We’ve been here a couple times and both times we felt very unwelcome and the food isn’t great either. Rather go to Keegan’s.

I don’t live close by at all but I will drive here just to have the CHICKENCURRY with rice. It is outstanding. Great place to relax with a group of friends.

It’s been a over three years since my last review, and so I thought an update was in order for one reason: Chicken Curry. I’ve had the Chicken Curry(or some variation of it) at other Irish Pubs in the area(such as Ri Ra in Midtown, Olde Blind Dog in Milton, and Mac MacGhee’s in Roswell), and, hands down, Harp serves THEBEST I’ve had in the area, if not anywhere. They’ve changed how it is served — it used to be served with the curry poured over the rice, but is now served with the rice and curry in their own bowls and you combine them yourself — but the taste, quality, and quantity are the same. If for no other reason, if you like pub-style curry, try it at Harp. There’s nothing fancy there — just chicken and — I think — onion. But that’s exactly how I like it. I’ve also had the Bangers and Mash, which was somewhat disappointing. The sausages reminded me of Jimmy Dean breakfast sausages. I don’t know what I was expecting — maybe something more substantial, perhaps? But the taste was pretty decent, so I was not all that disappointed. Great beer selection, but no Kilkenny(Kilkenny is available at both Mac MacGhee’s and Olde Blind Dog). But for the love of all that’s holy, come here and order the chicken curry.

I was a little apprehensive coming here after reading the reviews. I went here with a group of 15+ for dinner and drinks. The bartender was awesome. He remembered every persons drink and delivered every meal. The food is not bad but it wasnt very good either. It was all frozen and processed. I would go back but only for drinks.

I got introduced to Harp’s earlier this year. My boyfriend and I usually go in late on the weekends. It’s never super busy so we always sit at the bar. The bartender is very friendly and always has suggestions of Beer. Sometimes they have live music as well. We normally get food to go and I’ve had the Chicken Pot Pie and Cottage Pie before and they are great. Very authentic and servings are nice and full.

Started going here when I moved to Roswell in 2003 been going ever since. Not a loud bar very quiet and laid back. Staff is excellent and very friendly. Food is great I love the Guinness chili and the bangers and mash. Wish they still had the rack of lamb but the cost was getting to high I think. Great events to help out charities and local community.

We love all the food here — the owner is always there and if not his son in law is there — they take pride in their food. The guys know you when you get there and many times have your drinks ready for you by the time you sit down. Triva on Wednesday’s is fun. They have one pool table and darts. But again we go for the great food. Try the fries with cheese and bacon. YUM!

Came in for lunch with my work mates. After reading an appetizing menu I asked the barkeep what’s good and popular. I had the fish and chips at his recommendation. The fries were okay but the fish was barely edible. It tasted like breaded styrofoam. Can’t say I was surprised, I’m spoiled with good chefs in and around Atlanta. Maybe it was an off day for the harp. Also want to not that pal next to me ordered two cokes that were flat. I walked out paying $ 28 tip included for a pint of beer, fish and chips and a side salad. For that kind of money I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Waiter didn’t care at all. Terrible service. Food wasn’t bad, but the service was so bad I won’t be back.

Where do I begin with this place, much less wonder why they’re still open. I was with my girlfriend and a group of friends that wanted to go to a «authentic» Irish pub. This place is far from it. We walked in and it literally looked like something that should be on Bar Rescue. You know the feeling when you walk into the place and it just feels dirty? We stood at the front door waiting to be seated, but no hostess. Finally after five minutes of waiting, the bar tender yelled from behind the bar to seat yourself. We ordered a few beers, since we were celebrating St. Patty’s day last night as well as a few appetizers. The nachos were horrible. The chicken was dried out and over cooked. The chips look store bought and they put the nachos in a microwave to melt the cheese. When I saw this I knew dinner was going to be bad. I ordered there version of shepards pie. The mash potatoes were instant a long with the carrots not being fresh. It came with fries that weren’t really even warm. Neither was the pie. My girlfriend ordered the club sandwich and what a wreck. I could have done better at home. Needless to say nobody liked the food and would never step foot back in this place.

I am surprised this place stays open. It used to be super fun when they had St. Pattys celebrations but now it is BORING!!! We went on the day the weather was iffy(2÷25÷2015) Music was so low you couldn’t hear it. Also, it was so cold in there my butt cheeks were cold and that is unusual as I am always hot natured. Food is barely edible, fries were teeny weeny and chik fingers were tasteless. The womens bathroom is the best part of this establishment. I will never go back.

Not sure if it was the band… or the night… but for a Saturday it was a significantly older crowd than you may be expecting.

My party of 4 barely received any service on 1/23, happy hour. There wasn’t even a crowd so I can’t understand why our server didn’t come back to check on us. By the end of the visit we were going to the bar and ordering our own drinks. Very disappointing, we won’t be going back. Also, it didn’t seem like the heat was on at all, everyone was wearing their jackets. No music in the background, just people ambience.

This place made me wish I had stayed home, cracked open a PBR, and nuked a HotPocket. We went on a Wednesday night for trivia. It’s obvious the bar is close to shutting it’s doors. The beer selection wasn’t fantastic, but that’s not a big deal. The food however was ABYSMAL!!! I ordered the Bangers and Mash for $ 8.95. It was literally instant mashed potatoes, brown packet gravy, and 4 Jimmy Dean sausage links. I wish that were an exaggeration. My husband ordered the Chicken nachos. The cheese was just a blend of shredded Colby jack burnt onto a handful of store bought tortilla chips. The veggies were alright. The chicken was recooked, dry as a bone, thinner than veal cutlet, and crispy like a cracker. Our friend ordered the Chicken Wings. They were clearly fried once earlier that day or the day before then re-fried upon order, and finally smothered in what we were pretty sure was just RedHot wing sauce. OVERALL The bar has good potential! It would be a great local spot if management changed or got it together. As it stands, we will never go back and wish them the best of luck.(It would be a great nomination for Gordan Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares)

Stopped in here to dodge the HORRENDOUS traffic that defines Atlanta these days. Definitely a locals bar full of regulars, which is cool. Harp was cold, staff friendly, and beef stew with mash potatoes hit the spot on a rainy day. All and all, chill vibe.

First off… The food blows and is not Irish fare by any stretch of the imagination. I have given it more than three chances. They don’t give a damn about the food. Bangers are just little breakfast sausage. The meat pie tastes like a Swansons frozen pie, but with no flavor. I had a sausage sandwich and if it weren’t for the egg I added for a dollar extra it would just be plain boring dreck. French’s mustard, not Coleman’s it’s an abomination. The curry chicken was tolerable. quesadillas!!? WTF? Soggy underdone Chips. Good atmosphere though and the bartender is pretty cool. It doesn’t take much to create a decent authentic menu. Or a good menu without cute names. Good place for a pint, but if you want good Irish fare and or good food. Eat before you come by. It’s abysmal . Nothing special about this place… Nothing Irish about it either. Put up a flag and pour Guinness does not a decent pub make. I gave an extra star because Ben pours a good pint and it’s not his fault.

I’m always a huge fan of Irish pubs who offer up a wide array of Irish fare like quesadillas, nachos, and burgers. This place was maybe the biggest disappointment I’ve seen in a long time. Bangers and mash. Bangers and mash should be something an Irish bar would pride themselves on. What I received was lumpy, flavorless mashed potatoes and a handful of Jimmy Dean breakfast sausages. That’s it. I could have whipped that up with my eyes closed. As much as I could, I don’t need to beat them up any more, but I certainly will never go back.

This place is great. My girlfriends and I come here for trivia on Wednesday nights. I have had their caesar salad, burger, quesadilla, nachos, fish and chips, moz sticks, and of course their beer. All decent bar food. I would stay away from the moz sticks — just frozen nothing special. Burger was pretty good, but the fries take the show — crispy and well seasoned. Willy pours the best beers and is one of the best and most prompt servers I’ve ever had.

You will enjoy both the drinks and food here. I’ve tried many of the appetizers as well as the Irish Stew. Delish! I love that they are smoke free now. It’s a good olé’ dive bar that the non-smokers can enjoy! We don’t have too many«dive bars» up here in the burbs and I’m happy to say this is a good one to visit. They even have live music on occasion, just check their calendar.

This is my second time coming in and my first time eating here. There are SOO many things I like about this place… where to begin The bartender, Willie. Authentic Irish guy who ran the bar completely by himself and did a damn good job. I never went more than 10 seconds without my drink being refilled. The food – The Irish breakfast was to die for. I haven’t had a good Irish breakfast since I moved to GA and I am ecstatic that I found this place, my waistline probably isn’t. Trivia – Good questions, and a funny trivia guy. Also, didnt look like many people trying to cheat which is always a plus. Ambiance – Very authentic Irish pub. Overall, I will be back here time and time again!
