Gina Maries Timeless Sweets

I miss Gina Marie’s Vanilla Frozen Custard sooo very much!!!
I loved coming in for a large frozen custard cone after eating pizza & sushi at
Chefs On Fire.
Gina Marie is a vibrant, outgoing, lovely woman who I had the pleasure of befriending before she closed. She loves people & made everyone feel most welcome.
I loved her décor of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, The Godfather. It was a wonderful place!

I come up to Rosendale and the New Paltz area every month or so. The town of Rosendale is great with an old style movie theatre right out of the 50’s!
I enjoy 50’s themed restaurants and was thrilled to have discovered this place upon my ride into Rosendale.
Upon entering I noticed how nice and bright it is inside, with a real 50’s vibe!
The is a large counter with retro style red stools to sit on as well as booths.
I took a seat t the «classic counter» Lots of good things on the Menu! I decided to get the 8 oz burger and fires! As I sat at the counter I noticed all the flavors of ice cream!
The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I ordered my burger with cheese, LTO and mushrooms! As I waiting for the meal to arrive the owner Gina Marie came out. She told me all about how she purchased the restaurant and how their Custard is the best in the entire Hudson Valley!
The burger came out after about 15 minutes (everything is made fresh and one must allow time for a good meal to be properly prepared)
The young waitress brought out my meal and WOW WHAT A BURGER!
We are not talking about a frozen run of the mill patty. This WAS a MONSTER BURGER with big slices of tomato crisp lettuce, tangy onion, and real portabella mushrooms with all American cheese on top!
As I bit into the BIG MOUTH BURGER the juices dripped onto the plate, no frozen patty, only a hand formed burger allows the juices to drip onto the plate!
The fries were also crispy and tasty!
Gina asked how everything was and my replay was «OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!»
She said she would make me up a small custard to try,. I was pretty full but decided to «GO FOR IT»
Well I am glad I did as it was one of the best ice cream experiences I have had! Rich and flavorful melt in your mouth heaven!
From the food to the ice cream to the atmosphere and the friendly staff you can’t go wrong at Gina Marie’s!
