Helen’s Alterations

My mother discovered this place and I’m so glad she did! I had a horrible experience at a bridal shop and they purposely order my dress smaller then it should be so I would have to pay for alternations and their price was insane! Thankfully I came here and not only was I given great customer service but the prices are reasonable! My dress was done faster than I thought and I was very please with how it came out and on short notice! I recommend this place to everyone ! I will definitely be coming back here

I picked up my bridesmaid dress from the dress manufacturer last night (after $ 300 worth of alterations, a late dress shipment, and an all around stressful experience).
The dress still wasn’t right! The top came out way too saggy and very revealing.
This morning, I went to Helen’s Alterations and thankfully they were able to help me out. She knew exactly what my concern was and how to fix it. She’s able to get it done by tomorrow (because the wedding is this weekend). And guess how much it cost? $ 20 !
I’ve taken other clothes there before and been pleased too (with quality and cost). I would definitely recommend it.
The store is next to Ace Hardware and Walgreens, on Maple and Irving Park Rds near downtown Roselle. Not visible from the road if driving in certain directions so make sure to watch for it :)
