For all culvers in general: dry bland cheap crap. Was once just OK but now its just another overgrown corporate chain ofsuck

I love this place– decent burgers– Priced right– and dependable. The Frozen Custard is always a nice treat, and they seem to have their own Root Beer … So, get a scoop of their vanilla custard– and drop that into a drink cup and make your own root beer float– it’s killer. French Fries are decent too– Most Culver’s serve the exact same quality, so that is a plus! You always know what to expect!

This was my first time eating here and trying the custard here. The place can get pretty crowded, but overall the food is simple and good. The custard is very tasty as well. The service is friendly and efficient.

Came in here to get frozen custard. This was the only place open after 9 pm for desserts around the River road/Rosemont CTA area. Quickly got our stuff and sat down. Service was ok.

We were visiting and I recall eating Culver’s in Wisconsin Dells three years ago. Since then, I have enhanced my clean eating diet to about 98% clean/95% of the time. I don’t eat processed, no «typical» fast food places. When my son and I travel, eating is difficult because our systems rejects the fake food fast with headaches, nausea, diarrhea, overall bad feeling. I can’t risk getting sick while traveling, so we review menus/ingredients and make the best/safest choice. This was a good choice for us. I know the burgers are good but we don’t st bread anymore and a patty alone is not filing. We got the cod platter with fries and Cole slaw. Food was hot, fresh, and tasty. They even had real sweet tea(brewed and not a syrup concentrate. I ask). They also. had real butter obviously, which is a plus because again, we don’t eat margarine. After eating at a «new» place, I wait for the aftermath. Everything was good… no headache, no upset stomach, nothing but a full feeling. I’m only giving 4stars because the sweet tea had been sitting a while because I can tell from the taste. Being from the south, we know when tea gets old. It was still drinkable. Not a biggie and I didn’t complain because it was near closing time and no need to brew a fresh batch. I understood. Will be back and visit other locations when traveling.

Omg the food is soooo good, total heart attack! Came here for a midnight snack and had to try the frozen custard. Every day of the week this location has a special and on this particular day the medium size shake was half off, so of course we HAD to get that! Got the blueberry frozen custard shake with caramel. Didn’t think those two things would go together but holy cow it was full sugary goodness! Service was nice and quick, prices very reasonable. Bathrooms are clean.

I enjoyed this Culver’s the staff is always pleasant and the food is very good. I myself enjoy the butter burgers and the ice cream rivals most ice cream shops in my opinion. The only drawback is the high prices but I guess in this economy that can be said for everyone.

I love Culver’s. It is one of my guilty pleasures. They have great food and super awesome shakes. Lines can get long here so be prepared to silence your stomach growls.

Frozen custard is divine, I got an sundae vanilla with goodies only problem is, I thought they put them on top, not in the bottom working up. So service exceptional, again sundae although upside down was to die for. I have an ice cream/frozen custard addiction, this rates in the top ten across the nation.

In from San Diego, the butter burger and cheese curds warmed me up immediately. Will get some frozen custard before I head back west.

This visit to this Culver’s location was extraordinary — and not in a good way. We have visited dozens of locations and this is the outlier. Service was slow this afternoon. The cashier did not know how to operate the register, each sale needing a manager. The amount of grease on the double burger was flood worthy. Didn’t even bother with the fries of the value basket I’m not sure I actually ordered.(Did I ask for a drink?) The idea of flavor of the day is to include the flavor in the custard. Vanilla is great, but there’s a reason it’s not on the reader board outside. All employees seemed in slow motion, including the kitchen. We observed orders and waiting customers needing intervention. Then there was the scoop. I understand profits and all, but in other Culver’s(all locally owned) the amount of custard in the single scoop dish was generous. Not here. Servings elsewhere have a delicious dome well above the lip of the dish. Here the dome was slight and barely crested the lip. Enough with the scale!(yes, it was employed which illustrated how much it’s ignored at other locations — hope that continues.) The banner proclaiming this location was a nominee for best crew of 2014 calls into question the judgement of the committee. More training, more training, more training. Steak n Shake is around the corner, been there since 1999. Not sure this Culver’s will enjoy such longevity.

Before I moved to Chicago, I had never heard of Culver’s before. In fact, I’d never eaten a cheese curd in my life! After my experience here, this place is someone I go to every weekend as a treat! The buffalo chicken strips there are the best strips of chicken I’ve ever tasted! Now, that means on of two things — I’ve lived a sheltered life… or these really are amazing! I’d say it’s a mix of both of those things. :3

I come here occasionally on my way to/from O’Hare because of the proximity. I actually like Culver’s a lot and they are my preferred fast food if I’m on a road trip, but this particular location is a mess. The lines are extremely long, there are not very many employees, and even fewer employees who are trained. I don’t expect fantastic service at a fast-food restaurant, but I do expect that the food will come out warm and the order will be correct. Unfortunately, the last time we were here, the kitchen was having an extremely difficult time getting orders correct– the people cooking kept asking the people taking orders in the front«Is that right? What is this? What was this supposed to be again?». I’ll probably come back because it’s just so close to the airport, convenient, and clean, but I would recommend that they invest in some training for their employees if they want to optimize their efficiency.

Best customer service from Tiffany A! She was delighted to offer tastings of their custard and helped with my order since I had never been to a Culvers before. Great employee, thanks Tiffany!

I first discovered the goodness that is Culver’s when I was visiting Colorado. The food is unique and unlike other fast food restaurants. And the food is actually quite good. The drive-thru is also unique. instead of giving you your food at a window, they give you a number and deliver your food to you when it’s ready. The menu for the drive thru was also hard to read from the back seat of the car I was in(a sedan).

Fantastic frozen custard, great butter burgers, amazing onion rings! Join their email club to get deals in the mail. They used to do $ 1 butter burgers, now they are $ 1.25 — with the works, which isn’t much. I need to remember to request extra pickles. Mushroom N Swiss is great! Custard — chocolate, vanilla, or flavor of the day — and those flavors are terrific! I hope to try them all!

Culver’s is one of my many guilty pleasures. I ordered the prime rib sandwich. The meat ratio to the bread was perfect. It was filled with onions and ooey-gooey melted cheese making for the perfect amalgamation. The meat was very tender and incredibly flavorful. I didn’t have any expectations. I thought it would be worthy of three stars, but it was a pleasant, delicious and unexpected surprise! I rate the prime rib sandwich with 4-stars. The price-point and quality of the prime rib itself, 5-stars. There was no fat or grizzle and it was melt-in-your mouth super tender. The service was fast and hospitable and is also worthy of 4-stars. I had an appointment at Abbott Molecular on 20-Jun-2014, and noticed a number of restaurants across the street from Abbott. I saw Steak N Shake, Buona Beef, an Italian bistro restaurant and so many other restaurants. Since I was in the Rosemont — DePlaines area, I stopped in at Culver’s, because I’ve never seen one in the city. I am glad I had the prime-rib sandwich. It was satisfying and filling. The bread roll was fresh, chubby and fluffy. My only complaint is that they do not have a Culver’s any where in the City of Chicago, and I wish they would plant one in the city. Anywhere. Pretty, pretty please! This Culver’s is a nice size, with large glass windows and ample free parking. The restaurant is bright, clean and well stocked. I love that you order, pay, are given a number(to put on your table) and they bring your order to the table. It is nice not to stand and wait for your order. This kind of customer service receives 5-stars. Maybe the other fast-food franchise restaurants should take note of how it is done. I did not have their frozen custard. I know it is loaded with sugar, fat and high calories. I wish they offered«no sugar» frozen custard though. Don’t get me wrong, I like their frozen custard, and I’ve had it before, but I didn’t want to spend an extra hour at the gym working off the calories. Maybe next time…

This is the second Culver’s location I’ve visited as well as my second/third experience dining at a Culver’s restaurant. The staff here are very friendly and offer great customer service. There are plenty of clean tables to sit at when dining inside, which is always nice. The food, on the other hand, was on the bland side both times(on different days) we visited here. I don’t know, Culver’s is one of those places that I’d really want to like, but the food always disappoints me. 3 out of 5 stars for the excellent staff and well kept restaurant.

This was my first time at Culver’s so my expectation were kind of high since my friends said it was like In-n-out. Saidly to say i did not think the burger was as good as an in-n-out burger. Now the burger wasnt bad but nothing really special. I did like the fact that they did have chululu hot sauce which you dont typically find in a burger restaruant. I did like the fries because they were crinkle cut fries that came out nice and hot and crispy but not greasy. They went well with my friends chocolate shake but was also pretty good. The shakes were better than in-n-out shakes maily becuase they had other toppings you could get. Overall not a bad experience but nothing really special in my book.

Gosh, I love this place. consistently great service consistently great food consistently clean Not many fast food places do friendly faces warmly greet you at the door, almost always here! I love love love the juicy delicious butter burgers(that TASTELIKEMEAT– like ground beef, not mystery meat!) Also love the cod sandwich, for the flaky white meat that is of good quality. Fantastic NOTGREASY onion rings, and the rare times I get custard… love that too. A few times have taken their ice cream(oops, custard!) sandwiches home. Love em. The condiment area is ALWAYS kept clean and that is something important to me. Staff asks you if you need anything and come by to take your trays more often than not. I try to make it there once a month or two. YUMYUMYUM. I can almost smell the delicious butter-burger.
