In a world with so many different event companies, it’s so hard to know who to go with. From my engagement party to my bridal shower, I am SO, so, so happy that I chose Sensibly Stunning Events for all my pre-​wedding festivities. Nichole and her mom Julie make an unbelievable team. They totally «got» my vision right away– lots of pastels, vintage, romantic, elegant but still simple and classic.
My engagement party was absolutely perfect, down to the last detail. From the theme, to the food, drinks, games (pin the ring on the bride– such a cute idea!) and décor– my fiancé and I couldn’t have been happier with the end result. We will forever remember that evening spent celebrating (stress-​free!) with friends and family and in so many ways we have Nichole and Julie to thank for that!
The bridal shower was absolutely stunning as well. I chose to have it at my parent’s home, and Nichole and Julie brought everything that was needed– my mom and I didn’t need to worry about a thing, which was awesome! I was stretched for time so Nichole and Julie even took care of the invitations, which was huge for me. My mom and I are both detail-​oriented, and it was important to know that the party was in good hands. Not only did Nichole and Julie do an amazing– and delicious– sangria bar and great finger foods, they also hit it out of the park with the games and decorations. They even worked with my bridesmaids to help the girls feel included– such a special touch.
It really is amazing what Sensibly Stunning Events was able to do, especially on my budget– we didn’t have a lot to spend, but still wanted a great engagement party and great bridal shower, of course! My favorite part of the whole experience was how fun they are to work with. Wedding planning is definitely stressful, but it was such a relief when getting to work with Nichole and Julie– our phone calls and emails were full of laughs and fun, and at no point was I ever stressed– which is saying something!
Whether you’re looking for some help with pre-​wedding festivities or the big day itself, I would definitely recommend Sensibly Stunning Events. Nichole and Julie are truly a dynamic duo and make each and every detail unforgettable! I wish I could give them more than five stars, they deserve a million! So thankful that I found them!

Hello Brides!
I’m planning my wedding to be held in October in California, while currently living in Michigan. I had heard of Sensibly Stunning Events through a friend who used the mother daughter duo for her own wedding. So far these two ladies have exceeded my expectations as planners. I was skeptical to even hire a planner since I’m originally from California and know my way around. But living from afar was making it challenging. They have not only helped me begin my day of coordination (which was the reason of hire), but have now begin to help me with budgeting, décor and finalizing vendor bookings at a cost I could still afford. I thought I knew the ins and out of finding a great deal but they seriously proved me wrong. Hiring them is actually saving me money in areas I would have spent to much. I would use and recommend these ladies even if lived close to home. If I’m this happy in the beginning stages I cant wait to see the final results. I am very thankful for them.

I knew my wedding was in good hands when Nichole and Julie planned and decorated my bridal shower last October. The theme was ‘Fall in Love’ and they decorated with warm autumn colors. The dessert table was adorable with good treats, and my favorite, handmade acorn cookies. They just looked way too cute to eat. but I did it anyway and it was delicious!
My wedding was held on NYE and I hired Nichole as my day-​of-​coordinator. She quickly familiarized herself with my timelines and boxes of décor that I supplied. She made sure everything was packed in the car for me and had some great Tetris skills to make it in one trip.
During rehearsal, she kept our group in line and we ran through the rehearsal rather quickly. Day of the wedding, I received no phone calls from her or from other vendors. Nichole and Julie took care of everything and I was able to sit back and relax while getting my hair and make up done. And when I got to the venue, everything was set so beautifully! They do have a keen eye on décor and DIY crafts. They made my NYE party hats for everyone and masquerade masks for our photobooth. They were so cute and big hit with our guests!
Julie and Nichole are sweethearts and genuinely want to make your big day memorable and these two can definitely deliver!
