Okay, so I’ll probably get a lot of people that disagree with me, but I just had to say it. Over the last few years, bora ’ s clothing literally went downhill. I’m talking about quality clothing that is worse compared to forever 21. Not to mention the pricing is so expensive for the type of quality you have to pay. I know there is a $ 5 rack of inexpensive clothes, but that’s about it. Wear once or twice and toss it away. I think this store is catered to older customers and I hardly find anything fashionable here. Yea, I understand that you pay what you get, but I’m not going to spend roughly $ 50 on a thin blouse where I can get it cheaper and better quality somewhere else. My mom and I even wondered if these clothes were donated at one point because they just felt and looked so worn out and old, but it’s imported from korea. I have nothing against korean clothes, but bora just that one overpriced boutique in rosemead. I miss the cheaper prices when the store first opened because the quality was equivalent to the price, but I guess they have to make a profit. After all its a clothing store.

Gotta love this place. I enjoy shopping here because of their $ 5-$ 10 clothing racks. Every now and then, the rack would change. I believe there is a Bora located on Valley/Del Mar in the 99 Ranch market Plaza, right next to Tapioca Express. I find cheap clubbing dresses here. Sometimes they’ll be on the $ 5 dollar rack or the $ 10. You just gottta be a bit patients in finding what you like. If you don’t like what is on the $ 5-$ 10 dollar rack, they have other clothings as well, but not discounted, just sold by the original price.

This boutique is amazing! The employees are so nice and the clothes are fabulous! Everything is very reasonably priced, and if you pay in cash you won’t get charged tax. Also, as a short, skinny girl, sometimes it’s hard to find clothes that fit just right and jeans that don’t have to be hemmed. No worries here, haha it caters to Asian customers, so short and skinny body-types have no problem finding stuff to fit them here. Oh and this isn’t a guarantee, but if you’re nice to the ladies working there and buy a lot, you may get a discount. I bought 5 items there before and spent a cool $ 100 something and I got a 20% discount on everything. These weren’t items on the discount racks, these were regularly priced, but since I was nice and bought so much, I got a discount on each item. Which was really nice, and even though I’d have continued to keep coming back for their clothes, their customer service just made me even more happy to patronize their business.

If you are a fashionista, you will love this boutique! The prices are inexpensive and you can find an array of unique clothing and accessories that you wouldn’t be able to find at other stores at the mall like Forever 21 or Papaya; funky Asian fashion for the win. There are sale racks for $ 5 and $ 10 items, but you don’t get to try on these items. You can find anything from a trendy blouse or skirt for work, casual tops and dresses, leg wear, belts, etc. Another plus is that if you are paying cash, there’s no tax. This store is in the same complex as Ledo Café(awesome Hong Kong style café), East Gourmet Seafood Restaurant(dim sum, yum!!), and various other restaurants. Parking gets a bit crazy on the weekends, sometimes it’s easier to park on the street on those type of days!

This Asian styled boutique store is located in the hard to park Garvey Square Shopping Center. You’re looking at braving parking against grocery shoppers and hungry hippos! Anyhow — this place rocks. A small store stocked with funky looking BORA shirts, evening wear, dresses, pants, shorts, skirts and some accessories. You know… items that have strings running in weird places, big flowers, slightly pompous prints, weird angles… They have a huge sale going on now — $ 5 for a lot of really cool items! I got a cross back royal blue summer dress for $ 5! =) And 4 racks of items that cost $ 10 piece. We’re talking quirky office shirts, evening shirts and skirts! Found a nearly backless shirt for $ 10 — it had a single frill of cloth running down the middle of the back… very unique and sexy!!! Things that are not $ 5-$ 10 are 20% off and I didn’t see anything exceeding $ 30. I bought another dress for $ 24 which reminded me of running through the fields with Totoro! =) Mostly summer wear for now. They also take credit card but you get taxed. If you pay cash, you don’t get taxed. =)
