Been coming to J&P for a few months now since moving to the area. Very happy with the service so far. Initially came here because J&P is one of the few Dry Cleaners in the area open early enough to stop at before work. My inner-hippie appreciates their use of wet-cleaning instead of dry-cleaning which(as I’ve since learned) is better for the clothes and the environment. Impressed with the technology for a local«mom and pop» business. Will continue to take my business here.

Never going back! Beware! I wish I could give you negative stars. I’ve been coming here for a year with various items, pants, suits, dresses, etc and have had some holes mended. The holes came undone within a few wears, not very durable mending. They seemed to do an ok job, but nothing really dirty to test them, so I kept coming back. I dropped off a dress and talked extensively with the man at the counter about the dress and the shoulder embellishment that was in pros ten shape and how they would cover it and not to worry. THEYABSOLUTELYDESTROYEDTHEDRESS. NOTWEARABLE. They broke the shoulder embellishment and it then got caught and pulled the fabric across the entire top of the dress. When they handed it to me in the bag, the shoulder embellishment was hanging, tangled up in the dress. They proceeded to tell me that they didn’t do it, that the pulls were because of the fabric, not the dry cleaning process, and not their fault. They clearly did not secure/cover the small 3″ shoulder piece and allowed it to catch all over the dress. The counter attendant called over a woman who said I was«lucky» the shoulder embellishment didn’t melt and wasn’t worse. Lady, you broke it. She then proceeded to tell me that because there was a pull on the bottom(probably from sitting) that this was proof that the top, which has about 50+ pulls fairly small area, is not from them. Thanks for making me pay $ 18 for an expensive dress you RUINED and showed no remorse or even slight sympathy for destroying. Have a heart. I will tell everyone to avoid you.

I came in Monday to get some jeans hemmed. Asked to be ready Friday at 8am. Came in Friday at 8am and they had a sign on the door saying they will open today at 9am. Stayed around till 930 and they still didn’t open. Why would you tell me I could come at 8 if you open at 9? And still they didn’t open at that time. Following Tuesday I came in and picked up the pants and told them my aggravation. The answer I received was«ah huh». Been coming hear for a long time but no more. A simple apology would of been acceptable.

Brought in a pair of pants with an incredibly small hole in them. Asked if they could mend it. They said yes. I came in the day they were supposed to be there, and they weren’t done yet. Came in again, and what I got was a pair of pants with a hole at least 5 times longer than the one I’d brought in, stitched terribly so there was still a clear opening, and stitched with a color of thread completely unlike the color of the pants. Didn’t even get a refund.

Convenient local dry cleaner. Has never lost my clothes(I’m looking at you, Spots) or ruined anything(like Bush cleaners). Super affordable and my garments are always perfectly pressed and stain free. Drawback: Not Perc-free
