Delicious BBQ! I had the brisket sandwich and Mac and cheese. Brisket was some of the best I’ve had, so moist and tender, mm. It didn’t need any sauce, it’s that good. The Mac and cheese is also delicious, it’s very sticky(but not in a bad way at all)! I believe they use real cheese and this is the reason. My fiancé had sausage and buttered red potatoes, he said the sausage was very good. Buttered red potatoes were delicious and cooked to perfection! I will definitely be back.

Truly the best Bar-B-Q I have ever had — and I have eaten BBQ all over the country. You will not be disappointed. Beats those chain restaurants like a drum.

My oldest son and I have a bucket list item to eat at all of the Top 50 Texas Monthly BBQ joints. This adfternoon we wandered over to a small restaurant where the meat is cut when you order it, and the menu is as wide and diverse as any I have seen in most places. I wish I were hungrier so that I could have ordered the stuffed BBQ Potato(a Texas thing) definitely verboten by my cardiologist, but as long as I owe him money, I figure he has a vested interest in keeping me alive. Typically the stuffed potato is ½ of two large Idaho potato, with the ends rounded off, and joined length wise. Once all of the toppings are are put over the top you look like you have a monster potato covered with(at Witt’s) the following: butter, sour cream cheddar cheese chives, brisket chopped up and sauce To say Witt’s is wonderful is an understatement. We had both brisket(fat end and thin) or properly known point and flat. Both sides were moist juicy and tender. The bark was beautiful and tasty. Great brisket on par with the best of the best Snow and Franklin. The owner is no slouch, and is a nice guy. We were able to talk quite a bit about his business(about 11 months old), and he was candid and honest about his products. I mentioned that the sausage was not among the top’s in Texas and he said that was his biggest issue since he does not have the ability to source the top sausages or make his own. That is THE only downside to Witt. Since Texas is brisket, you notice he got an unequivocal 5 stars. Hopefully on my next visit to Texas, he will have a better sausage maker and I can try his turkey and chicken. The ribs were very good, with a wonderful smoke and flavor. I find it hard to believe that he can get so much flavor with just salt and pepper. The guy is good. Do I give this place a thumbs up? You betcha I do, If he were in St. Louis he would kick Pappy’s and Sugar Fire in the butt.

If you want real Texas BBQ this is the place! They smoke their meats on an all wood fire and put lots of love in it! The brisket is moist and has a great bark. The sides are good as well. It’s the best BBQ in the area for sure!

Best ribs in town! The Turkey is great also and the Mac and cheese and red potatoes are to die for! The staff is super friendly. You have to try the pecan bar for dessert as well!

Wow. I was dropping off a deer at Kovasovic’s and passed this place. I called in a to-go order for my wife and I and they were super nice and made some A+ suggestions. Everything on both of our plates was DELICIOUS. I’m talking Killen’s in Pearland good. Brisket had great bark and was super flavorful and tender. Turkey was delicious. Macaroni & cheese was perfect — thick, creamy and tasty. Baked beans were on point and uniquely flavored. The roasted red potatoes were the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place.

My grandma suggested we go to this place to pick up some BBQ after we took her dog to the vet. I went inside to pick up a few plates while she waited in the car. We went on a late afternoon-early Friday evening and there was no line. I went right up to the girl and started ordering and the guy next to her started preparing as I ordered. My grandma wanted the 3 meat plate with chicken, ribs, and sausage with mac and cheese and green beans. Apparently, if you order chicken, it counts as 2 meats. So, keep that in mind if you go. I just ordered a side of sausage because what grandma wants, grandma gets. I ordered the baked potato fully loaded with chopped brisket and a side of mac and cheese because it looked really good. I also got a couple of peach cobblers as well for dessert. Although, I didn’t realize that the case sitting there on the counter was where she would be pulling MY dessert from. I thought it was just a display case. I got it anyway, but it looked pretty sketch. Took our food home and we dug in. The baked potato was pretty good, but I wasn’t really impressed with the sauce or the brisket. The sauce was kinda sweet tasting and the brisket didn’t really have any flavor. I also wished it had more toppings. However, the mac and cheese was GOOD! Like, really good. I was impressed. I tried a piece of grandma’s sausage because I love sausage and I nearly spit it out. It had absolutely no flavor and it seemed really grisly. It reminded me of Eckrich sausage. Yuck! Grandma liked her chicken a lot though. I didn’t try it. She had a grasp on it like she didn’t want anyone near her. I guess it was really, really, really good. The peach cobbler was okay. It looked really weird and watery. I couldn’t finish it. It was really sweet and had a good flavor, but I couldn’t get over the texture. All in all, I probably won’t be back. Mostly because I don’t live in the area. But if grandma suggests going again, I’ll try to suggest somewhere else.

Tried for the first time the other day and loved it. Great food, friendly faces, good price & loved the back patio dining porch. We had 2 plates 1 mest 2 sides each, chicken, which was awesomely seasoned & prepared, brisket was very tender & tasty… sides were good too, buttered potatoes, green beans, baked beans & potato salad… well worth the random stop…

Drove past this place and noticed the name change. Stopped in yesterday and ordered the 2 meat plate. For the price, the 2 meat plate includes a lot of food and a lot of meat. Brisket — very tender, fat was rendered out completely and it had a nice peppery bark and thick smoke ring but wasn’t too smoky flavored — it was just right. Turkey — very tender and moist. Great peppery bark. Went well with the brisket. Sauce — forgot to try it and it didn’t need any. Will return. Best BBQ around that I have found so far. Only nitpick is the 2 tables inside were filled so I had to eat in the sweltering heat, thankfully they had a swamp cooler doing duty to keep it manageable under the shade.

I’ve been looking forever for a place like this, I’m so selective. Melt in your mouth ribs.; and all the while it was right under my noise. Service is awesome as well. Oh, and how did I forget to mention the sides, one word«delicious», and they serve you enough to have leftovers.

Well above average BBQ. I usually order brisket when out for barbecue, but I also really enjoyed the turkey at Witt Pitt. No concern in recommending WP.
