I don’t know how they do it, but these are insanely good snow cones/shaved ice. The wedding cake is still to this day probably the best snow cone I’ve had. Only quasi-disappointment was when I tried a root beer with cream and it was so-so — in hindsight, root beer may not be the best shaved ice flavor. I still ate most of it and enjoyed it. Really large portions too — I’ve yet to be able to finish a small.

After hearing many good things about Bob’s, I dropped in one day to try it out. I got a small blue coconut with cream. The cream was recommended by the person working(who was very nice and helpful) and I must say I liked the cream which I have never tried because I usually get condensed milk on top. The shaved ice was a nice texture not too crunchy like some places I have tried. I would recommend it if someone in the area wanted it but nothing that special that I would make a trip for.

So good. I’ve tried so many flavors and combinations of mix ins and I’m so happy every time, like a little kid at a candy store. You must try adding chili or cream or milk. So yummy n refreshing! They’re only open a few months out of the year(spring/summer months) and are located outside next to bob’s taco stand. Cash only! And watch for the wasps and bees hanging by the windows.

Wow! I would never have expected to find such a fantastic snoball place in the old part of town that is Rosenberg. Let’s just say we were very pleasantly surprised. The first and most important part of any snoball is the ice. Period. Ice must have that perfect texture: smooth, soft, fluffy and easily packed just like a real snowball. Bob’s has it. None of that chunky, hard like a roughly chopped ice cube ice. This is THE snoball ice. Snoballs need flavor and they need sweetness but they need these in balance. Again, Bob’s nails it. The flavors are of good variety and more are added and rotated. One of our favorite flavors we have tried is cherry and it was indeed very cherry, fruity and had the perfect amount of sweetness. On the recommendation of the guy working there we tried the orange creamsicle. Even though we always get our snoballs sans crème, we did order this particular one with the cream. Again, the guy working there assured us we would love it and that this is the best way to enjoy this flavor. He knew what he was talking about. It was exactly like a rich, cold dreamy creamsicle. Snoballs come in tiny, small, medium, large and extra large. There’s a size for everyone and every appetite. Prices are reasonable. With the weather beginning to warm and yucky heat and nasty humidity just around the corner, a snoball can be very helpful. Bob’s is worth the little drive out to Rosenberg.

Whether you live in town or are just passing throguh, the quick detour for a snoball is well worth it. You must stop in. We decided to come down to Rosenberg after the Hot Sauce festival to try out Bob’s Taco Station after we saw it on Triple D. Although we were pretty full after a delicious meal, we decided to try out the Dreamsicle Snoball. I have no idea how snoballs are made, but they are fantastic. Somehow the Ice gets infused with flavor and doesn’t taste watery at all. More than that, the Dreamesicle flavor was creamy and utterly delicious. To make things even better than that though, you can have them top it with a bit of sweet cream that just adds to the creaminess and makes it, by far, the most amazing snow cone I have ever had in my entire life.
