I have struggled finding a decent pizzeria since moving to Washington state. I have eaten pizza all over the world and had many a good pie and many that were terrible. Village Pizza ranks with the best. The crust is perfect — thin on the bed and thick on the edges. I really dislike a pizza that is more bread than toppings. The ratio of sauce and cheese is excellent. The portions are enormous! I cannot emphasize this enough. Bring your appetite. You will be taking most of your order home. Informal atmosphere that is unpretentious. Dress casually, bring the entire family. Service is just as casual, order and pay at the counter and food is brought to you. Service staff is polite and happy and in constant motion, but they don’t hover. So if you need a restaurant that will pamper and hover and use the crumb brush every 15 seconds, this place is not for you. Flatware and dishes are just as informal as the atmosphere. As busy as Village Pizza gets, I appreciate the no fuss and easy clean up. No frills is a great way to eat pizza! Eat with your hands, let it get a little sloppy. This is not eating caviar with mother of pearl spoons. This is hearty food to be enjoyed in the bustle of a busy pizzeria. If you are feeling lonely, visit Village Pizza, because it is always full of people.

We ordered pizza, hoping that it would be as good as the reviews claimed, only to wait for 2 hours before they told us that it was too backed up to serve pizza to everyone and they refunded our money… We ordered at about 5:30 on a Friday night and the place was very full.

My in-laws have a cabin in near-by Ronald and whenever we go up, we always go to Village Pizza. The servers and staff are friendly and we love passing the time playing old trivial pursuit. The local beer on tap is a treat, but the pizza is the main focus. It’s amazing. We always have to get at least half«Ducktown» which is the double cheese, double pepperoni. Its so simple, but so good, and there’s always a fight back at the cabin for leftovers. Simple, no frills, delicious.

The staff is always friendly, and we love the pizza, just be prepared to wait if you show up on a weekend! They get slammed and it takes a while to push through the orders, so we have taken to calling them in ahead of time to save the wait. The best pizza for miles around…

The pizza was excellent! This was our first time eating here in the several years of visiting the area. The service was okay.

The half with vegetables and the other half all meat was delicious! Was busy so I’d recommend calling ahead for a take out.

For middle of no where place this pizza is good… we were staying at a cabin in Suncadia and needed to grab some dinner for adults and kids so I checked Unilocal and pizza sounded like a good idea. The cheese and toppings would just fall off the pizza so it was a little hard to feed the kids… but taste wise it was good!

Great pizza, loved the flavor of the cheese, and crust, however the service was extremely slow. It took an hour to get our pizza. They ran out of large pizzas and mushroom. Nowhere to sit. They had reserved tables for the locals, not cool. Go in before or after the dinner rush.

Super good crust and sauce. Our favorite is the Holms. Such a great combo of white sauce and jalapeño. Definitely worth getting Village Pizza if you are staying at the nearby Suncadia Resort.

This is a basic, colorful place. Picture Styrofoam cups and plastic deck chairs, which is fine if you’re expecting it. Friendly service. Books for kids. Reasonable prices. As for the pizza — it has a very good crust. I would say though for me, it runs a little too salty(though to be fair my toppings were olives and meat), and there is not quite enough sauce. Maybe if there was more sauce it would offset the salt?

I went here as a kid growing up and loved it. My husband, daughter and I went to Suncadia for a long weekend and I had to take them here. We ordered takeout and it took maybe 20 minutes so we walked around the town. The staff was super nice and the pizza was delicious! I’m glad my husband got to experience it.

I love this place. I Have been eating here at least 2 times a summer since the 90’s. Every time my family camps near Cle Elum/Roslyn I make it a point to come eat this pizza. When I was a Courier in the 90’s I delivered some supplies to this place from Seattle. I decided to have some pizza while there, it was great. Love the Crust with Honey they give you on every table.

This is our favorite local pizza place. Great variety, good prices and a friendly staff. We usually feed our family of 6 on about $ 60 including the beer. Here’s the thing about Roslyn restaurants: If you’re staying at Sundcadia and feel the need for some good food away from the resort, try to fit in when you visit the local establishments. Act naturally and relax; you’re in Central Washington now. There’s no need to be a pushy Seattlite/Eastsider in Roslyn — it’s very chill. I write this because in some restaurants I’ve seen a difference in the way locals are treated vs. obvious out-of-towners and I read some reviews below that reflect this. The Village Pizza staff are always busting their butts and dealing with the fortunate reality that they are twice as popular as their space allows. Their popularity is warranted; the pies are great and the honey on each table is a fun touch for the kids. Village Pizza is no frills on every level — don’t expect plates on the table or high-touch service. Do expect piping hot pizza made with love.

Walked in as a family of 5 on Valentine’s Day evening hoping that a pizza joint would have some availability. Wrong! This place was packed. We were going to order to-go but the wait staff was AWESOME. They somehow got us a table and within 30 minutes we were chowing down on some great pizza. Toppings were generous and the kids got a kick out of eating straight off the table(with paper placemats that is). Very casual and it feels a bit chaotic… but it all just works.

A small group of us came in here after snowshoeing, and we all loved the pizza. Wonderful people running the place, and great atmosphere. If you’re looking for pizza go here.

Perfect place when you feel like you could eat a dinosaur after a long hike or a long weekend of camping and you’re all out of goodies. Finishing the crust with a little honey sets this place apart too. I’m a stickler for clean bathrooms and this place could use a deeper cleaning.

We actually loved this place in the little town of Cicely, Alaska(DBA Roslyn, WA). The atmosphere is small town pizza place with great and friendly service. We felt the pizza was good and well worth the short wait. It was crowded but on a Saturday night that is to be expected and the locals were also friendly and joined in our conversation. A strange comment — but I thought their Pepsi was reminiscent of the 50’s taste. Not the current watered down drinks. A stop well worth leaving I-90 to see the town and have a pizza.

This place definitely lives up to its reviews. We drove into Roslyn because we wanted to try a new restaurant that was not at the resort. I had read reviews that the wait was generally 30 minutes for a table but when we came in at 7 pm on a Friday evening, we only had to wait for about 5. You have to walk up to the counter to order your pizza — we got a medium pizza, half cheese, half artichoke and black olive. It took a while for the pizza to get cooked since all of the tables were full, but luckily we were in no rush. I was surprised at how attentive the staff was considering it was a walk up counter and there were no designated«servers» per table. They came over to check on us a few times, brought us water, asked how our food was, brought us new utensils, cleaned our table, etc. It’s not a huge place but I always think of these places as being self-serve so it was a nice little surprise. Pizza was reasonably priced and awesome! It didn’t have a super thick crust but it was thick enough that you could dip it in the honey that they have on each table. Slightly chewy but crispy. The honey thing sounds strange which I definitely thought but actually really enjoyed it! About $ 28 for a medium pizza and 2 beers. Definitely worth leaving the resort for here!
