The manager is very prejudice towards Black people. I paid for a quart of egg drop soup, and they brought me a pint. When I called and told them about it, he told me that what we bought was for 2 people. My intelligence and business was disrespected. It’s obvious that this restaurant doesn’t welcome Black business and it merits a negative«star» rating.

This place is empty! All the workers are crowded around at a table laughing loud, eating and clanking forks to the plates. First impression is not welcoming, I asked if they had egg foo young and the lady said very quickly! Very greasy! Well I’ve been craving it and that isn’t something that you want to hear if you want it. So I said okayyyyy basically that’s not something you really say if you want to turn off a customer and she quickly changed her tune and said we can lightly fry it. As she walked away the other lady shook her head and said sorry about that. She knew she was wrong. Food is ready another apology she said enjoy and I said I hope it’s not swimming in grease when I get home. Still on the fence not sure if I’m coming back. Just got in the car and opened the bag and I see this teriyaki sauce they try to pass off as «gravy» won’t be back!

This used to be my favorite Asian go-to, until my experience this past Friday. I purchased full meals during lunch to take home for dinner later that night, so I didn’t look through the bags, just stored them in the refer. I ordered Shrimp crackers, which was missing from the bags. Called and talked to the manager at 10pm and was told«oh sorry» we ran out, but next time you are in we will give you some.” $ 5. Okay listen, then why did they not tell me when they brought my bags out? On top of that the food quality has seriously changed, it’s more Americanized now. Will not go back ever again.

Food was mediocre. We ordered delivery and it was pretty quick but the food was cold– seemed like it had been made ahead of time. Lo mein was pretty good, sweet and sour chicken was decent but was really huge pieces of chicken… seemed more like chicken nuggets, pot stickers were not good, won ton soup was not good. Egg rolls were soggy. Overall the food did not seem freshly made.

One of the better Chinese places around, delivery is usually way faster then what they quote it as, so that is nice also.

been ordering through eat24 delivery from rasa sayang for about three months. delivery always quick food ALWAYS delicious: tonight had shrimp with lobster sauce(nice flavor 12 fresh shrimp); sesame chicken(for son); mussels with black bean sauce(a little tough, but large and sweeter black bean sauce); In past also had chicken lettuce wrap twice(large tasty portions); mhu shu beef; various soups never had anything off taste or cold. thats important on delivery may even try in person soon, but this is too easy

My Absolute Favorite delivery Restaurant ever ! The food is amazing and the portions are big. The best part is how Inexpensive yet Great Quality the food is. They Deliver around the are but I’ve ordered from several places and they always come through. My favorite item is Mongolian Triple, and lunch comes with a soup and spring roll. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Asian or Delivery Restaurants.

Very tasty and reliable take out. I ordered off of their Malaysian menu and it did not disappoint. Delivery was fairly quick and the order was correct. Will be a regular customer for take out/delivery. Looking forward to trying out their other varieties(Chinese/Thai) and will report on those as well. So far, an excellent first experience.

We went back here Friday night for dinner and some of those yummy basil rolls. We also ordered crab rangoons, they are really good here cause they are not so crusty but they are kind of expensive compared to other Chinese places. Seems like the lady taking to go orders and seating people needs a lil help as she seemed overwhelmed and not as friendly. Good food, will return again when we get the craving.

Their Malaysian food is on point. We spent around $ 50 for two. We had the roti canai, chicken satay, beef rendang, and mee goreng. We got two complimentary veggie spring rolls and I had the Thai tea. The roti canai could have been frozen, but the curry tasted like home. The chicken satay was great too. The texture and flavor was great. It only came with onions for the peanut sauce, which was full of oil and large chunks of peanuts. The mee goreng came with chicken and shrimp, and it was pretty greasy too. They have brown rice which is a plus, and the hot sauce is really shocking, so be careful!

By far the best Hot and Sour soup I have ever had. Looking forward to trying the Thai in this the nicest dining room I have eaten in in quite some time.

We were looking for a good Chinese restaurant near the Mario Andretti indoor go-kart racing and used Unilocal to find one. Rasa Sayang had good ratings and was close so we tried it out. It was a Thursday night and the place was empty but the food and service was excellent! We ordered a glass of house wine($ 4!!) and some sake and the waiter returned with both in less than 30 seconds(no lie!). He recommended some apps and mains and we ordered all of them. There were 3 of us. We got spring rolls, egg rolls, chicken lettuce wraps, sizzling rice soup for two, and wonton for one. Instead of giving us the apps for 2 he upped the portions for 3 ppl which was very nice. Our main course was sesame chicken and the recommended chicken curry. Everything was very good and came out with lightening speed! In an out in 30 min but no rush! We will definitely return when in Alpharetta!

I have been looking for an awesome Chinese place since I moved to Georgia. This place has satisfied all of my crab rangoons cravings.

Rasa Sayang is the best Asian food restaurant in Georgia, no doubts about it. Clean, super friendly, and 200% customer oriented. Once you go there a few times they will know who you are, your name and your preferences. Thanks Daniel and family!

Terrible customer service. A girlfriend and I went in to place a to go order and decided to have the dumpling appetizer while our order was being cooked. My friend put in her order and I told her I’d like to do mine separate. She completely ignored me and I politely asked to place mine, she gave me a look didn’t sat anything and just waited by the computer. I placed it, and tipped her very well, she didn’t say thank you or anything to me. we wait for 10 min and I asked if she got the dumplings fir here she got rude with my friend and u and raised her voice saying they need time to cook and walked to the back… I have my order in my hands now. We will see how it taste, but just the negativity and unprofessionalism is beyond me.

I see everyone else’s reviews and wonder what did I miss? I got the Malaysian Curry and was told it was similar to Thai. Well, I thought it was closer to Indian curry which I’m not a fan of. It tasted watered down and did not have much flavor! The customer service was good and my water glass was always full! I don’t know if I would try it again!

My husband and I needed delivery and we needed it fast. We are new in Alpharetta and started the search. I do love Penang off Buford Hwy but I haven’t been there in years. Thought we would give this place a try. After looking through the reviews I was happy to find the Roti Canai had positive reviews but the entrees seemed to have mixed reviews so we tried the Pad See U and the Malaysian Chili. The Pad See U was not worth ordering, it wasn’t bad it just wasn’t a good Pad See U. We had never had Malaysian Chili so we had no idea what to expect which sometimes is a good thing. The dish was ok, nothing amazing but we may order it again sometime. To me it tastes kind of like a spicier version of the sweet chili sauce and slightly a calmer taste. We will definitely order from here again because the roti canai was so good and I love that dish. Like another review I read, they came a little earlier than expected which was great since I was really hungry.

Another stop on my farewell tour of lunches, I felt that my previous review from 6 years ago deserved refreshing. But in reviewing what I’d previously said, most of it still applies. The food is consistently good. The service is prompt for lunch(though it does get pretty busy right around 12). I still love their hot and sour soup. I’ve tried many of the dishes on the menu, particularly Thai favorites. I highly recommend most, especially the curries, except the Pad Thai — it’s just not as good as the other dishes. I had similar remarks concerning the coconut soup(it’s good, but I think the hot and sour soup is better), but was told by those who ordered the coconut soup at lunch that it was excellent and I shouldn’t say otherwise.

«I’ll sit in my disgusting little apartment, watching basketball games, eating Chinese takeout, walking around with no underwear because I’m too lazy to do the laundry.» — Seinfeld(1989TV Series) What a delightful find today for lunch thanks to Angela M. and her farewell to Roswell UYE series. I showed up at 11:45am and the place was empty — a ghost town. So it was very easy to grab a table for 6 people and be served by a polite gentleman right away. My friends trickled in over the next couple of minutes and then it took a few minutes to get the attention of a server to let them know we were ready to order — the place was pretty busy come 12pm. Good to know. For my food allergies, I knew to avoid the Thai portions of the menu and stuck to the Chinese side as those dishes are always safe for me to eat. Their lunch entrees all come with a spring roll, soup and fried rice(brown rice is an extra 75 cents, but with the entire bill coming in under $ 10, who can complain about that?). I decided to go for the egg drop soup — the rest of the table was split between the mushroom coconut and the hot and sour — and I was not disappointed. Not overly salty(as it can be) and nice and hot from the kitchen and delivered within moments of placing our orders, I was quite content. Packed with bits of egg and no tofu(YAY), the flavor was spot on and hit the spot on a cold and blustery day. It was accompanied by a bowl of crunchy chow mein noodles for texture and I devoured it in short order. Good thing, too, since my entrée was quick to follow. I opted for the Mongolian Chicken(I’m a big fan of onions of all kinds) with brown rice. The chicken was quite flavorful and sauteed without being over cooked. It was still juicy and packed a lot of flavor from the soy glaze. There was the usual hint of sweetness to counter balance the onions and the crunch from the rice noodles. There was a lot of rice on the plate, so I left some behind. Over all, I was a fan of my selection. The spring roll was only so-so, however. Super crispy on the outside, but pretty mushy and indistinctive on the inside. I would probably leave it on my plate untouched the next time. I would come here again. Better than average Chinese takeout, pretty good service(my water glass was constantly refilled and the staff was very polite) and paying at the end was very easy considering 6 of us paid separately. Glad to know it is here, and I look forward to returning to try more dishes… and for $ 9 — a steal!
