The food was great as always. Went during the lunch rush which is a bad idea because of the seating and noise factor. Did not have to wait for a table today though which was great. Today I was feeling a bit adventurous and ordered Santa Fe chicken nachos but with shrimp added and pepper jack cheese. This was a great combination and came out exactly how I wanted

Great service and even greater food. My only complaint is the chips. I got the mahi mahi burrito and not only was it extra large(got a whole meal out of my leftovers the next day), but it was also extremely tasty; plenty of light fish. My 80 year old mother who never finishes a meal thoroughly enjoyed her Mexican gumbo and slurped every last spoonful. Definitely recommend.

The manager was very rude! The policy about not being able to sit first before you order is absolutely crazy! Also our friend asked multiple times about onions in there plate and they swore up and down there was no onions, low and behold there was ONIONS!

I dont like Unilocal, and I never use the app to write reviews because I have better things to do than to pretend I’m a critic. I only use Unilocal for my own personal business, But I love this place so much that I’m willing to post a review. I come into this restaurant at least once a week because it’s near my work. EVERYONE is so freaking nice and helpful! I feel so welcomed every time I come in. The employees take the time to know me by name and what I usually like to get, and help to give suggestions when I feel like stepping outside the box. Their ordering for Togo is super quick, I know I can count on Dos on Douglas to get my order out quickly. And! On top of their excellent customer service, the food is freaking amazing every single time I come in. Dos coyote you’re doing something right :)

I don’t know if they changed the cook or the ingredients. I used to love their tacos but I am very disappointed now. Las 2 weeks their steak tacos had less lettuce and less cheese. also I notice that are smaller. they used to put one taco in a big plate since the taco was full of lettuce and cheese, also for the ships. Now they just put a few strings of cheese that looks like imitation cheese. I drive from Sacramento to Roseville every weekend just to have my favorite Dos Coyotes tacos but I am very disappointed now!!!

Pretty good for a chain restaurant. No, it’s not authentic, but they don’t pretend to be. Salads, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, and chips/salsa. Everything was really fresh and tasty. Plus the portion sizes were HUGE. You could easily split a salad and still be completely full. Recommend: Shrimp burrito or any of the salads

I had lunch with my friend yesterday(11⁄6) around 12:30PM. The place was packed. I was worried I wasn’t going to get our food in a timely manner since I have to be back at work in an hour, but I was quite impressed. Food came out in 10 minutes! Thank you Dos Coyotes for providing my friend and I our meal in a timely manner. I plan to come back

Good food, but out of the last 6 times we have eaten there they have literally messed something up in our order 5 of those 6 times. It’s getting comical. They are nice about it but still annoying we never get to eat together someone is always waiting for something or a new item.

So I’m giving them 3 stars, not because of the food but because of the service. The food was amazing as always. The problem I have is with the service is that while ordering a young kid in a pink shirt and longer hair threw a magnet at the girl taking our order. It not only startled the both of us but it also stopped her from doing her job and asking me to repeat what I said. Fine, I was young once I get flirting. Eventually, the same guy came out to deliver our food — no personality with us at all — and he was in such a hurry to get back to goofing off behind the counter that he set my plate on the edge of the table forcing me to grab for it which was hot by the way. The rest of his shift(he left at 9 pm) consisted of him making loud obnoxious noises behind the counter which echoed throughout the dining area. I get flirting and what not but it was just poor service. His training could definitely be improved upon.

Im always pleased when we eat here. The Yucatan Chicken Salad is delishes. The Burritos are always good. The staff is friendly and the place is always clean. The line is always long though but moves fairly fast. They have a large assortment of bottled drinks, to choose from. They are good for lunch or dinner. Dinner time tends to get packed so we often take to go.

Food is very good. My compliments to the chef and that is all. 3 stars because every time we have gone something has been wrong with our order. We’ve gone a lot lately because for some reason it’s a pregnancy craving but every time something has been wrong. Didn’t give us guacamole when we had paid for a side, lost our ticket and didn’t bother trying to find us so our food got cold but they fixed it, gave my husband sour cream when he didn’t want it, there were other ones that I can’t remember. If the food weren’t so good we wouldn’t go back. It’s to the point where it’s comical for us waiting to see what will happen this time.

This restaurant provides absolutely outstanding food at reasonable prices. They serve The freshest ingredients, and their service is professional, friendly and fast. My only criticism is for all the wonderful homemade salsas, they do not serve a spicy habanero salsa. Their hottest sauce is barely medium in heat. About a year ago or so, they had a medium hot habanero sauce, but I don’t know what happened to it. Several of my coworkers have mentioned this as well. If you go to this restaurant, make sure to bring your own bottle of habanero hot sauce to add to theirs. It will greatly complement your meal and make it five stars.

I LOVE Dos. Love love love love them. I’ve been going to ones throughout the area since I was a kid, and every time I go I’m always thrilled with whatever I get. I’ve had just about everything on the menu, and it’s all amazing. Their salads are huge(I’d strongly recommend splitting them with a friend), their salsa bar is the best one around, and the service is always great. Get the avocado-based green salsa when you go.

I told them multiple times that my wife is allergic to ONIONS, and they swore that there were none in what she ordered. Guess what there was ONIONS in her tacos! Now she will be sick for 3 days. Not the managers fault, just the dumbing down of society. Don’t trust the red head with glasses, she is rude and most likely has an IQ. of 48.

It was our first time at Dos Coyotes, even though I was told about this place numerous times by my friends. So we decided to give it a try instead of going to Chipotle. I absolutely Loved it!!! We ordered Mango Steak Burrito and Chicken Border Burrito — yummy. Portions are huge, salsa bar is amazing. Definitely coming back

Dos is one of my favorite places to eat, its inexpensive, the portions are big enough to share, and its a family friendly environment. Its casual eating and the hours are good. Pros: the salads are huge, the salsa bar has a lot of options and seasonal choices. Cons: the soda fountain is an issue, it’s one of those new Coke dispensers with too many options. There is often a line to get your drink. Try the Yolo Mango Burrito, its a little spicy, and really tasty.

Went across the street from kaiser and it had cute décor. Ordered the santafe nachos, three tacos, two sodas and a plain quesedilla to go. Came out to $ 30. It did take a while to get it and the food to go seemed to be a smaller portion perhaps because they are in to go containers. The food was a little bland, but it wasn’t bad when I added sour cream and guacamole it came with in the side.

…so…it’s been about three years since my previous visit to Dos Coyotes… and we were looking for a decent spot for dinner close to where we happened to be… so back it was to DC to give them another chance to impress. I’m never all that surprised to find this place to be fairly busy and this visit was no different. The place was filled with people enjoying their dinner. A nice upgrade from my last visit is the fact that they’ve expanded a bit on their outdoor seating, which is cool since it can be a challenge to find a table. I’ve leaned to order the same thing at this place… only because I’ve been disappointed when I’ve ordered other stuff here… so Ranchero Burrito with steak it was. If anything, DC is consistent when it comes to making this dish. It’s always good. HEY! Margaritas are being served again. too bad it’s premixed Hornitos straight out of the bottle, over ice… in a short glass… but I guess it’s better than nothing. Also too bad that we spent $ 11 on two before we knew what we’d be getting… as they say… live and learn. The review would’ve been 4-star, if not for the over-priced premixed Hornitos. Overall…it’s ok. Nothing really to write home about. The salsa bar is still mediocre. The dark(black) salsa was a little better than it was the last time I was at DC, but that’s not saying much. The other salsas? Meh. Hey Dos Coyotes! How about investing in some of those little ladles that are at the others places with salsa? The wooden spoons, while cute, really don’t cut it for scooping salsa into the little plastic cups.

I love this place. I have only been here a few times, and I have had nothing but positive experiences here. The people are very nice, and always clear your plates. The environment is somewhat clean, just the normal crumbs on the floor and tables. The food is very good! I enjoy it! Others have said that it taste very blah, but I don’t think so. The prices are a little high. But you pay for what you get! If your in the area, I suggest giving this place a shot!

I love Dos Coyotes — something about their border burrito that I just love! Never had a bad experience here — prices are very reasonable ranging from $ 7 – 10 for a main entrée(burritos included). They always provide free chips and love their salsa bar! Especially their creamy green salsa — not sure what it is but it’s why I go to Dos Coyotes! I do love their salads as well — very hearty and filled to the brim with all sorts of fixings. Love their chicken border burrito — and have had their nachos as well which are pretty delicious. Have never been dissapointed in anything I’ve had at Dos Coytoes. Love the décor and atmosphere too. Also — as a bonus — they have one of those new touch screen Coca-Cola machines that allows you to create your own flavor of drink, etc. my hubby loves it for the Vanilla Coke — it gives you a lot of variety :)
