Great quality sushi, all you can eat is a steal at $ 19.99(dinner price) with a wide variety of options and a salad bar too! Friendly staff, clean restaurant, even the bathroom was very clean! Thumbs up!

AYCE sushi dinner($ 19.99 midweek!!) Ordered: +sake/hamachi nigiri +wasabi hamachi roll +miso tuna roll +tempura +donut Pros: +clean +generally good service +raw seafood was fresh +good selection of rolls and hot food items +self-service bar with seaweed salad, mussels Cons: +uncomfortable seating/lighting +midweek prices are more than I’ve seen other restaurants charge(not sure how much more it is on the weekend) +after 5th order(or request), service tends to slow down(I get it; but this is not a good thing when you’re with a large group) Good sushi and sushi rolls. Tempura was oily, overcooked(or would that be undercooked?). Donut was ok; but it’s just a donut! I read a lot of reviews about how amazing the donuts are… a little overhyped in my opinion. Unfortunately, for some reason, I can’t give them a glowing review. I’m not sure if it was the price or how service slowed down or the florescent lighting… but truly not a bad place to dine.

So excited when I saw this place in Roseville… I’m a huge fan of the West Sacramento location! The food is just the same and the quality of fish is just as good. Food alone this place would get 5 stars. HOWEVER…the service is terrible!!! First time we went, it took the server more than 30 minutes to close out our check. We sat and watched her schmooze with her friends and chit chat about school while she neglected to finish cashing us out. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought that maybe it was just a rough night so we went again. We were sat in the same server’s section and I already had a bad feeling. We sat there for over 20 minutes without being greeted. I finally gave up. Just go to the West Sac location… they seem to have their ducks in a row a lot better than this Roseville location.

This place has a very horrible service, not one but all of the servers here are rude. It takes about 15 minutes just for them to notice you’re ready to order, plus another 15 – 20 to get your plate of food. The oldest server here had no shame to help out her own race and serve their food first when I ordered first. The food is good but don’t expect It to come to you quickly.

Zero star. Thin slice of nigiri with big chunk if rice. I can’t even taste sushi. All the orders except the first initial order took a while. I can’t even give one start fir today’s experience.

This place is like a hidden gem! I was craving Japanese food after a long day at Cache Creek and I found this place. My parents wanted to get home early so I ordered Togo! I ordered a bento box, which had chicken teriyaki, California rolls, rice, salad, and mixed tempura that I got all for only $ 9! I was so surprised they have so much for so cheap! When I opened my box, I was not disappointed! There was a lot of meat, and they were nice enough to put my tempura in a different box with my sauce cause they knew it would be hard for me to eat in the car. When I got there, my order wasn’t ready but the employee was nice enough to give my mom and I miso soup for waiting! The employees there are really nice which makes me like the establishment even more. So if you are ever in the area, I suggest you should try because you won’t be disappointed!

Probably the best AYCE sushi Ive had in NorCal. Especially for the price! $ 20 for AYCE for dinner is really not that bad. Although Ive had better quality sushi before, for $ 20 I really cant complain. The service is quick and speedy. Waiters were picking up empty plates as soon as the plate was empty. The nigiri were all good, and I really enjoyed most of the rolls. Esp the Harbor roll! BOMB. I love how they give you small portions for each roll(so that I have space in my stomach to try more diff types of rolls!) They also have fried ice cream!(It’s not on the menu). They also have a little salad bar with various side dishes like mussels, seaweed salad, seasoned cucumbers, ginger, wasabi, etc.

Best in Roseville!(For the price, quality, and service). Tonight I came to eat with a friend and it was great. The service was profoundly awesome and the sushi was delicious for the price. The dinner price is $ 19.95(WHAT A DEAL!). The harbor roll is SOGOOD!

First and foremost, please, keep in mind the location of this restaurant: We are about two hours from San Francisco and depending on how fast you drive about 8 hours from Los Angeles! With the location in mind, Raku is one of the best all you can eat, made to order Sushi Restaurants in Roseville. The prices are reasonable, the service overall is on par and the fish always taste fresh. My family and visiting friends have been enjoying the Sushi for at least two years now. We dine at Raku at least once a month. We have only eaten there during lunch hours but the selection is plentiful plus they have a small salad bar to balance out all the fish we consume. The salad bar has a cabbage salad, seaweed salad, cucumber salad and a few other selections. All very tasty while your waiting for your sushi to be made! If your not a raw fish person there is still plenty to eat. They have Gyoza(similar to potstickers), deep fried foods, tempura, teriyaki chicken and miso soup along with the salad bar. We just are so happy to find an all you can eat Sushi in Roseville that is worth eating at! That is something hard to come by out here. We know!!! Check out their web page for the menu and pricing. It is easy to use and the menus are legible too!

This was the first and LAST experience I will have here. I went here for lunch with my three-year-old son this afternoon. After entering, I was not greeted for a couple minutes and by then I felt uncomfortable to sit down after everyone stared at my son and I just standing at the front door. Finally, a waitress(who was taking someone’s order) rudely sat me at a table behind her. After a couple minutes, she came over and asked for our drink order. I ordered waters for the two of us as I did not yet know what we wanted. She seemed annoyed by the fact I ordered waters which was a little uncomfortable. I then asked for a highchair since my son was getting skirmish and usually won’t sit in a regular chair without getting up a million times throughout our meal. She looked at him(which in her defense, he is a pretty large 3-year-old) and said he wouldn’t fit. I assured her that he would fit as he usually does at other restaurants. Would I rather not put him in one? Yes. Will we be able to enjoy our meal with him running around the entire restaurant? No. Therefore, I needed a highchair and I don’t feel I should have to go back and forth with someone for it. After bringing the drinks and high chair, I said I was ready to order and just ordered a single roll instead of the all you can eat. Apparently, that was another thing she didn’t like since it was $ 8 instead of the $ 13.95 price. I guess that was strike 2 with her. My son likes this«orange sauce» which I think is some sort of chipotle mayo with his rice. Anyway, I asked for two sides of it. Her reply was«I will get you one side.» I let her know I needed two sides. Once the meal came, I obviously needed one more side of this dang sauce. Our waitress was nowhere to be seen and did not come by our table one time the entire meal. She then goes to three other tables once we are now almost finished and is STILL not coming to check on us. Apparently our check was not high enough to care about. Being in the restaurant industry myself, I am 100% an over tipper. I usually over tip knowing how much the industry goes through being a server myself. This lady got a 2 cent tip from me. Something I have NEVER done at a restaurant. She was truly horrible and this was literally the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I will never be back.

We had arrived in Roseville late and checked in at our hotel. We tried to find sushi close by but the one that we found didn’t have an «all you can eat» option. We had left to find one more accommodating to our needs. I really only feel satisfied after consuming enough sushi to put myself into a coma. :) So, on to the next option! We searched up the next closest, and after throwing around a few options, we decided to go for it. Unfortunately we came in last minute, on New Years Eve, better yet… I know, we’re awful! :( Anyways, we arrived around 8:20 pm. and it was still packed. We waited for about 20 minutes to be seated. They reminded me a few times that they were closing at 9, which really, we didn’t mind. We only went there to put our bellies to work! ;) By the time we were seated, it was around 8:45. Which was okay, it was our bad for coming in late/without a reservation/on a holiday anyway… So as soon as we were seated, I wrote any roll down that sounded good and placed the orders as soon as we saw our waitress. I wish I could have remembered her name, but she was so sweet and insisted that we didn’t need to rush even though we came in later… and boy, the rolls were YUMMY! They cut off orders at 9, which obviously we knew that. but the rolls were so good– I didn’t want to stop! XD I really liked that the rolls consisted of 3 – 4 pieces rather than 8 – 9. You can decide what you like and order more of that rather than getting full on a roll you dislike. I also liked that they had a «salad bar» looking kiosk where you could grab small appetizers and your wasabi/ginger. Our waitress did her best to accommodate us even for our mistake in coming in ideally later than we would have liked. She also was serving many other tables. Overall it was a good experience, and inexpensive for the dinner«all you can eat» of $ 20! We will be back.

I am so glad a friend recommended this place. For less than $ 20 dollars for dinner, you can eat like a king. I ordered everything on the menu and I was surprised that everything came out fresh and delicious. Word of advice, don’t get stuff eating from the appetizer bar. Be patient and enjoy. A whole lot better than any buffet.

Their sushi is amazing!!! The rolls are big, the price is out of this world and their desserts are great! Servers were very sweet and quick. This is now our new favorite sushi restaurant. Better than mukini’s in my opinion!!!

POOR Service. Variety of fish. Told the lady I needed only cooked fish so she helped me select the best cooked rolls. She brought me so many uncooked rolls. I’m like lady! I’m pregnant please stop bringing me uncooked rolls. Fish was fresh. Nothing spectacular about their rolls. No fancy flavor combinations. Ambience was casual. Good place to pig out if your not a foodie and like to be surprised by the menu offerings.

Most of the dishes were ok except the spicy tuna and spicy scallops were good but for $ 19.99 buffet price without having mine Salmon Sashimi is just Not worth it for me! Went there last night from a recommendation from a friend to try out this place but only to disappointed that you can only order Salmon Sashimi by plate for a price so I ordered a six pieces. It came out to be very thin slices!!! Note: if you love sashimi this is NOT the restaurant for you!!!

AYCE sushi! Flat rate $ 20 — lunch/dinner! Service 4⁄5 –was seated right away around 6:30(before the rush) –ordered food whenever I wanted to, and workers had no problem Food 3.5÷5 –food was good for a AYCE, but not the best –order the unagi and caterpillar! I didn’t like the tuna rolls… Wasn’t as fresh as id liked –ordered the mackerel and got it seared! That was bomb… Tasted all the flavor of the fish yummy with good texture –dessert donuts were good and fresh! Got the tempura ice cream but was not blown away. Tempura got soggy:( Oh, and was not a fan of the salad bar, but concept was cool. Edamame was cold and chewy. And everything else looked meh Overall, good place for hungry people — I prefer azucar for quality heh

I don’t normally come to this Raku location. I usually go to their original one near West Sac. So far I’ve only been here about 4 times. Each time has been an improvement on the previous experience. I like that this place is more spacious. You get the same service and made to order sushi. This place can get quite busy around dinner time. I noticed that if they have a full house there aren’t enough waiters to go around, and it may take time to get your order in. I like to get the Harbor roll and their nigiri.

I visited this location again on Sunday. The service was slow considering it was not packed. We walked in, no one greeted us until we wrote our name on the waiting list and were getting ready to sit down to wait. We waited 15 minutes for a miso soup. The check came out before our donuts which were salty. Perhaps it was an off day but I was really excited to show this place off and it did not work out that way. The rolls were good. It was just disappointing when you constantly hear the tables around you being asked how the food is or what else can they get. Will give this location another try at some point. Update 11÷19÷15 I took my cousin her for dinner. The staff was friendly this time around and waited us quickly. I think the experience varies between who’s on shift. The improvement was better. The donuts were delicious this time around too. Last time they were salty. I might give lunch hour another try.
