Pretty cool place for a random Thursday night dinner. Their tacos are great, especially the steak & fish one, & their tamarind margarita! They are not playing with that habanero sauce, it’s fire! I love the salsa too, similar restaurants tend to skimp on the chips & salsa but theirs is really good! We were able to redeem a free queso offer through Unilocal so make sure to check it out if you go! The only things I would definitely improve on are the sides: the black beans were very runny with more bean«juice» than beans & the jalapeño corn was WAY more butter & salt than corn & jalapeño. Overall, it’s a great option for dinner/drinks.

This place has legit tacos, the pastor tacos are very good and they have a great flavor and roasted pineapple. The salsa verde was the best also. I got the pork belly tacos as well which were good but the hot salsa had smokey flavor that I thought didn’t mix well. The salsa that came with chips was kind of mild as well. Overall for the area probably the best street tacos I’ve found. The jalapeño corn is much better side than rice. And charo beans had a great flavor. Lunch for 20 for 2 not too bad

Love it! Great food, yummy libations. We’ve been twice and loved both trips. Tried a torta, a chimichanga, and a salmon salad. All tremendous. And the skinny ‘ritas. Yes, please.

Best non-traditional Mexican restaurant around. Food is on point, staff is attentive and nice, and the GM is fantastic. I told her to surprise me with my entrée and she did not disappoint. She only asked me if I liked corn or flour tortillas and if I had any food allergies. When she returned, she had a plate with 3 tacos on it; lamb, steak, and pork belly. The pork belly taco is to die for! I will be back!

We’ve eaten here a few dozen times — taking clients to lunch especially. Tonight I took my adult kids to dinner at Hola. The food was good right up until my son pulled an eight inch hair out of his nachos… That’s not the worst part. The manager, upon seeing the hair, declared, «I don’t have anyone in my kitchen with that color of hair.» What??? WHAT!!! She compensated us our appetizer and an adult beverage, but not a single(from our waiter Mick — as in Jagger — or anyone else at Hola), «Oh jeez sorry!» Not going back until management grows in maturation. While not as trendy, El Torero has competent staff and management — and good food. El Porton has a super friendly & sincere staff — and good food… ALSO — It was cold(like as in, put-our-jackets-back-on) in the dining room.

Loved this place! I really like the décor of this restaurant and lighting(dim but not too dark) – the chips and guac was great! For those who like spicy food definitely try the habanaro salsa. I ordered the salmon a la talla – it was delicious and cooked perfectly! I came here once in the summer time for lunch and day drinking – sat on the patio and had a great time listening to some band. Although, the view wasn’t the best – you see cars pass on Holcomb Bridge-I still had a great time!

Holy quesomole! Best queso dip and chips in Roswell… and believe me, I’ve tried all queso dip. El Jinete is a close second. Took me a while to try Hola, not sure why… maybe the long time vacant Wolf Camera store had something to do with it(photo processing/camera store = restaurant?). Been there twice — one time for spirit night for my daughters elementary school and one time for take out. Both times were excellent HOLA experiences. I really like their Pollo Y Chile Relleno. My daughter loves the chicken tacos(Without onions), and my boys loves the chicken burritos. Excellent service. And I can’t finish my review without a full double thumbs up for their classic margarita on the rocks with salt. Very good and very strong. No on the border watered down drink here. And they are friendly at the bar and actually talk to you. Definitely a good apt and will return.

Food was fine. Not bad, not great. It was a little annoying that one of my tacos didn’t come with the salsa that it was supposed to. Then, when I asked for it, they tried to charge me 50 cents for like an ounce of salsa.

Food and drink are average not too impressive. It can explained why the restaurant was not busy when we came on Saturday evening. Wanted to order the porkchop but they were out. I would not come back

The restaurant had a very modern chic type design. Wasn’t like a typical tex mex looking restaurant, but the menu was similar. The food was delicious and the service was very fast. The restaurant was moderately busy and the didn’t stop or hinder our service.

Loved our visit here. The food was amazing and the bartender was nice as well. We got the shrimp tacos and they were delicious. Can’t wait to come back here!

HOLA! has a similar feel to most Mexican-American taco bars upon initial inspection, but like so many great things in life, it’s the subtle differences that elevate this particular restaurant. The atmosphere is simple; there’s a better ratio of booths to tables than many restaurants can boast. The bar has a wide array of tequilas and plenty of alternative spirits too. They’re well-staffed, though it always seems like they have a fair amount of turnover. I don’t believe I’ve ever had the same waiter/waitress twice. The staff is generally good — they aren’t spectacular, but service meets expectations for a restaurant of this caliber. The menu is interesting. There’s a solid array of tacos. There are a handful of items that set them apart, not to mention generally good specials. The queso is well above average and even better with jalapeños. But those Mexican bowls really hit the spot for me — it touches all the taste buds with sweet and rich and spicy and savory. It’s everything a taco salad wishes it could be — an adult taco salad? Maybe. It’s just good either way. HOLA! is a fun place with underrated food. This is a great place to be adventurous because you’ll find some new and tasty combinations, but you’re not likely to run into anything too bizarre for the inexperienced palate. Go there with an open mind and taste a different kind of Mexican.

This review is strictly for a bar visit we made here late after some Christmas shopping and Saturday of errands. Their kitchen was closed, sigh, but they did offer us free chips and salsa and a smile. Great chips. Great salsa. The pretty girl behind the bar was super pleasant and made us some strong ass drinks. Oh my. I would definitely like to return to try out their food. Maybe I felt the area was a little shady but that may have to do with the fact I’m paranoid and a coward most of the time.

I was pleasantly surprised! I’ve driven by here for years and never stopped in until we were going to the movies next door and wanted a quick bite. Hostess was super attentive and friendly. Wait staff very friendly and professional. The food is superb, the plates come out garnished beautifully, even the refried beans are seasoned perfect.

Decided to check out this place while on an adventure in Roswell. I was a little skeptical once I saw the menu; presented as a Mexican-southern fusion. As a Mexican food lover I strictly prefer authentic, but I was pleasantly surprised! Somehow the blend of Mexican with the southern twist worked. I would dine again and recommend to others!

After a delicious and epic brunch at our YEE a couple weeks ago, I knew I had to return to HOLA! and bring my wife with me. We were seated immediately and everyone from our host to our server was super friendly. Hot, fresh chips and salsa were placed on our table right away. Then, thanks to the Unilocal check-in offer, we were treated to a delicious, and most of all FREE cheese dip. YUMMMM! When it was time to order our entrees, everything on the menu looked so good that it was hard to decide what to order. But, I remembered CM, Kellie raving about the lamb tacos and I couldn’t get it out of my head so that was the deciding factor. I chose charro and rice as my sides. My wife ordered the steak salad. The food came out in no time and I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into those bad boys! Kellie was sooo right, the lamb tacos were the BOMB! The lamb was so tender and juicy and also very filling because they chock a LOT of lamb into those tacos. I actually ordered three tacos and I got way too full after two to finish my third. The charro was also really tasty. It’s laced with bacon and herbs and I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed beans more. Mmmm… My wife said her steak was really good and cooked to perfection but she wished the salad had some dressing on it. My only critique of the meal was that our margaritas didn’t taste like they had any alcohol in them at all(we both ordered classic margaritas on the rocks). I was a little surprised because I remembered how strong the drinks were at the YEE but these just tasted like lemonade. Otherwise though what a great meal! We’ll be back at HOLA! very soon.

What can I say — I really like Hola! taqueria and bar. I’m not sure exactly why, because it’s overpriced($ 10.50 for two tacos?) and seems a bit trendy(a combination I tend to veer away from). And I get the same thing every time(Carne Asada tacos and a beer). All I can surmise is that, overall, it’s just a comfortable place to eat. Parking is never an issue(you know what I mean when the first thing you think when a suggestion is made is, «but where will we park?»), always friendly service(although sometimes slow), and the food is delicious. Maybe that combination is enough to overcome the higher prices. Some highlights: — HUMONGOUS bar, with both an inside and outside seating arrangement. — Lots of TVs for those who want to watch The Game(whatever that is for them). — Live music — sometimes. — Patio seating in comfy chairs, when the weather is pleasant. — The salsa is really good — roasted pepper or something, and served warm. — Excellent Jalapeño corn and black beans — You HAVE to try the braised lamb — it’s UNIQUE! — GREAT guacamole(but it’s expensive!) They have a Sunday Brunch buffet, which is pretty decent, although I’m not really a brunch buffet lover.

OMGPEOPLE! All I can say is ***LAMBTACOS*** I visited Hola! due to a love for Mexican as well as seeking out other Mexican places in the OTP to take a closer look at. Well I am so glad that I did! I ordered the Lamb Taco as well as the Carne Asada($ 10.95) with black beans and jalapeño corn — All is can say is OMG! I have never tasted anything like this in my life! The lamb was so flavorful!!! They have an array of items on their menu that I cannot wait to try on future visits! They have a very large«L» shaped bar positioned on the side of this«Industrial Chic» style restaurant. Really can’t wait to go back and bring friends!

It’s a decent nice chilling Americanized Mexican bar. Came to this place with a bunch friends after we went to Andretti. We r so hungry so everything taste good! The servers r great! Knowing that we r really hungry so bring out tones of chips. The drink is pretty awesome, not necessary Mexican style but it’s good. They even come check us out after we paid so that’s awesome. The problem with here is the steak, it’s kinda tough. Which I would’ve complain if I wasn’t that hungry. Over 3.5 cuz the steak is very important for fajitas, but servers r great!!!
