I visited this Sprint store to hopefully receive some technical support in fixing my texting issues on my Note 4, which is less than a year old. This store I visited is a little larger than most Sprint stores. I’m giving 3 stars here because I had two extreme experiences. The first was on the high end b/c the the attentiveness of the staff was great. I had several people ask me what they could help me with and once I told them, they quickly got me to the right person. I believe his name was Malcolm, but not sure. Malcolm was a really nice guy and once I told him my issues, he proceed to do some updates and check settings; basic stuff. I’ll premise that this store isn’t a technical support store. So they didn’t have the same tools as stores that have a technical support area in house. When he wasn’t able to correct the issue I asked what other suggestions he could provide as I needed this issue to be fixed. This is where it went downhill. Now his delivery was nice and polite. Nothing wrong there. It was the information that he gave me which is knocking this rating down by two stars. I actually worked for Sprint’s business solution side for nearly 4 years so I was very familiar with their Network and internally how things are triage. The rep began to tell me he had just recently set up a ticket for another customer for the same texting issues. I insisted it wasn’t the network but my phone b/c my wife, also a Sprint customer didn’t have any texting issues. We had just returned from the DC area the week previous and hit towers across several states and I had the texting issue the whole time and she did not. Well I shared that with the rep and he said the trouble ticket he submitted a few days earlier for the other customer would resolve my issues by the next week. Wow I said, they are going to fix all the towers across all the states I had issues in by next week. He said that’s correct. All the towers in every place I had issues was going to be fixed and updated. All that from one ticket. Again, being a former Sprint employee, I knew that was so not true. The guy was polite and nice so I didn’t need to cause a scene or be rude. I knew it was total BS but why cause any commotion b/c there was really nothing he could have done anyways. If you’re just going there for basic billing or sales related things, the store is actually nice, open and well laid out. For technical issues, make sure you find a store that actually has a tech phone support department. Knowing a guy was telling me lies just to get me to move on hit a nerve so I’m docking two stars for that.

Incompetent employees and very inattentive. Called 3 times for a simple question related to whether or not thy had a phone on stock. Put on hold twice and forgotten about. Finally got a hold of them and they claimed they had phones in stock. Drive out to the store turns out their inventory numbers were incorrect. Do not recommend this store to anyone. Horrible experience… well done Sprint way to suck

This is a corporate owned store. They provide EXTRAordinary customer service. When you first walk in you’re greeted. If they’re busy they acknowledge you and keep you updated on the wait time. If you have an appointment with one specific sales person they check to see if someone else can help while making sure your original sales person gets the credit needed for any sale items. They know it’s important to keep existing customers too and try to do everything within their control to make customers happy. This is the only Sprint store I will shop. It is close to home, but even if they were downtown I’d drive to visit because I know things will be resolved and I will be happy!
