In addition to the friendly, personable service, they use fewer nasty chemicals than their competitors (hence the Greener in the name) but they’re still competitively priced so plenty of people use them simply because they’re a great neighborhood cleaners. We also know customers who come from far away to prioritize their less toxic approach to cleaning. Bonus points for recycling hangars. Another great service is that they’ll store woolen goods for the season and they just charge you to clean them, not to store them. If your house gets moths that eat woolens, it’s very worthwhile to bring your wool stuff in for cleaning in the spring and pick it back up in the fall (also great if you have limited storage space at home).

I use Greener Dry Cleaners on a fairly consistent basis and I have not had any issues with them thus far (knock on wood). Their service is consistent — always friendly and professional and they make you feel like they appreciate your business and that you are doing them the favor by using their service; not the other way around. The prices are competitive and I like how they are open at 7 am Monday-​Saturday which allows for pickups and drop offs before I go to work. I also like how they recycle hangers which tend to accumulate in my home.
My one piece of advise would be for Greeners to have a webpage that outlines all of their services and their business details (phone number, address, hours, etc…)

Greener Dry Cleaners are the best. The service is extremely friendly, the results are great and the price is ridiculously low, not just for Boston standards. Everything is returned to the customer with such care. Clothes are well protected with extra silk paper and they also use very well cushioned hangers for jackets and suits etc.

John always recognizes me – I never even use a slip. No complaints about the work itself. Once or twice there was a stain they couldn’t get out, but not for lack of trying. A good place. As the previous reviewer said, fairly priced, excellent service and they recycle all those pesky hangers.

OK, it’s just a dry cleaners, yes. But the people are great, the service is terrific, the price is very fair and it’s as reliable as you could ever hope for.
