If you’re craving for filipino food stop by to this restaurant and try their beef kare kare. Often I do take out and also the price is a little high compare to other filipino restaurant.

Everything was a little over priced and the food wasn’t amazing. We just got ulam (food you eat with rice) and didn’t eat there. Won’t be coming here again.

Home cooked traditional Filipino dishes. Basic dining room and restroom could use TLC. Fast service.

I went in here to get some Filipino desserts. I’m not Filipino so I was looking for some help. I waited five minutes until they finally decided to help me. The lady at the register wasn’t very nice so I wouldn’t recommend coming to this place.

Terrible service, mediocre food… I’m calling the owner to report major issues… meanwhile, MF should close down…

Food: my filipino wife had a craving for filipino food so we decided to pick something up from here.. We got there around 530pm and the trays of food seemed to be dry on top as if they haven’t had any customers in a few hours. We ended up with just egg rolls and Adobo. The Adobo was pretty standard fare. If you’re filipino and your Adobo isn’t good, you were probably adopted. The egg rolls on the other hand were pretty nasty tasting. It had a very distinct sour, celery and pepper taste to it. Probably the worst filipino egg rolls I’ve ever had. The entrée and egg rolls were both small order but the total ended up being around $ 15 which I think is a huge ripoff. The Adobo didn’t even come with rice.
Service: we walked in and didn’t even get a hello. The lady behind the counter had this stare as if we were life long enemies. Her brows were angled like she was ready to send out a small army after us. When asked about the prices she replied abruptly pointing at this small sign covered by other paper. When we were done ordering she handed the food to the cashier who didn’t know how much things cost because he had to ask the lady about the price. He probably didn’t see the sign either. When getting our change he didn’t have enough coins so he decided to not give it to us. We said something and he went into other registers to scavenge the rest of our change. He gave us some more coins and said «can you see if that’s enough»? It wasn’t. But we had enough of this place and left with our food and being short changed.
Overall: go somewhere else.

Screwed us up big time when we were trying to pick up our order and they did not have it. I called a few days back to order and whoever that person was, did not write it down and forgot about it. What kind of business are they running really? How do they expect customers to come back when we did not only wasted our time driving there to try to pick up a dish they did not make, they also screwed us up when we now were now scrambling to find a dish to bring to our party. Not very business like!

The food is always good. Large orders never disappoints. The weekend buffet is good. The downside is the place is so tight and they’re starting to slack on the buffet presentation, there’s just food dropping everywhere and the bathroom is nasty.

My wife and I stopped here yesterday, and I can honestly say that this place is the worst restaurant I’ve been to. There are other reviews here that mention a lady with attitude and that is exactly the main problem. The staff is really rude and not friendly at all. I don’t know how they stay in business if they treat their customers with attitude. We tried the Sunday buffet lunch. Which is pricey for the type of food they serve. As soon as we walked in though, we were just ignored. We sat ourselves and the staff just sat around looking at us. I had to go to the cash register and ask how we are supposed to get our lunch. That’s when the attitude elevated. She sneered at me and punched something in the register and said it was going to be $ 22 for lunch and then asked me if I wanted drinks. I said yes and she came back with $ 24. I said OK and I paid. I asked if she would bring the drinks to our table. She rudely said yes and went to the back to do something. She didn’t even tell me what was available at the buffet or give any type of direction. We had to figure things out on our own. The food at the buffet was OK, which is why I gave it one star. If I could give it zero, I would. The presentation was terrible and there was food customers dropped between all the trays and mixed into the other trays. The floors had food and looked like nobody swept them all day. The restaurant is also over crowded with tables, so you have very little room to walk around when going to the buffet. Only half of the tables were occupied when we were there and people were bumping into each other and the tables all the time. Remember when the lady said she would bring drinks to the table, she never did. I waited ten minutes for the drinks to be brought to our table and I finally went up to a staff member who was restocking the silverware and asked about our drinks. He ran to the back and asked someone about it. I was told to go to the refrigerator in the back and get the drinks myself. What??? Why didn’t the lady who charged me just tell me that in the first place? Instead of BS’ing me about bringing the drinks to the table and walking away, she should of just told me to go get my drinks and I wouldn’t have gotten so mad. Anyway, after that ordeal, the staff basically ignored us the rest of the time we were there. I only had one plate of food and my wife, who is Filipina, had two. She didn’t really want to get another plate, but she was hungry. After eating, she said the food is not worth the price we paid for it. Obviously, we are never coming back. I’m not sure how long this place has been around, but I don’t see it being around much longer if they continue to treat customers with subpar food, an unclean restaurant, and unfriendly staff.

This is definitely the worst filipino restaurant/​store I have ever been in. I came in at 5pm and bought some food to take home. I ordered rice and they said they did not have it coz it was already late but they don’t close til 7 pm. I asked for sauce for the egg rolls and the lady gave me an attitude about it coz they did not have it either. What’s the point of having a restaurant not having the most basic items for their customers? And their attitude towards me did not help at all, it’s as if they couldn’t be bothered one bit. Am never going back to this place again.
You walk in there all hungry only to find out you have to go to another restaurant to get your rice. Rice being the staple food of Filipinos.

I stopped by for the weekend midday buffet. It had a bunch of dishes and a wide variety of food that I’ve never eaten before. Pretty much everyone there was Filipino. Since it was a buffet, the portion size was of course large.
The taste was pretty good. There was some rice, noodle, meat, and seafood dishes. There was some salad and dessert too.
Since it was a buffet, I won’t comment on the service but a worker asked us about the food and said everything was made on site from scratch.
Price was $ 10.99 which I thought was kind of pricey for lunchtime but not over the top expensive since it was all you can eat.
The other half of the dining area is a store for Filipino groceries.
Overall, a pretty good place and I’d come back.

We finally got our butts over to Manilla Fiesta to try the AYCE lunch buffet they have from 11 — 3 on the weekends. I used to live in San Diego where there was Filipino food galore & one of my dear friends out there is a Filipina so I have been spoiled in the past with some amazing food.
This is a small restaurant with some Filipino grocery items as well. It seems like they do a brisk take-​out & catering business. The buffet was on the small-​side with 15 items plus rice & soup, but for such a small restaurant I wouldn’t expect much more. Everything we tried was quite good — but I couldn’t tell you what we tried aside from lumpia & pancit as I’ve never learned the names of any of the other dishes & there wasn’t any signs indicating what was what (which might be a good idea just from a food allergy perspective for them to add). My favorite items were what I would pot roast in a slightly spicy sauce with bell peppers & potatoes and then this amazing chicken dish that was in a coconut-​milk broth with potatoes, bell peppers & carrots — wow, the coconut broth really made this dish so very delicious. I also really enjoyed the tapioca-​custard type of dish that had an interesting fruity note to it & had cooked carrots in it. For deserts in addition to the tapioca there was also mashed sweetened purple yam (yum!) & some sort of salad that was a cross between a pasta salad & a fruit salad that was mayo-​based.
We had no idea what to do when we first arrived as all the employees were either in the kitchen or quickly shuttling dishes to & fro from the buffet. We kind of stood around for a minute, then sat at a table for another when I noticed an older couple talking & the wife gesturing towards us. Finally my husband walked up to the register area & the husband of that older couple came up to tell him we can go ahead & eat & then come up to pay afterwards. Glad they took pity on the only non-​Asians in the place because the staff was too busy to notice.

This place has awesome Filipino food and I believe it is the best I have experienced in this area. The way they make Dinuguan, Menudo, Fried Lumpia, Rice, Barbecue Pork, and Pancit are all perfect. It’s not just a place to get cooked food, but this is also a Filipino Market that sells ingredients. This is the place I come to when I have a craving for the food I grew up on.
Customer service is very important and it’s what will help keep customers coming back. When I visited to order food two times recently, the cashier or the person who attended seemed annoyed and she made me feel unwelcome. Although, luckily they have this old lady who I think is the cook and is super sweet and seemed very attentive. Because of this little old lady, she made the place that seemed cold, warm.
This is another place where I will have to suggest:
* if you want to try awesome Filipino food in this area and don’t care whether the person serving your food looks annoyed or doesn’t seem to care whether you are there or not, this is the place to go.
* if you know what to order and are very quick about it so that you don’t annoy the cashier, all because the food here is great, this is the place to go.
* if you are okay with come in and out, no smile, no fuss kind of service, but want to eat the best Filipino food, definitely come here.
Overall, the food is great but the customer service just needs a lot of work. My rating is 1 star for customer service and 4 stars for the food.

The food is great, although I have never had the buffet. I’ve been satisfied with the food whenever I order from them.
But, customer service is poor. They’ll see you, but they don’t acknowledge you. They ignore you until they are able to serve you.
I was standing there for almost 10 minutes until someone said they’ll be right with me.

just went here recently with my mom, bro & my niece for the sunday buffet. the food is so good & we even bought some food to take home. they have this big tub of sago & gulaman & its so tasty! i could drink the whole thing! i love me some filipino food & this is a great place to get it!

It was just OK.
It’s a restaurant and grocery store in one. Looks like it’s family owned. There is definitely no menu. I don’t know what anything is called, although my husband himself is Filipino. All I know is that my mother in law makes it better. The presentation of the food was like going to a family kids birthday party. I don’t know. I did like the pineapple juice and the fact that they sold lotto scratch offs.
We came on a Sunday afternoon for the buffet. Now the buffet is a great way to try everything. I had one plate. My husband had plate after plate and my in laws ate just as much. I’m always up for trying new things and giving second chances so I’ll probably come back.

I gave this restaurant 1 star because I didnt have the option of rating it no star. The food is never hot at this place and to be honest compared to other Filipino restaurants their food is below average. The calderetta is bland and the lumpia shanghai is not freshly prepared. The people who work here are not friendly at all especially (the female and male cashier).
Couple of days ago I spent $ 6.95 for 20 pieces of lumpia because the unfriendly lady told me it is cheaper for me to buy 20 pieces than to buy 10 pieces (for 40 cents each even though it was 20 minutes before store closing). I came home and even my 3 year old son wouldn’t take a 2^nd bite. The lumpia shanghai was not only old but completely dried out from sitting under the heat lamp for several hours. I don’t trust this place for quality food and the service is very bad. They make you feel like you should be thanking them for giving them business. No thank you.

Manila Fiesta’s specialty is catering to large parties. It is a grocery store and serves a buffet.
But this review is for the $ 10.75 buffet. First of all, the food is not hot. At 1pm on a Saturday afternoon the eggrolls were old and cold. Vultures wouldn’t even fly over the Lechon (Pig) since basically there were only bones left, and yes, the Lechon was cold. The Caldereta was decent but cold. The soup was nothing to write home about, so I would skip that.
I will definitely not waste my money on the Buffet again.

I love to cook, especially Filipino food, but if I have no time and want something quick, I hit up Manila Fiesta. My family orders from here ALL the time! Good selection and good home coming. We’ve used them for everyday meals and catering events. Every time, I’ve gotten attentive and helpful service and awesome food.
Their weekend buffet has a lot their typical menu items that are featured during the week but its quality and the value is fair for the number of choices. I would say there are about 3 tables of food and probably only 10 tables to sit at. So, try to get there early.
Besides their take-​out foods, buffet and catering service, they also have a small food pantry store stocked with soup mixes, snacks, and common Filipino cooking essentials.
Overall, I think it’s a good «ma and pa» place to support. So, if you’re in the area and looking for Filipino food, you should stop by! Sarap!

Manila Fiesta Caters. When it’s too hot to cook or you just don’t feel like cooking, it’s nice to know Manila Fiesta provides good Filipino food for your pot-​luck or family parties.
There’s still the weekend buffet – great price for AYCE and mini grocery store for Filipino cooking staples. But if you’re in a hurry and just want to pick up some take-​out for dinner, they have traditional items at their take out counter just ready to go. Fried marinated fish, lechon kawali (fried pork) stews like kare kare (pork stew in a peanuty sauce), adobo, pinak bet (veggies and pork stew with bittermelon), just to name a few. Their dessert case seems to have expanded too – besides the basic leche flan (rich egg custard) and ube (purple yam cake), they have maja blanca (a corn custard), ginatan (kind of like a porridge with sweet potato, sticky rice balls and sweet taro) Sapin Sapin (a tri-​colored sticky rice cake) and buko pandan (a coconut gelatin) and refreshing halo halo (shaved ice with sweet beans, coconut, coconut jelly, flan and ube ice cream)
They can cook pretty much any Filipino dish you need for a cater order. We’ve ordered a week in advance and the food is ready for pick up right at the time we requested. This last weekend we ordered 5 different items and they threw in some ginatan for free (sweet!). They also helped us cart it and load it in the car. The food is well-​made and satisfies the craving for Filipino food.
Funny Story: I brought lumpia shanghai (mini eggrolls) to a party a few weeks ago and one gal said, «Oooh, I’m not much of an eggroll person» She tried one anyway. I saw her go up at least 5 more times to grab some more lumpia. I asked her what she thought. She said, «I know I said I didn’t like egg rolls, but THESE are the best!» Score another convert to Filipino egg rolls!
