Limited selections of items, only one medium sized buffet table. Food was ok at best, water glass went empty, no refill.

Food during lunch is fresh and very tasty. I’ve had great food for dinner here once and not-so-great food at dinner once so I’m not sure which is the norm. I would have given this restaurant 4 stars for an inexpensive and quick delicious meal, but while dining there with my daughter today I used the restroom for the first time. OMG, it was discussing! Not because of any recent events either! It was discussing from not being cleaned for a LONG time. I won’t go into details here but suffice it to say that I turned the faucet on with my scarf, washed with the antibacterial soap(thank goodness) and would never have even considered touching the towel dispenser with any part of my person or clothing. I opened the door with my scarf and went back to the table with dripping hands. My scarf was then tied to my purse so it stayed away from me and the food. This experience begs the question: where do the cooks and wait staff wash their hands!!! Not sure I’ll be going there again…

My opinion is that they have a very small buffet, only a few choices, not even shrimp available. The worst Chow Mein I ever ate. The chicken was soft and tasty, I came here because some one told me the Teriyaki chicken was so good, however, after eating one piece I found the second one to have a large round piece of hard fat in it which I used my napkin to take this disgusting thing from my mouth. The third one I pulled apart before eating it and found a good size lump of fat in it also. I HATEEATINGFOODWITHLARGEPIECESOFFATINIT ! So, therefore, only 2 stars. Several people seemed to be satisfied with the food, but I was not. As I checked out they asked me how the food was and I only said OK, but really I wanted to say I will never be back. They did not even ask me if I wanted a copy of my credit card payment. As far as great oriental food restaurants, there is one big buffet restaurant in Anoka which is great, another in Roseville, and a few others I have been to, so I know great ones from so-so ones.

Good food fast delivery and reasonably priced. If I’m ever in the area again I will order again.

In a pinch, this place delivers some decent Chinese food. I only order from this place because it delivers and has decent food that tastes good when starving. Otherwise it’s overly oily and pricy for the quality.

This is my all time favorite Chinese place! I’ve only ever ordered out or take out, I want to try they cb buffet! Their wontons are small but so delicious! Sweet cream and crispy! I usually get those. I’ve tried house lo mein, sea same chicken, pork fried house, egg rolls, cashew and orange chicken. Delivery is usually 15 minutes or so. Food always arrives very hotbed the lots of extra sauces, everything is so flavorful, just writing this review makes me want to order! This is a must try!

Okay Chinese food. Not the best but worth their lower prices and free delivery. I like their house lo mein and egg foo yung with shrimp.

I went here based on the 4 star rating and reviews. It was OK, but not 4 stars. It was a typical $ 7 – 8 Chinese buffet. There was little choice on the buffet, and the chicken dishes were chewy. Like I said, typical cheap Chinese buffet. The service was good at least. I probably would look for a different place the next time. Unless it was close and I was in a hurry. I am not from this area, so maybe this is a really good Chinese place for here.

Not the best chinese food I’ve ever had but for what it is at the price you pay it’s really a good deal. The sesame chicken and cream cheese puffs are great and the delivery is always very fast.

Huge portions and really tasty. I knocked off a star because it’s crazy juicy making a mess in the bag and on your table. Highly recommend using actual dishes when eating and not eating directly from the box.

Quick takeout, and the best cream cheese wontons I think I’ve ever had. They are small and crispy and the filling is delicious.

I was searching around this evening looking for the restuarants in my area that deliver. I am working from home and it was just too much effort to get out. Mainly around here is pizza and some sandwich options. I rarely order Chinese for delivery but thought I would give these guys a try. Delivery was quick and the driver was friendly. I thought the prices were reasonable and the online orders is super easy. I saw the notice that they only deliver within 5 miles. I am not exactly how far I am but my guess is that I am right on the edge of their delivery area. I ordered the Sesame chicken with fried rice, wontons and egg rolls. My delivery came with soy sauce, hot mustard, 2 plates, plastic silverware and sweet and sour dipping sauce. Everything was piping hot and tasty. I asked for medium spice and I got that. The pop bottles are 24 oz. My only criticism would be the sweet and sour sauces was on the runny side. It tasted fine, just not the consistency I am used to. I will definitely be happy to order again. it was a good experience!

The website stated that this restaurant would deliver within 5 miles. After internet/web issue trying to see my $ 30 cart/basket, I called and was told delivery is only 3 – 4 miles. Person did not seem to care or have empathy of my experience… i said in turn an honesty that I would just order pizza though I wanted Chines Food because of all the issues and inconstancies, she said ok and goodbye… So I never got to taste the Food, never got that far so have no idea how good it is. My standards of Hong Kong, Mountain View/San Francisco Authentic Chinese Cuisine are high so who knows…

My husband and I are always on the look out for good, cheap Asian restaurants and we decided to check out New Hong Kong Wok based in part off Unilocal recommendations and also that it was close to Barley John’s where we were having happy hour. Since our initial trip, we have been back several times. I have gotten Kung Pao Tofu each time we have been there. It’s one of my favorite Chinese dishes and the fact that the«medium» spice level here is perfect keeps me coming back to the dish. My husband has tried a beef special and the fried rice — he has liked both. Like other Unilocalers have commented, New Hong Kong Wok has some of the best cream cheese wontons around and the chicken wings are the best either of us have had a cheap, Asian restaurant. The soups are a little more spotty and that is the only reason I am deducting a star — I would give them a 4.5 if that was an option. The chicken rice soup is really legit — I had it one evening when sick and the broth is super flavorful and the noodles are awesome. The egg drop soup had a stranger texture than I was used to, and the hot and sour soup was way too peppery. Another bonus? Online ordering and ready for pick-up in 10 minutes!

I’m always willing to try new places for Chinese food and was at first really just looking for a place that would deliver food. I’m not too familiar with area since I came here for business and this place was pretty close to where I was staying. I loved that they had a website where I could look at all menu items. So many Chinese places don’t even have a website and this was really helpful. When I called to place the order and even to have it delivered to my room both sides are familiar with each other since the hotel always delivers to people staying here. This really jus confirmed that this place had to be pretty good. I wanted to try a little of everything so I ordered the rib tip appetizer. I love short ribs and these weren’t in a sauce like most are which made it easier to eat and they were really tender! Definitely one of my favorites! I also got the hot and sour soup, alone with Szechuan shrimp and white rice. They all were pretty good and the flavor was the same as any other Chinese food. Usually you get like small size and quantities of shrimp but the size of what I orders was actually a decently larger size! If I lived here I would definitely order more often. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and satisfying dinner!

I went to this place, based on stellar reviews from here. I did not like it. The dish I got was«Ta Chien» chicken with broccoli. The dish had a very smoky, chemically taste to it and was very oily. This, after the woman at the counter told me that their food was not very oily and different from most Chinese places. The smoky flavor was a turn off from the beginning and i figured I just ordered a bad dish. I HATE smoky Chinese food! The spice was good though, I left it how they cook it originally. Like you«Carly, M.» I am always nervous about trying new Chinese(Asian places in general), and this place did disappoint. It was not worth the 20 min. drive there. The lack of décor and general emptiness of the restaurant, except for kids playing or watching T.V., which is common in Chinese-Asian food places, was uninspiring. My food order came out VERY fast, I would say less than 5 min from time I ordered. I was shocked! It is either a sign of cheapness and bad cooking methods, or of a really talented cook. Good food usually takes a bit of time in my experience, your experience may differ. Another Chinese place I can cross of my list.

Amazeballs! I’m always nervous trying new Chinese food, especially delivery but this place was a grand slam. I ordered by phone and I was able to easily communicate with the woman taking my order… which I find rare in Chinese restaurants. The delivery arrived much faster than we expected. And it arrived HOT! The portions are enormous. They actually stapled the top of the food container together because they couldn’t fit the tab is the slot. We ordered a large lo mein(some of the best I’ve ever had, and I eat A LOT of lo mein), a large kung pao chicken that I though would be spicier but it had the peppers in it so I feel as if I had options, small egg drop wonton soup, and the chicken terriaki appetizers. It was $ 30 total. I’m excited to make this my new Asian sensation and I know where I will be calling when I have hungry guests.

This past Sunday they delivered to my friends place. I wasn’t hungry, but as soon as I smelled their food I knew I was going to eat. It has been years since I have ordered chicken wings at a Chinese restaurant, I was glad that my friend had because they were phenomenal. So moist and the sauce was unreal. The second appetizer was the cheese wantons, a staple I always order, and this likewise blew me away. Take one of your favorite appetizers, and have it for a few years, generally a wanton is good but not great. These were beyond great. We had ordered their pork in garlic sauce, kung pao chicken(I know, I know), and a beef dish(don’t remember which). They were all really good. I don’t know how to describe Chinese food, but let’s just say that like with the cheese wantons, they took a standard dish, the kung pao chicken, and turned it into something I can order each time. I highly recommend this place.

I knew per recommendations that when I was in this area next, I was to try their cream cheese wontons(my fav). So, one Sunday I was running errands and decided to stop in. The place seemed somwhat sketchy barely noticable from the street and tucked back in the corner of a small strip mall. It was dead except for all the family members who likely worked there. They were all very polite when I put in my lonely order for some cream cheese wontons. A few people walked in to also order take out while I was waiting, so I felt better. I should not have judged ny the outside… It only took a few minutes of course, since wontons are fried, and Ii was on my way. I was impressed with the amount 10 – 12 wontons per order. They were the smallest I’d ever seen, but packed lots of flavor in the scoop of fried cream cheese. I particularly loved the thin sheet of wonton paper forming the creation. Some places have more crunch and very little filing. I highly recommend these wontons, they are bite sized, not to overpowered by the wonton paper, well wrapped, inexpensive and have a tinge of honey or sweet flavor to them! I’ll be back-yum!
