We went on opening day, and were generally pleased with the service /cleanliness of the store. I was really looking forward to it opening since the lot had been vacant for so long after 59 diner closed. But, unfortunately it was not worth the wait. Both my tacos were very bland, and the chicken had bits of gristle(cannot stand gristle!!). I rate it a tiny step up from Taco Bell.

I love El Pollo Loco restaurants so I was so excited to see one open up out in this neck of the woods. I’m hoping that the management at this one is as good as the one on highway 6 because I think this one needs to be whipped into shape. The place was not clean, but they were not busy at all. Maybe a little under staffed if they don’t have enough people to keep the place clean. I also was a little disappointed to find icky looking lettuce in my salad and the pico seemed a little old. The grilled chicken was fine but my salad was supposed to have cojito cheese but they didn’t put any on it. I’ll try this place again in a couple weeks and update my review then.

Ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Grilled Tostada(under 500 cal menu). After I open it up to start eating, there was no shrimp and no sweet mango salsa. There was pico de gallo but this is not the same when you’re expecting mango salsa. I certainly will be double checking my food before driving off. The chicken was fine. Nothing spectacular. I do like that there are several options under 500 calories.

Unfriendly staff,… They were out of CHICKEN breasts, but kindly offered to substitute legs and thighs and still charge me full price. No thanks.

I came here(01/04/2016). I was a little skeptical but to my surprise, I actually like the food. They have a 500 and below menu which offers a healthy alternative. After eating the shrimp and chicken tostada, I didn’t feel heavy at all. The food was good, it felt healthy. I mean it’s not taco cabana, but if you’re looking for a healthier alternative, this is the way to go. The green salsa was really good too btw! What’s a tostada without salsa?

Very good chicken enchilada, reminiscent of the true Mexico enchilada. No fussy taco house here, just really good food.

Pretty good food at a fair price. Everyone greets you when you walk in the door and the staff comes around and refills your drink which is unique for a fast food restaurant. I ordered a chicken burrito and a tamale. Both were a decent size and were pretty good. The hottest sauce they had wasn’t that hot to me, it seemed kind of mild but had decent flavor. The chicken looked really good and seemed to be the popular choice. They cook it on an open flame with two sides and a drink for a little over $ 6. Not too bad at all. Worth a stop for sure.
