The Maids

So incredibly disappointed. We have had cleaning services before, and have been delighted. I have had a rough couple years (extreme morning sickness with preg, other medical complications) so our house is a disaster. We have been boxing unwanted stuff up to send to storage for a later sale, as well as having someone come and paint our rooms. Our house is in disarray.
My husband hired the maids to help me out, and we intended to have them come every other week. Our initial cleaning was supposed to be a «deep» cleaning. When they arrived (4 people) I spoke with the one who spoke English and told them FLOOR to ceiling in the kitchen and bathrooms. I really wanted them to get into every nook and cranny in both. I didn’t really care as much about the rest of the house, polish furniture, dust and vac.
I come home after several hours and… total disappointment. I have a one year old, and as I walked into the living room the sun was shining on the coffee table which was still covered in his handprints and snacks. I looked at the side table, and there was still milk. Kitchen? I told them I really wanted the wood trim clean, floor to ceiling clean the kitchen… nope, still filthy.
I called and spoke to the owner and she came out to correct those. Later I check out the rest of the house and gave up. Bathrooms? Not cleaned. I went to throw a bar of soap out the day of, and it hit the base board and left some residue… still there and VERY noticeable. My 9 year olds bathroom still had tooth paste on the wall by the hand towel. (We sound disgusting, I promise it’s not that bad)
So, here I sit pregnant, sick and $ 300 later with a house that they didn’t clean. I could have bought a crib with that… as well as several other things. It’s so disappointing!
My mother in law sent over white glove cleaning a long time ago, and they were amazing. Maybe we will try them and spend another $ 300. Thanks a lot!

After an initially good few cleanings their quality steadily declined. Having spoken to one of the owners the next cleaning was better and then quality declined yet again. I cancelled my service and highly recommend anyone else to LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT company. After canceling one of the owners said they would mail my house key back to me… apparently she forgot to mention she wasn’t paying for the postage and if I want my key I now have to go retrieve it from the USPS. Incredibly unprofessional.
