. I heartily recommend it.

Every 3rd Tues. the owners host a business to business networking event. The happy hour drinks and food was a delicious selection. I enjoyed a nice stiff Jack and Ginger while nibbling on the best fish and sweet potato fries ever. I strongly recommend dining here.

Went for brunch around 11:30am on Easter Sunday. There was only 1 other table occupied with 2 people so I was a little skeptical that it may not be that good. We were greeted right away and seated. Overall the décor is very nice and it looked very clean well kept. The lights were very dimmed, too dimmed even for dinner hours. I would definitely reccommend they make it more bright for the daytime hours. The breakfast menu was prefix about $ 20 pp and includes a complimentary mimosa or juice. We had the parfait which took a while to come so the waitress gave us a complimentary juice to compensate which was good customer service. The parfait was good but a tad too sweet, it didn’t need so much honey. The French toast was good. The eggs were overcooked and too salty. The bacon was too salty. Overall I may return again for dinner, but not for brunch. There aren’t too many — honestly barely any nice restaurants in southeast queens so this is a nice hidden addition and why I’m willing to give it another chance.

I would never go back. Happy hour isn’t that happy. The drinks/food are not great and service is terribly slow. The waitress made several mistakes on our order. I gave two stars because the manager was nice and tried to accommodate us. Also gave two stars bc the jerk wings which I did not order was okay. I wouldn’t recommend a friend to eat here.

Went here for a date night out. Loved the quiet ambiance. The menu didn’t seem to offer much, but the waiter explained they would make pretty much anything to-order I asked for. So, I did. Food was delicious & fresh. Definitely try it.

I’m so in love with Pa-Nash. The food is always consistent. With my favorite being the Garlic Butter Lobster Tail(To die For). Cocktails are great. The Passion Fruit Martini and Panash Dash is a great choice. Lastly the staff is very attentive and professional. Pa-Nash is definitely a hidden Gem in Rosedale, Queens.

Went here prior to getting on a plane. Was nice inside. Great chandeliers and lighting. The staff was super nice food came out in a very«relaxed» way. Gave us a cocktail menu but then were not offering most of the drinks on the list. Had the Moroccan stew. The flavor was very nice but it was all potatoes. Also had the kabob which was great as far as chicken and pork. Beef a bit over seasoned. Had the mac and cheese casserole as a side and that was AWESOME. Drinks… when came… we’re good. A bit pricy but I hope they succeed.

0 Stars. The food sucked and way overpriced. When an establishment chooses to charge a certain amount it is expected that one receives quality service. The service here was exceptionally shitty. Did I mention how crappy the food was? Do yourself a favor and head elsewhere.. Truly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had… ohhh recap. I had a fatty shitty piece of overcooked dry beef. when I clearly asked for medium. served with cabbage .not even fucking rice. Are you kidding me ?? No carbs. rice was extra. stale hummus and pita and mediocre wings. dessert consisted of perhaps pound cake? Gtfoh. never again . Disregard that one star rating. I was forced to rate. gtfoh

My friend and I went for dinner for the 1st time at Pa-Nash. We arrived around 6pm and the place only had two other people. We were seated right away. My first impression was that the place is nicely decorated and very well lit. The chandeliers are exquisite. The color scheme is beautiful and that lay out of the restaurant is spacious. For appetizer we ordered the Pa-Nash Three Cheese Penne Mac & Cheese roll and the honey garlic wings. The wings were tasty and juicy. The Three Cheese Penne Mac & Cheese was average. It needed more cheese. For entrees I ordered the red snapper and the my friend had the Mango Curry Shrimp. The portion for each entrees were great. My red snapper was not pleasing to me, it was eatable, but was lacking in seasoning. The curry shrimp was very good, it was tasty, soft end well seasoned. Overall, Pa-Nash was not a bad experience. The location is convenient in Rosedale, Queens. The décor is gorgeous. The prices for drinks and entrees are pricey.

Upscale dinning… in Rosedale! Yes I said Rosedale! I bookmarked Pa-Nash Wednesday morning and was sitting in the restaurant that evening. Reading 4 and 5 star review after review I had to come check this spot out. Upon entering we were immediately transferred from a block consumed with corner stores, chicken spots and a library to a chic, stylish Moroccan haven. This restaurant/lounge is gaw-geous!!! From the color changing water display with Pa-Nash branding to the extravagant chandeliers in the dining room; You can tell the owner, Annette put much thought… and money into executing the design perfectly. I mean it did only take them what? 3 years! to renovate the space to her liking; it’s only right the littlest details are acknowledged. Unique EuroSoul is how the cuisine is described; A fusion of Moccorran/Mediterranean, Caribbean and Soul Food. They take pinches from each cuisine, some more than others, and create delicious, beautiful plates that will satisfy an array of palates. We were greeted at the door and lead to a table for two. As we looked over the menu I noticed the music playing was very elevatorish, like some Kenny G; we quickly got over that as our waiter, Richard, came over and introduced himself. He also introduced the hostess that had just seated us and explained that he would be training her for the entire evening. I appreciated that(so I can’t be too harsh with my opinions on service) but it was a long wait for our drinks. We were the only patrons in the restaurant, besides the owner eating at a back table and I felt we should have gotten our drinks in a more timely manner. I saw the bartender start my drink but she ended up waiting for Richard to come back before she poured the champagne; I guess he was training more than one person that day. The hostess turned assistant waiter was a bit too attentive as well. I know, she’s new but I caught myself saying«No were fine, thank you for asking» way too many times. We received a break down of some cocktails and a few menu items but I wanted to take advantage of their Happy Hour specials. I asked Richard for more details and he informed me Happy hour drinks weren’t on the drink menu and consisted of bottom shelf liquor; I figured that was the case but the manner he said it in made me feel like I deserved better. Lol I went with the Ginger Basil Bellini(ginger liqueur and champagne with a fizzing sugar cube) and my friend ordered the Vieques Storm. My friend enjoyed his drink and my bellini was delicious! It was $ 13 though… yes, $ 13 for a bellini! Thats expensive!!! I made sure next round I got a $ 10 glass of Moscato. Food wise we stuck to apps; My friend ordered the Pan seared Maryland crab cake($ 12), which was delightful. Slightly crisp on the outside with a melt in your mouth crab filling, seasoned just right with an accompanying sauce(I believe it was some sort of mustard). I went with 2 for $ 15 apps, Three Cheese Penne Mac and Cheese Roll and Honey Garlic wings. The portions are small for the price(regular pricing is $ 10-$ 15 for apps) but the food quality is better than your neighborhood restaurant. The wings were very fresh and tender with a nice char on the outside. The honey garlic sauce they were marinated in gave them a nice mix of flavor. The mac and cheese roll was ok but the sauce that was drizzled over it made it memorable. A fig and balsamic vinegrette mix worked oh so well to compliment the saltiness of the cheese. When bitting into the roll, the cheese gave good stretch too which is mandatory for me concerning my level of mac and cheese enjoyment. After paying, I asked Richard if he could show us the lounge/downstairs area and he was more than happy to do so. The lounge area can accommodate up to 80 people and is available for private events. I was told they also have their own events; Friday and Saturday night parties, Karaōke, Comedy night, open mic etc. Karaōke was supposed to be last night but I don’t think it’s every week(I’ll try and clarify that on my next stop in). It’s a great use of the space and I am looking forward to dropping in on a friday/saturday night to check out the scene. Oh they also do brunch on Sundays at 11am, I’m interested to see whats on the menu.

My friends took me to this place to eat. When we arrived i was like we going there. I was thinking wwhat was so special about this place. I pulled out my phone and had to check out the rebiews. To my surprise the reviews were great but I still was unsure about this surprise we are here and not the city! Well, let me tell you when I walked i was very much taken in by the beauty of this lounge/resturant! The owners did a beautiful with decorating the place. Love the bathroom doors with gems in it. The food, customer service & atmosphere is so amazing here!!! I forgot my waitress name but she was honest, funny and great customer service! This is a must try locally in Queens! I was so surprised when I walked it! A hidden Jem! Friday nights is Karaōke which was a lot of fun!

The ambience is sleek and clean. The bathroom was also very well kept and polished. Food was great, I had the mac and cheese. What my issue was the bodyguard. There was one day I wanted to see the place because it never look opened and as I opened the door the body guard jumped at me. So, if anyone is coming to the place, no sneakers females, and no jeans men. The drinks are pricey and well nothing to invest in. I’ve been to many lounges in the city and in Long Island and I feel like it should not be that much especially in Rosedale.
