Eh… Went here with my bf on a whim as we were hungry and it was«Taco Tuesday». He knew of this place so off we went. We got there at 9:10pm and there was no one in the place. He ordered at coke and I ordered a mojito which were on special for $ 4. I guess for $ 4 they dont put any alcohol in them. We ordered the tableside guac(which I dont eat) but my bf managed to eat ¾ of the bowl so I am assuming that it was good. We decided to order a bunch of things to share. We got the street corn. They were 4 half cobs of corn and they were extremely soft(overcooked?) and had a weird flavor to them. They tasted like they had been sitting in dirty water all day. We also got the ceviche. The shimp tasted very fishy and there was almost none in it. It was mostly tomatoes and onions. After 2 bites, it was tossed out. We also got 3 steak tacos. The steak was extremely overcooked. My bf asked for an additional plate FOUR times and it still never came. I am not one to send back food or it all would have went back but I would never go to nor recommend this place to anyone. Funny side note: I was trying to tag us into the restaurant on social media… I couldnt find the name of the place ANYWHERE. The name of the restaurant is Laredo’s. On the lighted sign outside, the L A R E are all burned out bulbs. We thought we were at a restaurant called«Do’s».

Made an attempt to go try this place again as we were so hungry and in the area. We went in with very low expectations but just wanted food. Again, the wait staff was horrible. We ordered table guac and the lady didn’t move until we tipped her. Our drinks were flat and the waiter was irritated when we asked for something else and he took forever. My quesadilla had so much oily dripping from it, I couldn’t even eat it. Needless to say, I’ll starve before I go back.

Terrible! Went for the first time about a month ago and I will never go back. The food was just okay… until… I felt something hard in my mouth. Pulled it out and it was a huge piece of plastic that I almost swallowed. I showed the waiter and he apologized several times. We were seated near the kitchen and I was even more grossed out as I saw an old sink with drawers filled with the tortilla chips. The waiters just opened the drawers and scooped out the chips into the baskets with their bare hands!!! I was willing to give dessert a try and asked for the Flan and they told me they had none. The bathroom was so incredibly disgusting. Just a horrible experience. The waiter did comp my dinner since I almost ate plastic but that wont make me go back.

Birthday Celebration — Ordered the«Fajitas en Mojejetes» — so delicious!!! Comes served in a Lava Stone, ONEOF A KIND no other mexican restaurant in area does it like they do! My only slight complaint — when making a RESERVATION make sure they take your name and ACTUAL write it down. Arrived and said NO reservation had been made. WHAT!!!

Mediocre at best. Salsa tastes like tomato soup. Sauce on enchiladas was bland. The chicken, however, was moist.

This place is kind of hidden unless you’re looking for it its a hidden gem you can say. Our server named Carlos was polite and very attentive. We ordered the Molcajete Fajitas that comes with steak, chicken and shrimp I highly recommend trying it. The margaritas were well made and the food was amazing. This was my first time there and it was a great experience. Can’t wait to go back there and try something else.

Delicious table side guacamole, great service, and pretty good margaritas! I ordered the pollo laredo’s which was awesome! I think for the price, it’s one of the better Mexican restaurants that I’ve been to. Definitely the best service!!!

Hit or miss. This experience was good. Went with a large group and all food was hot flavorful. 2/item combo was perfect.

Worst flautas I’ve ever had and believe me… I’ve had many… its so loose I could stick a knife inside of it and it would go through smoothly because there was barely any meat inside of it.

In Chicagoland good, authentic northern Mexican food is easily found in city and suburb alike. Count this as one of your two Mexican eating stops in Rosemont(the other is Cilantro a half mile west). Laredo’s is solid, though not scrumptious or special — what I had today in my first visit. And they have a bar, table service, and an authentic ambiance to go with the food. My small order of guacamole was better than store-bought — it was fine. Salsa ranchera was fresh though very mild. Corn tortillas were fabulously fresh and hot. Chips were stale and not worth the calories. I’ll be back to try more and may change my rating. For Chicagoland this seems to be 3-star Mexican. By a national American standard, it’d be 4 stars.

Food and service were both great! Had a pitcher of the mixed mango and strawberry margarita(frozen) and it was phenomenal. It’s a bit pricey but worth every penny, cannot even taste the tequila. Ordered the quesadilla grande and chicken fajitas, both were really good and enough food to feed 3 people(leaving leftovers). Our server bibiano was very attentive and kind. He definitely made the experience much better by providing fast and prompt service! I would recommend coming here on Mondays for $ 5 house margaritas!

Mexican food is my thing, I just love it, and Laredo’s is most definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! I’ve eaten here twice in the past two weeks, in fact. Laredo’s is a pretty small place, but typically I’m seated right away. The atmosphere is what you’d expect — traditional Mexican paintings, dim lighting. There is always a handful of people working, several of which are at the front of the restaurant by the host’s desk. I’ve had the same waiter the last two times I was there, and he was extremely friendly. Their food is delicious! When you’re first seated, you get a basket of fresh-out-of-the-oven tortilla chips with a little bowl of tasty salsa. I usually order enchiladas or quesadillas, along with a Beer Rita(yum!), table side guacamole, and fried ice cream(if I’m feelin’ it). They have a great variety of choices on their menu — you really never have to order the same thing twice. They have multiple kinds of enchiladas and quesadillas, which I love — I can get different meats, different fillings, and different sauces every time I go! Plus, Their menu is also very, very affordable. Their fresh guacamole, which is handmade right in front of you, is $ 2 less than other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to, including chains! The only complaint I have is the pricing on their lunch menu — the quesadillas are priced a little high considering they don’t come with a side. Other than that, everything is great!

Where do I start? Chips. Eh. Store bought chips warmed up by a heat lamp. Salsa was okay needed salt added to have some flavor. Guacamole was table side that was cool. It was good. The lady was confused running table to table trying to remember who all ordered it. The margaritas needed more tequila! Had two from a pitcher and not even a giggle buzz. Each pitches holds 4 drinks. Might have been more but there’s so much ice in the pitcher I wouldn’t know. The food… The only thing that look good was the giant quesadilla and I didn’t get it. Burrito was meh with some mysterious flavorless cheese sauce on top. The beans and rice look like a child portion. The meals are over priced for what one gets. Then! I used the check in 10% off Unilocal coupon. The waiter took my phone twice and walked around asking what to do. Then he comes back asking me for the code and on the bottom said show the manager for discount. I got up and showed it to someone and said okay he will take the 10% off. Overall, I’m glad I live so far away and probably will never come back here. There’s so many other choices for Mexican food that’s better… Like Taco Bell

This place sucks. I came here for a group event and yeah, the service was fine, but the food was whatever. The drinks were garbage. Sour mix with water.gross. The restaurant itself needs a massive overhaul. Oh– and don’t go into the bathrooms… disgusting with tons of holes punched in the walls. Creepy.

As everyone else has mentioned the tableside guac is really good. Portions are generous and they can make it spicy if you like. Its very fresh and well worth the $ 7 bucks. The downside was the chile relleno lunch plate I ordered. The rice and beans were fine but the chile was just sad. I literally felt bad for the chile on my plate, it deserved so much better. It was covered in an oily tasteless breading that added nothing to the dish. There was no flavor save grease and cheese. I pushed that sorry sucker to the side and helped myself to the rest of the guacamole.

Came here with co-workers for lunch and we enjoyed it. They have really good, fresh guacamole that they make table-side. It was chunky with tomatoes and good flavor. I think their chips are a bit overcooked for my taste but they we ok. For lunch, I ordered the Chicken Tacos with rice and beans on the side. The chicken was very juicy and tender but lacked flavor. The rice and beans were very tasty. The service was great — our waiter was funny and we had a great time joking with him about wanting to drink a margarita(even though we had to go back to work). Overall, A-OK and I’d go back again.

I have been here 3 times and each time, the beans were so salty, I was unable to eat them. The tacos were ok I guess. They were forgettable enough, that a week later I don’t recall what they tasted like. My biggest beef was the the margaritas. The pitchers we ordered were at least 2⁄3 filled with ice, not alcohol and were a rip off.
