Yummy yummy roll is awesome! I also love their rice and noodles. Consistently great food everytime I’ve been there.

Came here on a Sunday for dinner and thought it was very overrated. Especially for the price which for one person was $ 24… The quality of the fish was just okay and the rolls were packed with rice and seemed to be covered in mayo. Not happy with the selections and the added rice in some was so bad it was like they were trying to save money on fish as they try to fill you up on the rice. lol The layout is pretty nice, but the other items on the buffett were lacking flavor. I would see no reason to repeat!

This place is so much better than Kiku, Matsuya or Ru San yet it costs about the same to have lunch there! This place has a wide selection of sushi and it’s just great. I didn’t go near the hibachi place as I wasn’t interested in that. I also didn’t the mussels or other seafood there coz I wasn’t interested. I went for the sushi and I got my sushi binge. I did try the hot dishes and the salads and they’re all great. They have rolls like dancing eels that will be special rolls in other sushi places. Unlike other sushi buffets, their rolls are not made mainly with fried food drenched in mayo or other sauces that make you sick from eating too much. What I like about this place is, the flavor of the sushis are not overwhelming. They’re also generous with the ingredients so you don’t feel like you’re just eating rice. Overall, I think they just have a wider selection of things than Kiki and Matsuya for everything and with better quality. I don’t remember too well about the food at Ru San except that I swore not to go back so. I think Ru San had a wide selection of food but sadly I couldnt’ get myself to eat the food they offer. As for the décor, I don’t say it’s outstanding but it’s not bad either. The staff are polite. One interesting this is that unlike Matsuya and Kiku, the wait staff there at Tokyo Bay are not East Asians.(I’m not being racist here, I“m just telling you what I observed). For the price, I think it’s hard to beat Tokyo Bay. The only unfortunate thing is that it’s located in Roswell but it’s okay, I am happy to drive 15 miles for a great sushi buffet.

I’ve been here for their lunch sushi buffet and it is worth it for the price! The servers are attentive and really nice, and the hibachi chef is also great. Unlike Lobster House, the hibachi comes with the buffet price. I find the fish here to be pretty fresh(at least the days I go), but sometimes if the place isn’t too busy, the hot food does get kind of cold. There is a variety of rolls, which are all pretty good and nigiri. It’s a pretty good deal!

The dinner sushi buffet is very clean cut and the appeal of the food is great. Great selections of sushi and sashimi. There’s fresh oysters taste great, I particularly like there octopus salad and seaweed salad. I’m sad that there’s no gem tea ice cream through there’s the typical ice cream flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and swirl. I usually rate the restaurant byhowthe cleanliness of the restroom; biggest thing I look for is the cleanliness of the bathroom. To my standards the bathroom was very spotless and didn’t wreak of urine or stool.

I had my doubts for a sushi buffet, and assumed the quality would be subpar. I was wrong, the sushi was great! They brought me cakes for my birthday but I had already grabbed a lot. Haha so if you go for your birthday don’t grab the cakes early as they will bring it out for you. I’m not sure if these signs above the sushi are always correct.

Good sushi grade for a buffet place, as you can expect they’ve got pretty much what you want in an Asian style buffet with crab legs, hibachi and sushi rolls. What I want to share with you is a funny story, my cousin’s wife was waiting in line for some sushi; and keep in mind that this is a BUFFET, meaning that all you can eat. A lady comes up to her and says«Excuse me, I’ve been waiting for that». In a calm voice, my cousin’s wife replies, «Well are you going to take the whole thing?!». This is what you can also expect in a buffet. Enjoy!

If you want all-you-can-eat-sushi in Atlanta, and don’t want to pay a fortune this is the place to go! Lunch is only $ 11.99! Can’t beat that price! We went on Saturday around 12:30, and the place was very busy but the service was great. The food was fresh and delicious. The only downside is the limited dessert selection. Only had three flavors of ice cream(super sweet soft serve, chocolate soft serve, and swirl) and a handful of those pre-made/cut cakes that you find in most Chinese buffets. Wish they had regular ice cream or more food instead!

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. The place is clean and well organized. The salad section was okay. I tried some seaweed salad, crab salad and calamari salad. Nothing was very unique but the taste was good. Sushi section was either very good or just eatable. Some of the rolls were extremely good. I guess next time I come here, I will know exactly what to pick and to enjoy. That being said, I didn’t have any piece that wasn’t fresh so it basically up to you to enjoy certain kinds more than the rest. Chicken usually at Asian restaurants is not cut right and you may find chewy pieces or bones. However, chicken dishes were prepared and cooked nicely. Hibachi was good too but I wish they had different sauces or spices to pick from. The amount of shrimp I got in my place was pretty good and the veggie mix was definitely fresh. I just think they need to have more options to flavor the food. Generally the restaurant is clean and we had the best service that we have ever gotten in a buffet. Everything was super fresh and cooked well.

$ 13 for an AYCE sushi lunch is pretty much a steal, even if the sushi grade is roughly what you’d find at your run of the mill grocery store. Add in assorted hot items, freshly made hibachi, and desserts, and this is quite the deal. The selection, even during lunch, had a lot of variety, and the turn over on the buffet items was quick, ensuring some freshness. They were busy with the post-church crowd on a Sunday, but the sushi makers and table bussers kept up with the flow. The interior looks roughly the same as it did when this space was a Folks(I think that’s what it was), but at prices this low, I’m okay that interior design isn’t their priority. Don’t know if I’ll be rushing back, but if I lived in the area, I’d probably be a regular.

This is place is great… If ur a all u can eat type? My family likes to come here on one Friday a month just for a family night out for the snow crabs. They warm it up for you when u ask them. Service is great also. Bonus is that it’s close to our house. I would recommend this place if you«HUNGRAY».

You really can’t beat their lunch buffet price. $ 11.99 for all-you-can-eat sushi, steak and regular menu items? Heck yeah! I personally have always had a good customer service experience. The waiter’s don’t hover and nag you like most places.

There are a lot of sushi options here, as well as a hibachi grill. On top of that, they have three pretty good soup options(Miso, Clam Chowder, Crab soup). They also have an above average pre-made food like salt & pepper shrimp, pepper steak, green beans, steamed broccoli. The one downside of this place is it can take awhile to pay and their dessert bar is a little bit sparse. But on the plus side, their service is really, really good for a buffet.

I really enjoyed coming here. They had a wide variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, salads, soups, and ice cream. You can also have your food cooked hibachi style. If you love seafood then this is your place. If you just love Japanese food then this is your place as well. They even have a nice selection of «common» foods for the kiddies. Also, I took my 3 yr old and she was free. Last but not least, the restaurant was clean and the customer service was satisfactory.

Went on my birthday and can’t wait to go back! You get a free birthday buffet and I thought this would be a great way to try it out. Tons of selection, everything was absolutely delicious. My favorites were the Ikura sushi… I could eat this all day. Crab legs were great, Chinese food in the back was awesome(especially the chicken that came out piping hot and fresh) They have a lot of sushi rolls that were really good. I watched them make tons of food and felt more than comfortable digging into anything and everything… granted I felt pretty uncomfortable afterwards when I had to unbutton my pants before I ripped them! Everyone working there had smiles on their faces and were VERY helpful. While I was getting dessert they had run out of oreo crumbs(not that I needed anything added to the heaping amount of ice cream I had) but one of the waitresses immediately got a new bag, and then the chef cut it open when she couldn’t. This place is worth it. Have a cheat day… I have a feeling I’ll be having a lot of those in the future!

I expected more based on reviews that said it was close to or better than Nori Nori. Yes, they have a great selection, but the quality is not great. The crab legs, oysters, and mussels are small and of poorer quality than Nori Nori(smaller, not as clean). Their desserts are prepackaged cakes that you will find at any Chinese buffet, and their hot dishes were your typical Chinese fast food favorites including sesame chicken and pepper steak. The hibachi was on point though. Choose your veggies and protein, and the teriyaki and yum yum sauce is plentiful. The sushi selection was nice and nothing too crazy, so I liked most rolls. The husband noticed that every roll was California or shrimp tempura filled and they just had different wrap style and toppings. The frozen yogurt was surprisingly good.

This is as good as a buffet gets! Sushi, unlimited snow crab legs?! Awesomeness. This place is pricey for dinner, thus, people were there celebrating their birthdays. Maybe this is not the place to go on a typical night for that reason alone so better try the lunch option first if you just want to try it. The desserts were fresh and didn’t takes dry. The food was all ready and hot and service was good. They even have an alcohol permit– rare at buffers. The place was immaculate and the bathrooms were also clean. I know there are buffet snobs out there(germaphobes) but the best part of a good buffet is being able to try new foods. They had these tiny delicious yummy sesame-seed dough type of balls next to the miso soup that were addicting; why did I only get one?! What are they? What culture? Please message me if you know! I will definitely be back for more.

Check out this place if you are looking to eat a lot and are in the mood for Japanese. The buffet has tons of options to choose from, but I like to come here for the seafood. All you can eat crab legs and raw oysters are a bargain for $ 20. You can also eat for FREE if it’s your birthday, so keep that in mind if you know someone who can make a fake ID(just kidding), The staff here is great, they will warm up you crab legs for you if ask them and they are quick when it comes to picking up your old dishes at your table. Not all the seafood like raw oysters for example will be available if you come here for lunch, but expect everything for dinner. Great place overall though, I will definitely be back here. Lunch Hours & Prices: Mon-Fri 11:30am-3:00pm($ 10.95) Sat-Sun 12:00pm-3:30pm($ 12.95) Dinner Hours & Prices($ 2 off for seniors age 60+): Sun-Thu 5:00pm-9:30pm Fri-Sat 5:00pm-10:30pm (dinner last seating is 30 min prior to closing) Mon-Thu($ 19.95), Fri-Sun($ 21.95) My Recommendations: –crab legs –raw oysters

I was excited to try this place after all the good reviews and lots of advertising. I seriously thought this would be the next Nori Nori, at a cheaper price, but as the lesson goes, you get what you pay for and it certainly rang true with Tokyo Bay. Advertised to include a large, delicious sushi selection, I arrived with high expectations. Upon walking in, however, this place was identical to all the other Chinese buffets that have sprouted all over – similar dark carpeting, booth style seating, cheap chairs, in your face signs. I started off with a huge plate of sushi, which this place takes pride in as it takes up almost half of the buffet selection, and it was very disappointing and low quality. Oddly shaped and sized with a combination of peculiar ingredients, it didn’t meet my expectations. I didn’t venture back to sushi after my first plate, but instead enjoyed some of their warm items, which were of surprisingly good quality and taste: salt and pepper shrimp, pepper steak with good quality beef, nicely breaded sesame chicken, and a generous hibachi bar. Overall, I’d probably return, but only if I’m not in the mood for a sushi buffet.

Came here for lunch with Ricky yesterday. I enjoyed my experience and here is why: 1. easy to find parking 2. sat immediately 3. no long lines like at nori nori last time i went 4. the food is good(sushi and chinese selction of food) 5. the quality of the fish was better than i expected 6. the owner(or the manager?) is chinese and speak mandarin(that was useful) 7. lot of tvs to keep ricky quiet while i eat 8. clean cut place/comfy booth The only things I did not like is : 1. not a huge selection since the place is smaller 2. no oysters or crablegs The price for lunch is pretty good, was about $ 27 – 28 for the two of us. Def got my moneys worth(I think i scared the table next to me on how much i can eat) I recommend this place and i will be back
