I think this place is better than Pieology. same concept but crust is not as paper thin. The crust is actually crunchy and strong enough to hold up your toppings unlike Pieology the crust gets soggy and too thin which breaks when you put too many toppings. These places let you add as much toppings as you want so why not load it up!!! :)

I was contacted by management after my experience here and they were truly interested in hearing on what had happened and what they could do to fix it. They invited us back on their dime to give them a try. I had a much better experience at the restaurant. I truly appreciate a business that goes the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy. The pizza is not my favorite in the area but it was alright.

Terrible service today. Ordered a pizza online at 1:15 and it was supposed to be ready at 1:45. I get there and there is no line and walked up to the cashier and told them that i ordered and payed online and that im picking up my order. I was there at 1:45 and they had no knowledge of my order. I had to wait another 15 minutes. While I waited two employees were just standing there talking(didn’t catch their names but it was the girl with two toned hair and Harry potter tattoo on the back of her neck and a guy with lettering tattoo on the back of his right arm.) they weren’t doing anything and not paying attention to the ready orders sitting directly in front of them, so i went up to the counter and asked where my order was again, and she had to look around and found it right where they were just standing and i was waiting for them to call my order, which they never did. After looking at my receipt it says: Pinted at 1:24 Promised at 1:45 They had plenty of time to make my order especially when they have an oven that can cook pizzas fast. Not coming here again

Pizza and beer for $ 12.95. Great deal! You build your own with unlimited topping. They were generous with the toppings also — I though they would sprinkle 4 mushrooms on and call it good but nooooo. Many mushrooms. Cooked to order so it took a few minutes but worth it. I liked it, and I’m not even really a pizza person. Boyfriend would’ve been very very happy, but he was not here tonight. His loss. Big enough pizza for one hungry eater(boyfriend) or for somebody else — dinner and lunch for tomorrow.

A great«make your own pizza» type of restaurant. You can choose as many toppings as you want, and with me i try to get the most bang for my buck so i get every single meat topping. The price comes out to be around $ 8, which is fair seeing that im pretty stuffed after my meal. Its very similar to blaze pizza but the interior is a bit smaller. The main difference that I noticed was they used a different style crust than blaze, which I thought tasted better. Was overall satisfied and will be going there if I’m ever craving pizza and am nearby.

The pizza was very good. The toppings were very fresh and even my picky kids enjoyed it. It is very busy and the lines got very long while we were there.

Amazing pizza place, only $ 7.95 per pizza with unlimited toppings. I used to be a huge round table pizza fan but their pizza is just too expensive. I used to only get 2 toppings at round table since they charge you an arm and a leg for each topping. After eating here I was not only hooked on their pizza but I was surprised on how many toppings they have available. They fire cook the pizza after you sort out your toppings and their pizza dough is amazing. Try it out, you may just get hooked.

Came here on a FREEPIZZA giveaway, #blast825! which was on August 25, 2015… i was so excited for the giveaway, and ready to make a generous donation for a fundraiser they were doing. You either get a salad or a pizza. The wait was about 10 mins, since we were the first one in line. later on in the evening my friends finally made it to the event and the wait was nearly 2 hours. Vibe I was craving a good hearty half and half pizza! I made a half pizza with pesto garlic chicken veggie and the other half with smoked bbq meatball veggie pizza! i like creating my very own pizza and getting 2 in one pizza is just plain awesome! The vibe i got off the pizzerita aka(baristas for making drinks, so making pizza is called pizzerita), were they were very friendly and had bright smiles. They were welcoming and i felt comfortable coming in. overall i will repeat with this location! Layout Nice simple layout with lots of seating, including booths, tables, and higher tables as well. Lots of walk rooms and a nice patio out too. Salad I was browsing their salad menu, everything sound so good, i couldn’t decide, so i made my own. i ended up putting everything in it. lol… i named it the SLOPPYSPICYPEPPERONIROASTEDVEGGIESALAD I added mixture of romaine and lettuce as well, topped with chicken, salami, spicy pepperoni, roasted garlic, roasted mushrooms, roasted onions, roasted squash, cherry tomatoes, red onions, cranberries, mozzarella cheese, olive oil, and pesto, tossed well, with a side of azn chicken salad dressing. the salad came out so big, it was split into 2 containers. one container to dine in, one was togo with the left over pizza i got. The pesto sauce was rich, so i don’t need much of the asian dressing. It was very refreshing and with all the roasted veggies it gave me the hot summer vibe.

Blast 825 Pizza is a fun concept for bringing more customization and interest into pizza. The concept is simple, custom pizza with your choice of unlimited toppings, and is similar to Chipotle where their staff prepares your custom pizza in front of you. The location in Roseville is right across from the Galleria tucked in near other new and modern restaurant options. The experience is a little overwhelming for a first-time visitor. The process is somewhat explained on the TV monitors when you enter, but after that things are a little less clear. You choose a par baked crust — everyone gets a small personal size pizza — and choose the sauce, cheese, and toppings. I was impressed by the overall selection and chose the spicy marinara with smoked mozzarella, meatballs, bacon, and roasted onions and garlic. The process was pretty fast, but you will have to wait a few minutes while your creation is baking at 825 degrees — hence the name! Ultimately, it really comes down to the pizza. Even with the variety, I found the overall pizza to be somewhat average. The crust suffered from the partial baking process and was more like a flatbread pizza. The toppings were nice, but the roasted garlic and onions lacked the good caramelization usually found with those options. While I understand the novelty of the concept, it is hard to compete with a more traditional pizza experience. Blast probably gets really crowded during peak times with the ordering and cooking process taking a lot of time. But with so many other superior options available for good to great pizza, it is hard to love an otherwise average pizza.

Thanks to our Unilocal Buddies Alex T. and William L. for tipping on Unilocal that Blast 825 Pizza on Galleria Boulevard was having a Free pizza promotion for one day only 8÷25÷2015. Blast 825 Pizza was promoting their pizza as well as trying to raise money for the Placer S.P.C.A. We got here around 1:30pm hoping to by-pass the large lunch crowd. I was anticipating long lines for this promotion, but actually the line was not long at all. This was our first time eating here. Plenty of parking in the shopping center. Blast Pizza give you so many options in building your own pizza. First you choose your dough.(Original, Wheat, Gluten Free) Then you choose your sauce,(Marinara, White Sauce, Infused Olive Oil, BBQ, Pesto). Thirdly you choose your cheese.(Blast Blend, Mozzarella, Feta, Gorgonzola, Non Dairy Cheese) Finally you choose your Unlimited Toppings! There are over 25 items to choose from. You can choose one item up to all 25 to put on your pizza! This is only a small sample of your many choices to choose from.(Roasted Chicken, Spicy Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Fresh Basil, Mushrooms, Roasted Red Peppers, Pineapple, Black Olives) and list goes on and on! If you don’t want to make your own pizza, you can have one of their(Pizza Favorites)(825 California)(The I-5)(BBQ Chicken)(Margherita)(Island Blast) and the(Classic Cheese). My wife and I both chose to build our own pIzza. She likes the BBQ sauce with BBQ chicken, mushrooms and pineapple. I tried something different and went with Pesto Sauce, Blast Blend Cheese, and a little of everything! Both looked and tasted amazing! The interior was not your typical pizza parlor. It reminded me of an upscale café. The place was super clean and well lit. Plenty of seating for everyone! We only came for the pizza today but they also serve salads. It works just like building your pizza but instead you will be building your salad. First you choose your greens. Second you choose your unlimited toppings(over 40 items)! Finally you choose your dressing. If you rather not build your own salad you can choose one of their salad favorites(Chicken Caesar, Asian Chicken Salad, Cranberry Chicken Salad, Mediterranean Salad). For those dessert lovers out there! They have(Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies and Chocolate Chip Marshmallow Sandwich) As busy as this place was, the service was fantastic! The employees behind the counter making your pizza did exactly what they were told without skipping a beat. The pizza baker did an awesome job cooking the pizza! I was impressed on how well the baker was able to keep track and rotate all the pizzas in the oven all at the same time.(Amazing!) We really enjoyed the experience of creating our own pizza here at Blast Pizza! My wife does not usually eat pizza, but after having eaten your pizza here today, she has(SEENTHELIGHT!) Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

After 4 visits, I’m totally giving Blast 825 Pizza in Roseville a big thumbs up! On 8÷25÷2015, me, Alex T, Janelle, Amy, and Janelle’s daughter are heading to this Roseville location for a free pizza giveaway. As I entered along with my buddies, the atmosphere is remarkable. Very contemporary feel with the friendliest employees serving the customers who wanted to order BYO pizzas or salads. The concept is much similar to Chipotle, Pieology, and Blaze Fast’n Fired Pizza although the dough is totally fresh and prepared, so it feels like making a homemade pizza dough. For the employees as I mentioned, they’ve done a good job for making the customer’s orders right. No problems or issues at all! I decided to order the BYO pizza with the regular handmade dough topped with red classic sauce, cheese, my choice of proteins and veggies, and finishing touches. So far, it tasted very good! The flavors did really locked very well, so you can eat the entire pizza right through your stomach! The crust did it perfection without overburns. For the medium sized drink request, I drank the unsweetened iced tea. It tasted not so well cause it has the little sweetness on it. I hope it needs to remove the unknown sweetness of the unsweetened iced tea in the future. A well, worthy meal! There’s some good, ample of parking space available which means you don’t have to worry to find the perfect spot to park! To conclude, Blast 825 Pizza in Roseville is a great pizza creation restaurant ever made! Highly recommend!

Basically today’s date was 8÷25÷15 and Blast 825 Pizza was giving away pizza or salad but we eat a lot of salad so pizza was the choice of the day. Though pizza was free they had requested donations toward Placer SPCA. That seemed fair enough! My husband and I aren’t big on eating pizza but it’s sometimes hard for us to pass up on a freebie item. I knew the restaurant opened up at 11AM and I got enticed by Unilocal Eliters Janelle and William! So here we took a drive from Elk Grove all the way to Roseville. Crazy huh? I knew kind of where the vicinity of the restaurant location but it was when we finally got there we eventually inched ourselves over there! And there wasn’t a line out the door yet! First time here and first time trying out Blast 825 Pizza! I know what kind of pizza I prefer and it’s the chicken barbecue so I went basically with that except to exclude the cilantro and added pineapple, mushrooms and red peppers. Our wait was not bad maybe at most ten minutes. I actually liked my creation and not my hubby’s bc he had pesto sauce which I am not a big fan of. He probably did that on purpose! The place looks contemporary and somewhat new. It was overtaken by the presence of people just because of the present day promotion! It was too good to pass up. I’m actually glad I did as I enjoyed my pizza; probably more so than others. Normally I’m not a huge fan of pizza but maybe now that I enjoyed mine that might change!!! Blast 825 Pizza you converted me! I will be back in time… Actually living in Elk Grove, I believe one is being built just down the street! So there I will eat more pizza now!!!

Awesome pizza! Came here for a to-go pizza and did a build your own. Not much of a line so I went through pretty quick. Great selection of sauces, meats, cheeses, veggies, they have it all! For my order I did the regular crust with white sauce and pesto, the three-cheese blend, chicken, bacon, red onions, roasted red peppers, and spinach. This was a great combo and I highly recommend it! The crust was awesome. The thickness was just right, not too much or too little, and it had a great crisp on the outside. Soft, but cooked, on the inside. All of the toppings tasted very fresh. I haven’t been to one of these«quick-fire» pizza places before and I was impressed at just how fast it cooked! I think from the time I walked in the door to walked out was 10 minutes. And just a little over $ 8 too! I will definitely come back, especially to try their four lemonades!

This is another one of the«build-your-own» pizza places, but truly a step above the rest! After being greeted by friendly staff, I noticed the décor of the place: Modern and welcoming. With high tops, booths and regular tables, there is a variety of seating to get comfortable and stuff your face. I was eager to get in line and put on my feedbag. Due to the well trained staff, creating my custom pizza was quick and easy. I was incredibly impressed with the selection of cheeses and meats. Can you say MEATBUFFET? I had a gluten free crust, with homemade marinara and the«blast blend» cheese(amazing and melts so well). Also, I piled on a variety of fresh veggies(sometimes they have fresh pineapple, amazing!) and smoked chicken which they also make. Roasted garlic, smoked mushrooms and fresh basil snipped on top when it came out of the oven made my feast delish! They also have about 10 finishing salts and toppings including«Fajita», «Garlic Salt», «Spicy» and«Cajun» to name a few. I saw cookies with chocolate and marshmallows, huge HUGE salads, and beer and wine. They also have a variety of sodas, and four, count em’ four different blends of lemonade. Seriously Blast? You rock! What more could you want? So what makes this different from the other DIY pizza places? The crust. It is hand formed, not put in a machine. It puffs up and is not a flat cracker. I read they make it by hand every day, as well as creating their own sausages and using the freshest ingredients they can find. Farm to Fork in full force. The proof is in the pie, and it was amazing. I am going back to get a huge salad and try the other crust soon. Drooling.

I have been to a few different«make your own» pizza places in the area and always have a great experience and Blast 825 was no exception. First off, the bad. Compared to other similar pizza places, I found Blast 825 to not have as many topping and sauce choices as other places. They only have a few sauces, a few dough selections, fewer cheeses and some veggies and meat choices. Now, the good. I did like their topping bar at the end by the registers, because it had various seasonings and spices that were different to add to your creation to make it pop. I also like that all their salads are fresh and customizable. They have a few different juice selections and the space is nice and big and clean. Yay! I like minimal ingredients on my pizza so I choice their regular crust, regular pizza sauce, mixed cheese and kalamata olives and mushrooms. A few minutes later my pizza was done and at my table to eat. Yummy! It was quite good with a nice crispy crust and fresh flavors. It was my mistake picking the kalamata olives because they were WAY too salty, so I’ll just pick the regular ones next time. I had a great time at Blast 825 and would come back again when in the area. All the employees were super friendly and helpful and went above and beyond with everything they did.

Very Good DIY Pizza! SITREP There is an interesting phenomena going on in the restaurant industry of late, and that is the«Do-It-Yourself»(DIY) format for food. There’s varying degrees of this process ranging from the outright buffets where you put all the food on the plate yourself to the«You-Tell-The-Employee» what you want on your burrito(Chipolte) or your pizza(Pieology, Blaze, and now Blast) and it comes out EXACTLY as you ordered. THESETUP Blast 825 Roseville(aka«Blast») is located across from the Roseville Galleria, and so went in the other day and I really liked what I got in terms of their place and their DIY-pizza. Blast is easy to get into from I-80, comes with a nice size parking lot, Blast has a colorful interior & smells fantastic with all the wonderful scents, the Blast staff are super-friendly and great to deal with, and all this leads to getting a nice personal pizza placed in front of you. FRESHINGREDIENTS — FARM-TO-FORK Blast takes great pride in using the freshest seasonable ingredients, whether that be the:(1) The grains that make up their dough;(2) the tasty sauce choices;(3) the many cheeses, including Mozzarella, Parmesan, and Bleu;(4) the fresh meat selections, including Pepperoni & Sausage; and, of course, the fresh veggies, everything from mushrooms(both fresh and their roasted seasoned mushrooms are amazing), and onions to black olives! DONEIN A FLASH! And when placed in the wood-burning stove, the pizza is literally done in a flash(like 5 mins), with just the right about of «crispness» to the edges, but not too much, but with a well-cooked center and delicious melted cheese! OVERALL This has become a very competitive market, and being familiar with the pizza businesses such as Blaze and Pieology — the direct competitors to Blast — you do notice some of the distinctions — both good & bad — between the places. * For example, Both Pieology & Blaze have a greater variety of meat toppings and dough-selections than Blast. * But Blast is about on par with the same cheese selections. * In addition, I like Blast’s cooked pizza dough better than Blaze(which I found a bit doughy and undercooked) FINALANALYSIS As with all things, you never know if you caught someone on a bad day, with fewer ingredients, with different cooking times, with a different amount of ingredients places on the pizza, etc. etc. I will just add that I really like the direction that such establishments are going, and that I think this attentiveness to customer satisfaction is a great thing. THELOWDOWN For a really nice, fresh pizza experience, the Roseville & Rocklin areas can count on Blast pizza to provide you the best pizza-experience! I’d definitely go back in a heartbeat!

Blast is the best deal in the area. For less than $ 8 you get a deliciously filling pie with endless toppings. I probably enjoy the taste of the pizzas at Blaze a smidge more, and the quick service at Pieology a smidge more, but when it comes down to portion size at a value, Blast is where it’s at. The friendly staff take care of you and always look like they enjoy doing what they do. This is a huge plus for me. Real smiles. Almost makes me want to work here. I appreciate the different sauce options, and the myriad of toppings. They also have a variety of extras that go on top right before the pizza goes into the oven, such as gorgonzola, parm, or… is that… could it be… it is! Sriracha. I always have them sprinkle a bit of gorgonzola over the top because the oven turns this into a perfect golden crust dusted over the other toppings. Flippin’ De-LISH! Also worth noting is that beer and wine are served here. There’s plenty of room for families and groups of friends, and fun décor boasting catchphrases that make me happy. Pizza Time! Excellent! Points for the Wayne’s World reference, Blast. You’re cool. Bonus: The spice rack! So many flavors. Not just parm and peppers over this way…

Make your own pizza joints are all the rage right now. What puts Blast apart from most other pizza competitors is that they offer some ingredients that other places don’t have. They offer whole wheat pizza dough and more veggie options like squash and variety of cooked and fresh veggies. They don’t charge extra for vegan cheese either! A regular pizza is priced about the same as other places but since they don’t charge for vegan cheese like all the other places, it’s cheaper for me when I order vegan! I’m not a vegan but I do like to go vegan when there are vegan choices on the menu. I got a gluten-free and vegan pizza loaded with vegetables. I couldn’t even taste the crust difference! I love pizza and I’m so glad I can eat at Blast and not feel guilty about it. It’s true, there is such a thing as a healthy pizza!
